1  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Braiins OS: open-source mining firmware [S9, T1]. New release includes AsicBoost on: December 30, 2020, 12:00:08 PM

I have a similar issue to this on my T17 where I was using the beta version (braiins-os_am2-s17_sd_2020-11-05-0-7f7650dc-20.11-plus-nightly) on SD and was all fine and dandy but when I went to flash it to the NAND now it will no longer boot up and only gives the RED light. I've tried resetting and also boot from the factory SD image with no luck.

The bigger question is what are you doing on viabtc? I assume your mining btrash or her ugly sister?

P.S. I love the new FW BTW good job!

Been running custom firmware for over 2 years. As long as you get a good one I have actually been able to extend the life of my miners due to being able to run it cooler and use less electricity.

I am running 600 / 17.2v @ 35TH/s
I am only doing 62C PCB temp.
I don't want to push things until autotune is out or the weather cools down.

Thanks so much for this firmware.
Any idea of an ETA for the Autotune?
For some reason my T17 seems to decrease hashrate the longer it is on.
It's like 40C here ATM so I assume it's heat related. For this reason I am underclocking but I am trying to avoid going back to BM firmware.
If it is going to be a few weeks then I'll go back to stock but if it is only a few days away then I'll obviously wait.

Wow it worked for me!
I am so happy I could kiss you.

I'll throw some LTC your way for being such a champ

If you bothered to read the thread it has bricked a lot more than one T9+

You can just buy a new control board from Bitmain. I am 99% sure you can reload the software from an SD card just like you can if you brick an L3+
I personally just ordered a new control board $60 USD + postage

I just tried a different control board and still the same error
"T9+_fixed450_noPreHeat_test"

I tried this on an Antminer T9+ and it is not hashing.
I am getting this error "Logic Version   T9+-nopreheat"

I have flashed back to factory firmware and reset to defaults and still no luck.
Also restored from a backup and still nothing.
