Need quick money. 1st stage IPO 1.499 BTC - PM me your offer. If the offers aren't good enough, I keep it.

What would be a offer you were satisfied with?  Wink

I wonder how can these chips be stacked to add up the hashing power?

Is there a datasheet or reference design?

I may be interested in a custom build
3  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Deutsche NEM Community on: April 30, 2014, 10:17:38 PM

Ja NEM entwickelt was ganz super tolles neues, aber was denn nu?

4  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Deutsche NEM Community on: April 30, 2014, 08:00:15 AM

5  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: NXTL: Next Coin Lite - deutsche Fassung - Faire Verteilung on: April 30, 2014, 07:57:46 AM

SchnaCk SchnaCk SchnaCk knabber Karotte knabber,

a) den Kursverlauf ansehe.

Was bietet NXT was es nicht schon irgendwie gibt?

Question to the pro's here:

How much nxt do I reasonably need for forging? I am a bit confused. My estimated block generation time always changes with every new block...

100k+ NXT or so in my view (which is still very inconsistent to calculate consistent return).

Don't view forging as something where you will make load of NXT on. View it as helping secure the network. Same thing will happen when any bitcoin-like crypto reaches their max supply cap where they have to help secure the network and get paid in transaction fee's. I view forging blocks like winning a very tiny lottery until we have more transactions happening often.

If you have a low amount of NXT I would suggest joining nxtio.org (forging pool) and send your NXT there to forge if you want to have satisfaction of an increasing NXT amount(although very very tiny increase). Unless we ever getting leased forging method.

Thank you!
It would be helpful If I would see my forging rate in the client like: 0.000xxxx NXT / Day. With the current XXX Days to create next block always changing every minute I cannot deal with.

just remember you don't get partial NXT if you forge a block (you will get 1 or more NXT not .01/.1/etc. NXT). Nxtio.org has something like that but that's the only way you will see something like that. Someone else can explain why the time is there, as I am horrible at explaining things...

Would be really cool to get partial next, so everybody could see the cash register ring  Grin

Also, I wanted to help give some more visibility to the roadmap for BoottleXCP + request for donations that Jah posted over there:

 https://forums.counterparty.co/index.php/topic,134.0.html

Also I can't wait for the release of TheMightyX's GUI for BoottleXCP:

I hope you guys like this as much as we do, and thanks for supporting our efforts!

Is this the previously mentioned counterwallet? Looks nice...  Wink

Nope, this is the BoottleXCP client developed by JahPowerBit.  CounterWallet is a web-based deterministic wallet - which I'm also quite excited about by the way! - developed by xnova.

OK as far as I oversee, there are several GUIs in development right now. Wouldnt it be better to concentrate all effort of several programmers into ONE general GUI?
Pull together instead of doing ones own thing. I think the others dont sleep, noone wants to be outstriped by the competitors  Grin

Guys,

Im talking to you as an average Joe.

I like the idea of this project, but I dont see where the road goes right now.

I could manage to burn a btc in the burning phase and I am excited of how this will evolve and Im planning to hodl so far, but I couldnt even sell XCP if I wanted. For me there are too many obstacles in the way that would enable me to buy, sell, trade, etc.

So this arises some questions to me:
- Will there be a user friendly Wallet some day, everyone is capable of using? I think thats a major reason for moste people not getting onto the XCP-train right now. I see in blockscan "only" about 2400 different addresses with XCP onto it. This is way too less in my opinion to get successful.
- What is the roadmap of the dev team? Is there any plans to get a wider spread of counterparty? Even IF we do marketing like hell, people couldnt use it because its not user friendly right now.

I dont want bitchin around. I deeply honor what the dev-team and community has reached so far. Im just trying to be a little bit constructive.

Cheers!

Hi,

Counterparty allows users to place trustless bets with the entire Counterparty ecosystem. This includes simply Win/Loss bets such as sporting event and more complex bets, which will allow you to speculate or hedge risk on currencies or commodities. Counterparty also does other things. For example, you can create a company and distribute dividends to shareholders easily, drastically lowering the cost of starting and maintaining a company.

Counterparty is four months old and still holds the most appeal for a small set of technically savvy users. The issues you mention in your post are exactly the reasons why there are only 4,000 unique addresses. However, we're happy with the growth of the project and I do not expect growing the community further to be an issue. Counterparty's focus has always been developing the protocol and that continues to be the case. As Counterparty becomes easier to use there will very likely be a large influx of new, less technical users.

Counterwallet is going to be a turning point for the project. The overall makeup and size of the community will most likely change drastically in the short to mid term after its release.

Thats a nice summary, thank you.
So I think the winner will be an easy wallet for people like me Grin

Also I cannot use the DEX and I depent on a CEX, cauz Im not willing fighting the jungle of installing huge mass of dependencies and learning the huge commands...

You should do a bit more research. CounterWallet is coming out in 2-3 weeks. (Web wallet/exchange/GUI/etc.)

Sorry I couldnt read through all 200+ pages...
This sounds like good news. I hope this enables new users to mass-enter the market.

Where do I find information about CounterWallet?
