1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LEASERIG.NET - rent mining rigs - SHA256 rigs are needed! on: February 27, 2014, 09:41:51 PM
This may fix the issue I'm having where my rig crashes about an hour after I add it to the leasing site. I'm running Linux Xubuntu 13, and it seems to have happened when I added the save function to my command line. I've since removed it but I haven't added it back into the lease system yet.

Did you get rid if the option to see, and to switch to, a customer's pool?

I get an email when its rented and when there is half hour left....

have you checked your spam and that it has the correct email address?

Ah, I didn't even notice the place to put in my email address. I've entered it in now, and I'm sure it will work now, thanks.

Tell me please, if you can not use cgwatcher, how can I automatically restart in sgminer hung cards with a message DEAD or SICK?
You just need to add your IP to the allow switch, and change the port on CGWatcher to 7777. Mine works fine.

Just a thought, but it would be nice to know when someone rents, how about sending an email out to the rig owner with the info that your rig has been rented and who rented it, so the rig owners can hop onto the admin page and make sure it's mining for the client.
I've run into a couple times where something weird happened and it didn't save the client's information. I usually catch it pretty quick because I'm always monitoring the site, but just to make that process a little faster.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [GUIDE] How to rent your rig on LEASERIG.NET - Scrypt & SHA256 on: February 13, 2014, 07:50:22 PM
Port can be one only. All remote connections will use that port, no matter from which IP.
Ah, so I'd have to change the port that CGRemote uses to 7777?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [GUIDE] How to rent your rig on LEASERIG.NET - Scrypt & SHA256 on: February 13, 2014, 07:14:15 PM
OK, I have a dedicated rig that's Linux, and I'm using CGRemote to monitor it. I had this all set up and working fine, before I got CGRemote. Now I can't figure out how to set them both up to work together. Here's my old line:

./cgminer --api-groups P:switchpool:addpool:removepool:restart:* --api-listen --api-allow P:89.212.242.33 --api-port 7777 --scrypt blah blah card config blah

So, P is the leaserig group, and I've gathered that I need to make another group for CGRemote, we'll use W. So, I've got (LOCALIP in place of my local IP address, I don't want to post that):

./cgminer --api-groups P:switchpool:addpool:removepool:restart:* --api-listen --api-allow P:89.212.242.33,W:LOCALIP --api-port 7777 --scrypt blah blah card config blah

The only thing I'm confused about is the port part. Page 2 of this thread is where I got this config from, except for how to enter the port. Do I have to specify that group W uses port 4028 or no because it's a default port? How do I tell --api-port that group P uses 7777 and group W uses 4028? Or is the entry "W:LOCALIP" enough for it to accept access from that IP using the default 4028 port? Don't you have to at least define that W group in the --api-groups string?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LEASERIG.NET - rent mining rigs - now with BULK & SHA256 support! on: February 04, 2014, 03:25:43 PM
Guys, just set your prices lower. There are hundreds of customers waiting to get this great service with bulk rig management and all, but with so high prices, it is not worth their risk. I set my rigs low and they are snapped in a moment they appear free, having almost constant 24/7 rental rate on them Smiley And yes, I am still making like 20-30% more compared to multipools like middlecoin. The goal is not to be greedy.
The problem is, the prices are so low now that I make more mining on my own than I could ever make renting right now, because of the prices.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Profit switching pool - wafflepool.com on: February 04, 2014, 11:52:35 AM
I switched to this pool 24 hours ago and just realized I had my all my worker usernames in the wrong format, using a period instead of underscore. As a result, my BTC earned didn't go up at all even though I could see my hashrate Sad. Is there any way I can get the BTC credited to my account?

I would email poolwaffle or PM him here or on Reddit. Not sure, but maybe there's something he can do for you.

It's not just wallet address with any password?

You can use anything for the password. But you can also use different workers by using your bitcoin address followed by an underscore followed by a workername. This way each worker can have a different vardiff.

