1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / New NFT marketplace launches today - physically-backed NFTs on: September 29, 2021, 06:01:53 PM
Really interesting company that allows people to mint NFTs that represent physical assets launched today

Where’s the best places to buy high ticket items with crypto?

Only place I’ve heard of doing this is 4K, but they’re building a marketplace where you can buy/sell NFTs backed by physical assets. They’re just starting out with high end watches. Would be interesting to see other items as well (website: http://4k.com/drops)

I feel like with the advent of blockchain we can disrupt all web2 platforms which all have crazy high fees and inefficiencies/fraud.

Wow its, Really a market place designed for transactions using crypto, when I entered the 4k website we had to install metamask first and I realized the items being sold were rare items. this is a unique and crazy idea to buy things with crypto with changing coin values it is really difficult to calculate the profits but this is the right design to buy physical assets with crypto money. I wish there was an online market place like that in my country

I mean it’s like any other marketplace. You name your price and you can probably choose to only accept a stablecoin like USDC. I have my eye on my some watches they have listed for sale

Doesn’t Lolli act like honey where you earn satoshis from everyday purchases?

Otherwise my other suggestion would be 4k. I’m hoping they launch their marketplace soon because I’m itching to spend some of my nft gains
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase to Allow US Users to Deposit Paychecks Directly in Crypto. on: September 28, 2021, 05:08:42 PM
What a joke lol. I still can’t even access my coinbase account because of their customer service
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT hype-Who knows what the next big thing in crypto will be? on: September 28, 2021, 05:07:26 PM
all I know is that the current cycle is overhyped. The second we have more practical applications for nfts is the second we’ll have more adoption. I personally have my eye on the nft marketplace 4K (4K.com) where they back nfts with physical assets like watches
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain gaming will rock on: March 11, 2019, 09:25:06 PM
I like where your head is at. Any ideas on which platform you would use? Needs to be highly scalable if you want to keep things moving. I would look into MOAC maybe over say Ethereum.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH VS EOS who wins? on: February 27, 2019, 08:02:12 PM
How come neither has crosschain interoperabilities or ipfs capabilities? Moac happens to have these along with the option for developers to choose which consensus they want for the dapp. Pretty impressive if you ask me.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What made you fall in love with crypto? on: February 27, 2019, 07:45:35 PM
I am really fascinated by the amount of young people who are looking to create a better future. This excites me and makes me love a project that finally puts the real human back into humanity
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins are the new money, is this true? on: February 27, 2019, 07:38:07 PM
Stablecoins seems to be trendy this year but I don't think they will be forever once people realize how centralized they all seem to be. Of all the 'stable' coins I would say that Ampleforth looks to be the most sound and one that looks to be the most successful in the future if we are trying to obtain a true decentralized form of payment.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An ERC 20 Stable Coin on: February 13, 2019, 11:57:43 PM
I don't think we would even want to peg it to fiat on the first place. I do know of Ampeforth who will be using a ERC20 contract for their coin. They tend to get grouped in the stablecoin category but honestly they really aren't one at all.

This is a better detailed article to explain: https://medium.com/ampleforth/independent-currency-in-a-multi-chain-world-67032dce8296
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how to promote the cryptocurrency. on: February 13, 2019, 11:53:05 PM
definitely social media and writing/blogging/making videos about it
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is this a good sign for ethereum on: February 13, 2019, 11:44:42 PM
I like the general push for countries to enable crypto projects like this however I think there could be something better than pegging it to their currency seeing how volatile it already is. Have you heard of ampleforth who also happens to be building on Ethereum but with an algorithmic stablecoin that is inflates and deflates according to demand.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CryptoKitties - Ethereum's first blockchain game on: February 13, 2019, 11:19:42 PM
cryptokitties is actually really cool! love that they teamed up with gods unchained too
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is best PoS coin to invest into right now? on: January 26, 2019, 01:03:59 AM
i would have to tell you moac because it has a Pow and PoS system. bad ass imo
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto TV Show on: January 26, 2019, 01:01:17 AM
In my opinion, a small part of people in our world know what crypto is, and if anyone knows, few people have come across it. Therefore, TV Show can make crypto even more popular.

ya I agree. we've seen how media changes people's opinions esp if its on a larger publication channel that people will for sure watch it. maybe add some reality tv show spin on it lol

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / great youtuber covering MOAC on: November 20, 2018, 10:15:33 PM
I saw this good video about MOAC (#71 on CMC): https://youtu.be/KJk4CByxTiE

Thoughts on MOAC? Blockchain to build dapps on and devs can choose PoW or PoS. Claiming to reach 100,000 TPS
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Bitcoin in India on: November 20, 2018, 10:14:07 PM
I think governments can't fight crypto no matter what they do, so they might as well embrace it
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: favorite public blockchains to build dapps on? on: November 20, 2018, 10:12:42 PM
