Is smalltimeminer pool down? Why haven't network hashrate lowered? It had more than 1GH/s
I think it's down.. all my miners just timed out Likewise here - still down I guess?

DarkXfer DarkOnymousXfer I would call it "Darkcoin" Technology. Why? 1. We all know other alts are going to steal the technology. Well, if Darkcoin brands its technology with its own name and establishes itself, by calling the technology Darkcoin technology all the other coins will be forced to Acknowledge DarkCoin.!!! Heck by stealing from us, the other alts will be giving us free advertising and adding legitimacy to Darkcoin!! We will have them over a barrel.. Agreed. Keep it simple, and make sure that this coin is the key to the word, anyone copying it after that will just look bad. My vote goes to Darktech I'll change my vote to this as well I will third that - changing my vote.

So KGW is working great, the fork went off with out a hitch and now we're whale proof! So I want to move on to the next topic. A few days ago I asked if we should open source the technology or not and the vast majority of you all want it to be open source, so we're going to do that. So, that being the case earlier today in #darkcoin we were discussing the anonymous technology (An improved variant of coinjoin built into the client) and we were brain storming names for it.
Since it's going to be opensource we want to brand it, if other coins add it the users will know where it came from. So we have these ideas, we want to do a sort of poll and see what everyone likes.
Please limit your reply to your favorite name for the technology:
DarkSend DarkTransfer DarkTwister DarkXport DarkTransit DarkStep DarkTrigger Darkify Darkifier DarkForce Darkoflage Darkize DarkShroud DarkEncode DarkPool DarkPooling DarkCipher DarkJoin (as in based on CoinJoin)
(or if you think you have a better name, put that in the reply)
Thanks!

Yes you are. It's how long you have / how many cores etc up and running. Up and running means built / configured, even if they are shut down!!!
The only way to stop the clock is to delete them. I just spent 3/4 hour plus reconfiguring mine. Remember ONLY deleting can stop the $$$'s from ticking down!
Well mine aren't shutdown - they are running, have been since last week - about 4-5 days I think - hopefully they can make a little DRK now that the diff has dropped! how many virtual machines and with how many cores? I am running 3 machines - two with 8 cores and 1 with 4 cores - configured with their 'cookie cutter' setup, they wouldn't let me setup one box with 20 cores and 4Gb ram - so I just did it with as few machines as I could

Hi,
I try to register for Free trial azure account. They ask me my card number? I have to put one to obtain the free trial??? But didn't use it? Can you confirm about this?
Thanks,
I had to enter a card # - but they won't charge anything unless you actually sign up for additional time - and it is MS - they are reasonably honest, I think....

Wow. That is so nice of you. Would you or anyone else be interested in selling me some (paypal or LTC)? I'm only holding about 120 darkcoins right now and have used up almost all of my Azure free trial on this. Stupid me, I let it run while it was on difficulty 90+ since it was a pain to set up for me since I'm new to this and I thought the $200 free trial would last at least a few weeks. It's only been 3 days and I'm almost empty. lol. I was pushing +1MH/z with Azure (20 core) and my i7 4700. Also, any tips is appreciated. I had a late start at darkcoin. Started 3 days ago, but have a feeling this will be the next Vertcoin or better. XdfWkfeevqRzWn6psNppevgKNDL7LEmuwM Thank you .
So I don't understand - I started up a trial of Azure - 20 cores - and my account statement says that I am using about $12/day of the $200 - so at that rate I will get almost 17 days out of the trial - Am I missing something - is it really only going to be good for 4 days and the account page is just not accurate?

Where and how do I get on the private exchange....WTB more MRY!!
I want to sell some MRY - Please PM me with amount/offer

I got a free account with microsoft and a free 30 day trial of azure - allows me to run 20 cores (each gets about 33kh/s) and point them at my pool - If a number of others can jump on this then perhaps we could generate some kh/s to offset this whale?
I realize that it will take alot of folks at 660kh/s - but it is something - and it only took me about 30 min to set up...

Does anyone have decent settings for R9 290x with Elpida RAM? I have 3 rigs with 3 cards each and am 'only' getting about 320kh per card
You could try: "intensity" : "13", "worksize" : "256", "gpu-threads" : "2", "thread-concurrency" : "14080", "shaders" : "2816", "gpu-engine" : "950", "gpu-fan" : "0-85", "gpu-memclock" : "1500", "gpu-powertune" : "20", "temp-cutoff" : "92", "temp-overheat" : "90", "temp-target" : "78", "auto-fan" : true, "expiry" : "0", "gpu-platform" : "0", "queue" : "0", "scrypt-vert" : true, "temp-hysteresis" : "3",
Yes, thats two threads and a low intensity (generally not recommended). But it works for me with two cards, rock stable, 0 HW errors at a hashrate of 420 Kh/s and WU 385/m per card. Additionally you get a low latency (less rejects). Took me some time to figure out, so if it works for you, I'd appreciate some VTC Vc3a3qjdSvUov5Ypm9dPFxyh2pbw3wy9NE Ok - Tried these settings - CGminer (win7) - the "scrypt-vert" allowed me to get 800Mh (yes Mh) - but nothing valid - changed it back to "scrypt" and it would run - but was only getting about 290kh/s per card (3 cards in this rig) - With any other settings of the TC and I it wasn't stable for me, until I changed the "GPU-Threads" to 1 - Your config seemed to be stable, though a little slower for me - the 2 threads with an intensity above 13 didn't seem to agree with my rig, so I couldn't get anything further out of it (couldn't up the I to get more kh/s)

i want to compile a list of cpu / hash per sec.. please post what cpu you have, and what your hash speed is
Running on MS Azure - 20 cores at about 34kh/s per core (total of about 660kh/s)

I am working on getting listed - still new to the forums - have been scrypt mining since late November and feel that my rigs are stable at this point - Once I can get the requirements worked thru - I am excited to sign up!!

It does seem a bit quiet - would like to have some more posts from dev about future plans - ?
Is there any word on when it may be listed on an exchange?

Investing is not for everyone - I am in the mining game and it is challenging to keep eyes on the ball (that BTC is an investment) - keep running the numbers and it gets scary when the bottom seems to be dropping out. I like the idea of changing the chart out to 6 months and looking at where it's been though

Does anyone have decent settings for R9 290x with Elpida RAM? I have 3 rigs with 3 cards each and am 'only' getting about 320kh per card
Been following this thread and it looks like these cards should be running a little better but I have not had any success tuning them. I am currently running I-18 TC-25550 threads-1 dyninterval-7 platform-0 vectors-1 lookup-gap-0 worksize-256 GPU-925 Mem-1500 stock voltage
I have adjusted the GPU clocks up to about 1025 and get a little improvement, but it is unstable and crashes within about 10-15 min
If I adjust the Mem clock down or the Intensity then hash rate drops
Cards are sapphire reference cards - they hash on normal scrypt at about 880-900kh (win7) - I have one of these same cards in a BAMT machine that is hashing at 980kh - so I think they have more potential, but haven't been able to tease it out yet...

hi,
what power consumption you getting with your rig? how many kw/h etc?
ua
On this 4x 290x rig I am burning about 1200watts at the wall - have a 1300w EVGA single rail supply running this rig with 8 case fans and a lower end AM3 processor on an MSI 990FXA-GD80 board
