Github Has been Updated, New wallet is loaded and ready for download
Windows Wallet is currently updated WALLET UPDATED TO VERSION 0.6.4.1 Released: 2015/Nov/10 NON-MANDATORY RECCOMENDED (Mac and Linux to follow suit in the next few days[/s]) The wallet doesn't seem to sync. I'm not the only one having this problem, a few friends of me have the same problem. For me too. It says the last block was generated 5 hours ago and it never syncs. So there is a problem in the wallet. Not at my connection. Good to know. Thanks for sharing I switched back to the old wallet and that one still works fine. I did the same. Now it is synced.

Windows Wallet is currently updated WALLET UPDATED TO VERSION 0.6.4.1 Released: 2015/Nov/10 NON-MANDATORY RECCOMENDED (Mac and Linux to follow suit in the next few days[/s]) This wallet still does not allow to send any amount larger than ~17500 BIC. As with the older versions, it gives the "transaction creation failed" error. I also have the problem I Just sent 20k as a test. Not a problem at all. That's weird. I had this issue since I started using Binarycoin in early 2014. I have +40000 transactions in my wallet.dat file. Can it be the reason for the errors? Yeah it can be, maybe the wallet.dat got a bit corrupted or who knows what. Anyway as soon as possible try to move all the coins (with 2 or more transaction) on another wallet and try again from that one, is most likely a problem caused from the wallet.dat file. Yes, you're right. I just used my new wallet.dat to send 21000 without a single error. Too bad I will have to make lots of small transfers from the old wallet to the new...

You tried checking the source to see if is some kind of software lock? because if it trigger that error means that something in the code doesn't elaborate the beginning of the transaction... I'm not a programmer.

I will wait for an update, then. I'm using Windows 10.
Okay perfect thank you. These wallets were actually developed on a windows 10 platform. I see what's going on here, because the transactions for miners are like "dust" because they are so small and frequent you have to "clump" the transactions together. So for instance after you send 100K bic in 10K bic intervals to your other wallet. Once it got there you could then send the WHOLE 100K because the 10K batches would have condensed the transaction size. I am just double checking this and a few other things. Definitely want you to be able to send what you want when you want it. Worst case I will play with the transaction size limit. I'll keep in touch, should have a resolution today along with other updates. Thank you! I mined this coin in early 2014 along with eKrona (which was abandoned months ago and never revived) and always found it odd that the BIC wallet never allowed to transfer large sums and was very unstable but the KRN one worked fine and never crashed.

Welcome back Thank you! Hey you should list us if you'd like! OP for such a long chain i would recommend to upload bootstrap for new members who are going to join this party
Yes I'll be uploading a bootstrap today for everyone. Everything is taking time. Along with looking into issues. Nice design! Anything special in your stash for future development? I'd like to creat a fairly controlled in-wallet browser by which I mean buttons would link you directly to certain webpages. Would be nice to also add a feature where the user can change these "presets" so to speak but mainly this would set to exchanges and such. Looking forward to also get some store integration and usability. The main focus honestly is to further make the coin more user friendly and the GUI/look along with it, to partner with payment processors and develope some ourselves and make this coin a fully widely usable credit/coin. Sorry if that's a lot of rambling I hope I answered your question. There will be frequent updates but I will be punctual about notifying the Bitcoin talk thread. Hoping to have an "update" feature implemented soon where the user can simply one click to check for a more recent version of the client they are using and to offer to download and update the old one. Also the next goal is to finish our website and host this coin like gem amongst crypto hehe. I do also have to feature our other projects. Love the fact that someone took the time to continue the work.
I thank you for allowing the opportunity for someone to continue your work. The coin is good and the fastest I've ever seen. Some fixes will be needed but overall I'm very excited for the future. Ok, after the sync completed, I tried to send all my BIC to a new wallet because my old one has more than 40000 transactions and is very slow to process, but any amount higher than 10000 BIC gives the "transaction creation failed" error. Okay I'm looking into this issue now. I'm going to test some DAT files from my miners myself and see whats going here. In the meantime I'd like to ask what OS are you running this on, just curious. Mac wallet was created by an awesome Bitcointalk user, I will have more news on this after it is in the OP as well. I will wait for an update, then. I'm using Windows 10.

