That was my thought at some point, that the auto-thermal fan control is keeping the fan from not spinning. Is there any possibility to set the fan manually? As far as I know, you can't really influence the PSU in any way, but again, I'm opened to any suggestions.

Thanks a lot for the advices. Just to make it more clear:
PSU1 is the main PSU connected to the motherboard which has connected GPU1 and GPU2
PSU2 is the one with the problem which has connected GPU5 and GPU6
PSU3 has connected GPU3 and GPU4

Yesterday i switched the connection between PSU2 and PSU3 just to check if it is a cable problem but the fan still won't spin on PSU2. PSU3 is working as intended.

All i can tell at the moment is that the PSU is powering up the cards but after some time it's probably overheating and shuts down completely.

I'll try the paperclip test today.

Thanks for the reply. The miner was on for 4 months before moving to the other room. Not a single problem in this time. So i doubt it's overheating... The PSU it's not smelling like it's burned.

I'm new in this forum. I have a 6 RX580 rig with 3 PSU 750 Gold. I had to move the miner to another room some days ago and now only 2 PSU are running. If i power up the rig all of my 6 graphics cards are turning on and the hashrate is around 159 but the fan from the second PSU is not spinning. After some time my last 2 graphics cards are shutting down without any reason at all. I don't think it's a PSU problem as the last 2 cards are turning on...

I'm using this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/24-Pin-20-4Pin-Triple-PSU-ATX-Power-Supply-Adapter-Cable-18AWG-Wire-For-Mining-L059/32830227023.html? as the adapter.

Any idea what could be the problem? Did somebody encounter the same problem before?