It's not required though right? I don't need to have it like that, or do I have to have at least something in there, like WALLETADDRESS_Something?

I've been on middlecoin for the past couple days, but I switched over to you to check you out.

One thing I'll miss from middlecoin is the simple android app that I put my BTC address into, and it would poll the site and display my stats. There's 2, one called Middlecoin and Middlecoin Monitor (the better and faster of the 2).

I don't know what is involved in putting an app like this together, but you may want to make something like that, or maybe start with a mobile sized page that I could have up on my phone that I could just hit refresh on.

I have high hopes for this pool, I think you are the best chance for good competition for middlecoin... his fees are outrageous. Also, I was just looking at my stats all night tonight, and I went from $19 to $15 with no payout, so I'm not sure what's going on there, but I wonder if there's a shady reason why he's so secretive about what's going on behind the scenes with his setup.

Can you please fix your login system to I can actually log into my admin page. It keeps saying the user doesn't exist or wrong password, but I'm clearly still listed in the rigs page, and I'm not using the wrong user or password.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LEASERIG.NET - rent mining rigs - now with BULK support on: January 30, 2014, 01:51:21 PM
I think you should increase your check time to at least 4 seconds. My rig randomly shows offline on the site but it never is actually offline, and with the changes I've made there's no more drops pinging the internet, so I'm not sure what's going on, but it's not on my end anymore. I'm sure it takes longer than 2 seconds to run through a ping check of 100+ machines from your side.

Also, I'm confused on the displayed price that shows in the rig list. My best price listed is .0198, but I put in .022 on the admin page, and it's .02146 after your cut, so is that .0198 actually correct?

what about for those of us using sgminer?
How is sgminer? I've been thinking about switching to it, but on my small rig I'm not sure I'd get much benefit out of it. Do you get better performance?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LEASERIG.NET - renting & hiring of mining rigs - ONLINE AGAIN! on: January 29, 2014, 10:58:07 PM
There's way too many renters now, what are we doing to get the word out about our renting?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LEASERIG.NET - renting & hiring of mining rigs - ONLINE AGAIN! on: January 29, 2014, 03:43:44 AM
So, how am I supposed to get to that 15 post milestone so I don't have to wait 360 seconds between posts if it counts up to 14 and then every post is my 14th?
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LEASERIG.NET - renting & hiring of mining rigs - ONLINE AGAIN! on: January 29, 2014, 01:18:10 AM
I'm curious how the /day calculation works when you put in a plan for 48 hours. Does it multiple what you put in by 2, or do you have to do the math for 2 days?
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LEASERIG.NET - renting & hiring of mining rigs - ONLINE AGAIN! on: January 28, 2014, 10:54:41 PM
Alright, I've found my issue, the card I got for my rig is 2.4Ghz which seems to have enough interference in the area to be causing 1 to 2 second drops every once in a while, which in turn is showing my rig as offline on the site randomly when it actually isn't. I've ordered some networking hardware that will fix the connection issues, so I'll get that in a day or 2, and switch it between leases. There should be no downtime for any of my renters.

Is the site working? I can't register as no Captcha image appears?

Sometimes google is not distributing captcha - I have no idea why this is happening. Try refresh or again after some minutes.
You have to refresh the whole page, not just hit back and try again. I had the same issue when I registered.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LEASERIG.NET - renting & hiring of mining rigs - ONLINE AGAIN! on: January 27, 2014, 09:35:16 PM
Hi djeZo I had a strange issue. I rented one of the rigs and it said rig is already hired. But it seems it was hired by me. Not sure what happened there. Wasted a couple of hours it seems

Maybe you hit refresh after you hired it Smiley That would explain the situation.
This is actually what prompted my question earlier, I was worried that me deleting/recreating the rental plans screwed something up. Not sure who's fault it was or what happened, but, he paid to mine his stuff and it was mining mine instead, so I extended Zombie123's lease 3 hours.

It was still weird, and it could have just been a timing thing with deleting/recreating rental plans. I'd test to see that it won't cause issues, just to make sure.
