2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Digital Gold?? on: September 14, 2018, 03:29:27 PM
I do also believe that bitcoin should not be described as a digital gold because first and foremost, one of the major characteristics of bitcoin is, it is a digital currency. Currency as we all know, is the money that we are all using in transactions, paying bills, shopping etc. On the other hand, gold can't be use anywhere; it should first be converted to a physical currency to use it.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will bitcoin become obsolete? on: September 14, 2018, 03:13:57 PM
I don't think bitcoin will become obsolete because of its functionality. It has a lot of benefits that aside from what people get, the government could also get a benefit from it. Bitcoin is still under the process of development and some countries already legalized it. Sooner or later, other countries will also acknowledge the existence of it because of the growing population of bitcoin.

Bitcoin is still in the long process and it will be used for more days, weeks, months, years etc. And while in the process, it had been recognized, accepted and legalized for some of the countries and it is one of the goals of bitcoin. As what I've said, bitcoin is still in the long process, and it will be more popular for the next days. We don't know what lies ahead in the future but, since the population of bitcoin is rapidly growing, it will gave an assurance about bitcoin's existence for more years.

Yes, bitcoin isn't a legit currency but, for only some countries. Why? Simply because there are countries that accept and legalized the use of bitcoin as a currency, cryptocurrency to be exact, that makes it legit currency. It just became not legit currency if the government of a certain country didn't legalized the use of it.
