According to the devs on the first kittehcoin status update, one of the features they were trying to implement into kittehcoin was

stated this in post #31    ""Also merged mining is on the roadmap, another item CatCoin (and many other altcoins) will never see.""     
and stated this in post #45     ""There is one particular large feature we have almost completed that we'd like to have for relaunch. Want to make sure it is solid before letting it out there in the wild of course. Would make KittehCoin the first scrypt coin with this capability.""

Could kittehcoin be implementing merged mining into this big update and making it so that a new coin tied to Max Keiser could be merge mined with kittehcoin?
Or could it be somehow tied to Keiser's new crowdfunding startup "StartJOIN"?

Or a combination of both?  Something to think about.

It looks like something bigger than we think might be up for kittehcoin and that Keiser has some type of related interest in Kittehcoin, or he wouldnt be spending his time posting all these kittehcoin tweets.
