phoenix miner support amd rocm drivers?

Yes all stays same. But it starts mining better if renew gt settings. Maybe its some connection issue then.

Is there option to do miner command "Z"(autotune) in intervals? Like every 3 hours .
If difficult changes renewing GT option makes mining better.

I'm having a bit trouble with phoenixminer and my miningexpert B250 motherboard... it finds all my 6 gpus and starts filling up the DAG, however sometimes it fails to do so with a few of the gpus, which resulting in the computer crash with bluescreen then reboots.

this repeats often many times after consecutive retries after reboots, and sometimes it works after a poweroff...

any clue to what causes this ?

What PSU ?

I don't know why but at some point phoenix miner starts to show 0 hash rate, but it mines correctly on the pool, the share number increases with 0 hash.

I'm using ubuntu 18.04.
kernel: 4.20.6-042006-generic #201901310331 SMP Thu Jan 31 08:33:33 UTC 2019 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
amd driver: amdgpu18.40-676022
Phoenix Miner 4.1c

At the fastest this issue happens after 15 hours of mining, but It popped up even after 4 days.

I also notice this in dmesg, but not every time, sometimes this error is there sometimes is not

kern  :info  : [Sun Apr 21 10:41:04 2019] traps: phoenix[9096] trap divide error ip:550ac1 sp:7ffdb110f230 error:0 in PhoenixMiner[400000+740000]

Try other amd drivers. RX580 works perfectly with amd 18.10, 18.20 ok too.

Trying to use this miner in HiveOS with 3gb cards.
When it starts to mine dev fee, there is an error: "Allocating buffers failed with: clCreateBuffer (-61)." And miner hangs...
Is there possibility to switch off dev fee, maybe with hashrate drop? Is there an option like -nofee in claymore?

Use "-coin ella" command...you'll force miner to mine ella as devfee instead ETH, avoiding problem with big DAG,
and you'll also spare some time for creating new DAG
Added Extra config arguments: -coin ella
But it not helped... Miner still trying to switch to ethereum for dev fee:
Code:
GPU1: Allocating DAG (2.80) GB; good for epoch up to #230
GPU1: Allocating buffers failed with: clCreateBuffer (-61).

Hiveos have link miner config. if there are -allpools 1 ,this enables all pools for dev fee mining.

Hello PM users from PM version 4.a and 4.b Phoenixminer switch self to SSL security on devfee. is het possible to disable on windows  10 that mining programs using this. please help

good day

Use

-allpools 0  (allows dev mining at the pool you are mine)

-coin (coin that you mine, see first page)

Is correct to load two kernels?

GPU5: Using Ethash OCL kernels (Ellesmere; -clkernel 1 -clgreen 1)
GPU9: DAG 63% GPU3: DAG generated in 5.5 s (525.0 MB/s)
GPU3: Using Ethash OCL kernels (Ellesmere; -clkernel 1 -clgreen 1)
GPU2: DAG generated in 6.0 s (482.2 MB/s)
GPU2: Using Ethash OCL kernels (Ellesmere; -clkernel 1 -clgreen 1)

I have entered only -clgreen kernel.

-proto 3  does not work with 4. starts with default proto setting.
alsos if press c on miner screen(reload config), it starts miner in dual mining mode. i haven't set up dual miner.

Hello
Who knows why with all the cards that exist in rig such a periodic decrease in the hashrate lasts for about two minutes
All RX580 cards  (Windows OS 10) are an example on the screen of one card, the config settings are lower, but they have no effect, checked
https://ibb.co/foYAQL -pool stratum+tcp://etc.hvpps.net:3333 -wal ***.name -pass x -proto 4 -coin etc -amd -mi 14 -gt 20 -retrydelay 10 -fret 10 -gsi 10 -gswin 30 -ftimeout 180 -ptimeout 10 -stales 1 -eres 5 -clf 2 -gser 0 -dbg 0 -log 0

You -gt setting is wrong. Let the autotune make -gt setting. you can lower -mi too. get little les hasrate but miner mines better.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 3.5d: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: November 13, 2018, 11:42:33 AM
rx 570 cards, hiveos (linux), set -fanmin to 25, however PhoenixMiner shows fan speed as low as 17% not more, how come?

Use setting -tt 0  ,this disables phoenix miner control over gpu fans and then hiveos controls fan's. Dont use autofan setting, best is when fan's spinning constant speed.
Find the best speed for every gpu and set manualy

noticed that string -proto adds empty line in epools.txt
-proto 3
-proto2 3
epools.txt looks like this

1.
2.
3. pool where i mine.

and i cant get qtminer on this third pool, cos default is ethproxy and third line takes ethproxy.
using ubuntu 18
its not necessarily phoenix miner fault, maybe it hiveos.

Would removing the epools.txt file completely, and adding your wanted pools to the config line work?

Hiveos generates this epools.txt  when miner starts. So if i delete it , hiveos will make new one. but this gave me idea that i can change file that generates epools.txt Smiley

Mined now for few days and seems that phoenix is little faster than claymore.
After adding -mi settings, started mining better. -gt still auto tune. started mining prezzed Z and -gt was calculated.
Notised that after coin network difficult changes about 10TH (up or down), then was need to auto tune -gt setting again, was mining better.
So there is suggestion to phoenix , can you add setting that monitor coin network difficult and if changes in difficult are big then phoenix calculates new -gt settings.
Exsample: ETC dif 197TH calculated first, dificult rised to 206TH need to calculate again -gt settings. And this up and down goes every day.
This few minutes autotune is worth.

Actually with cooler cards takes less power.
-gt setting are auto tune.
does -acm setting makes any different under linux? claymore states that under linux no need for comput mode.

I started using phoenix from yesterday. Good surprise that i get better hashrate and lower power consumption than claymore.
Thought that claymore is good:)
Better dev fee too.  I'm using linux based miner.AMD OpenCL 16.60
claymore 300.3mhs 715w
phoenix (same clocks and green kernels) 304mhs 708w
https://hiveos.farm?ref=14664
maybe today is few degrees colder
?
