Regulation that can easily be circumvented is not great.
Most of the new EU regulations are for combating Money Laundring - but doing a really bad job at it.

Tether for sure wants to be in Europe, but they cannot follow all rules with their main token - as its already too big. Easier to create a new one - with their market dominance, they can easily push their partners to support it for EU citizen and make a free conversion between both.

It's the same as with every platform - we will see a small set of pioneers, then we will see the explosion of hundrets of different followers, and then we start to see a segmentation of markets.

Also not what they want - they rather want to make sure that trades with bitcoin are compliant (if thats good or bad is another discussion).

The key thing here is "AML Compliant sources"  - they want to make sure that every trade that goes into EU accounts, bank accounts, etc are accounted for and have the correct AML provision.
As this is their humble idea of how to fight money laundring and organized crime.
So they will make it harder for EU citizen and Institutions to buy and sell Bitcoin on non-compliant ecosystems and partners.

Let's say you earned some BTC from a DAO, and want to turn it into Euros, you will have to trade with an EU compliant counterparty, that will verify that your wallet have not been part in the past of suspicious activities, and if so, will accept your trade. Then from this counterparty (i.e. a CEX, or a off-ramp) you can receive Euros (or BTC on your EU-compliant platform).

In the end, this will result in a dual ecosystem, an EU-compliant one, and non-compliant. but trades between both will exist, and allways be possible.
Similar to the dark web, and the normal web - they exist on the same internet.

On the long term, they did the right thing for the ecosystem - drastically reducing L2 fees to make new products feasible.
Guess they expected that the demand is growing much faster than it actually is now..... lets see.

We have a premium partner at launch, and already since the private sale, all tokens are fully backed by 55% CBD Full Spectrum extract in a warehouse.

We believe this makes a fair pricing possible. And helps in improving transparency and quality on the CBD market.

If we really would like to enrich ourselves, then we would put the price to 50€, and not 16. that would still be 50% less.
And we would not run an ICO, we would just put it on Amazon as a shop.

And in my opinion, a Scam would be if customers do not get the value for their money. We have all the CBD certified by our partner and you can request your CBD anytime.
So its more save than any of this virtual coins that never had any real value behind.

As we have an ERC20 token, it can be used on any exchange that whats to list our token. There is no need for an own platform for that. One of the sweetness of it :-)

We want to enable a community defined pricing. meaning that when the coin hits the exchanges, new CBD is issued only to the price on the exchanges.
That is basically like if you as an end consumer could buy your products directly from the stock exchange.
For Example, Bananas cost in Europe in the supermarket about 1.20€ per kilo, on the exchange they cost like 20 cents...
So why not buy it directly from the exchange, and then get it shipped in a week?