Yay! I'm already syncing! Most excellent! Lol seriously great! How are you liking everything so far? Defnintely looking for comments and opinions to further craft the wallet. Ok, after the sync completed, I tried to send all my BIC to a new wallet because my old one has more than 40000 transactions and is very slow to process, but any amount higher than 10000 BIC gives the "transaction creation failed" error. I believe network can transmit transaction which is less then 1Mb in size so in coin control select only this much coins which will make transaction smaller then 1mb. Hope it will fix your prob Cheers Thank you for the help, but I don't know where this setting is. The only option I can change is the fee value.

Not a single crash! The button links in the wallet are a nice touch. Very nice. I'm still syncing, ~620000 blocks to go.

Any news?
Yes Yes there is sorry! Any pools?
https://www.Cryptopia.co.uk/ Currently hosts a pool where you may mine Binarycoin! THE NEWS1. Nodes are currently launching. If you watch your wallets you will notice the connection rise. also if you go to the site mentioned above (Cryptopia) and go to "Explorer" then select Binarycoin it will allow you to view the nodes currently up. I've just launched 5 (some are still catching up on sync) I also just rebooted the first fully sync'd node as the serer it was on needed a clean startup so it should be registering momentarily 2. Github updated again with a hard cap implemented. So now the coin will actually stop at its projected 84.096Million. This will occur on block 4204800 so we are nearing the 50% mark. 3. Github will be updated again shortly with the nodes hardcoded into the wallet. Also implementing an "autogenerate" config file (which can then be modified to suite your needs). This will allow for the average user to not have to input any kind of settings or do anything special to run BinaryCoin. It will be a simple double click and go! 4. Client is scheduled to be released today. Sorry about the previous deadline and it not being met however I regrettably caught the flu and was down for a little. (I'm the main on the team who posts anything). 5. Site will hopefully be live today but worst case scenario we're aiming for tomorrow. 6. Finally going to add checkpoints to secure everything up a little further. Will definitely keep in touch today. (Have a few other places to post as well and things to do) Any chance of releasing the wallet this sunday? The URL for the pool should be cryptopia.co.nz, no?

Oh absolutely this will be aimed at making Binarycoin a "real" coin in the sense that it will have constant support and bugfixes along with a never ending push to move this project forward. Hang in there just a little longer, I'm almost done!
:-)
Will Provide links shortly!
Any news?

That's fantastic! The old wallet had several bugs, it crashed every 1~2 hours when solo mining and it did not allow sending more than 10000 BIC or so.
I can say without a second's hesitation that those two bugs ARE FIXED. New wallet runs on QT5.5, BerkeleyDB 6.1.26 (such new), openssl 1.0.1p&1.0.2d, BOOST 57, compiled with Mingw32 GCC 5.2 (newest). It's a nice clean static compile featuring support for OS's from XP to Windows 10. I've been mining for over a 24 Hour period with the wallet and have experienced no crashes what so ever. Also I'd like to add that I have sent a few members of the team 100K bulk single transactions that processed phenomanally. (No errors or hangups) New nodes will launch tonight then! Followed by a hard noded wallet update and site release! Stay tuned. Will create a Takover Thread as well once this has been accomplished ( no need to jump the gun and have people asking extra questions right? ) 15 second block times & 20 coins per block = 115,200 coins per day even if you were able to sell the coins at current ask price - all the coins in 24 hours are only worth 1.728 LTC or about $5.18 hardly seems worth mining jussayin - coin needs a serious price pump.
I would agree that the price is lower than it really should be but considering the fact that this coin was almost dead (I watched my node go offline and cryptopia report "it's dead jim" before) the price is currently reflecting the coin's status... Which until now hasn't been to well off. In fact there is no place to download a wallet for it. So unless you had one from before OR you can compile + fix the errors it had in the old source your pretty much out of luck. This team is chaging that, solid wallet, solid support here we go. I'll tell you one thing I enjoy mining it. Great coin and OMG so fast. OH ONE MORE THING, a nice new shiny logo is coming, It will look similiar but more polished. (not Looking to offend anyone so it resembled the original a lot) Great! Can't wait to update! I have a few BICs I'd love to trade for a fair price, not just pump and dump.

Hey everyone, I recently got an Email from someone who is interested in restarting the COIN. Of course I'm giving anybody who wants to permission to the GitHub
I currently hold a considerable amount of Binarycoin and have created a new github with updated source to work with Qt5 correctly. The plan was to restart this coin. No rebrand or anything just a takeover. I've just been quietly working on it since my last post. TAKEOVER COMING SOON, PLEASE STAND BY I have a new website and domain at the ready and plenty of nodes. That's fantastic! The old wallet had several bugs, it crashed every 1~2 hours when solo mining and it did not allow sending more than 10000 BIC or so.
