I don't think there's an altoin that can crush BTC in terms of price cause all altcoin prices are controlled by the price of BTC. but in terms of trade, i think ETH is will overtake BTC (consider the advent of ERC-20)

not in the nearest future. considering the supply 21million BTC  to 100million ETH and the fact that the price of eth has been and is still based on the price of BTC

I don,t think you can get the attention or time of a serious or experience "market trader" for the kind of small investment you're talking about without parting with some serious money yourself except he himself if just starting, and that, my friend, is a recipie for disaster. i will recomend some online time, download loads of videos, pay attention and try some dummy forex apps where they give you come fake cash to trade.
