5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Double names in Spreadsheet campaign (How to prevent "Effort-Grabbers") on: August 06, 2018, 02:05:55 PM
I just noticed that some spreadsheets of bounty campaigns have multiple occurring of same names.
I do not know the reason of this phenomenon.  Maybe the user inputted his/her entry twice.  But I also encountered in which one registered using the name and bitcointalk profile link of other member and listed his/her ETH address, meaning he will reap the efforts of others.

Because of these, I would like to suggest to use CONDITIONAL FORMATTING in the spreadsheet to identify duplicate or multiple names.

STEP 1

STEP 2

I hope this helps to prevent "Effort-Grabbers"

We're asking people to sign-up on our website and then we cross-check that registration email with every bounty claim to avoid people trying to double the effort or get around the rules.   Once you submit registration with email and ethereum address, that information can't be changed.  We look for duplicates each week and determine if it was an actual mistake or malicious behavior in which case the person is disqualified.  Bounty management isn't easy!

You can always personally reach out to startups through email or other channels and ask.  Have you tried LinkedIn?

Another fall is coming, I feel like I can’t hold it anymore.I have lost too much.I really can't hold it anymore. Can anyone give me some advice?

Not with the fall coming, don't go yet.  Just remember this feeling in Nov/Dec when you're up again and don't forget to sell!!!

This is good general guidance.  I don't think length should be considered.  If it is, then shorter is usually sweeter.
10  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What is the cost of building an ICO website: on: July 22, 2018, 11:55:33 PM
$20K its big money. We attracted 1,000 investors for this money, which brought $300K in our project.

(Look here)

Definitely gotta look at the ROI of any expense but $20k better have some awesome functionality in addition to great design.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Telegram overrated? on: July 22, 2018, 11:17:42 PM
Every ICO nowadays needs must display a Telegram channel, that has become the fashion. But, is it really necessary to do so?

I'm asking because I came across a newly launched ICO whose Telegram channel displays the same two posts (about their ICO) repeated daily. They have about a couple of thousand subscribers, but no engagement, barring a few stray hi's and memes.

On a few other ICO channels, I've observed bot behaviour, and admin strikedowns, but no messages regarding the token itself. Finally, even the messages that seemed relevant were all of the type that an FAQ would've clarified.

So, is it time we call the bluff on this particular social media platform?

Are your experiences different from what I've stated above?

Perhaps ICO's are in too many places -- telegram, discord, etc.?  Although I'm not sure they can limit themselves to any single community.  Either way, itdoesn't make much sense to redundantly post daily with no engagement.
