2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Which exchange?! on: February 18, 2014, 05:23:06 PM
Hey guys, i am pretty new to this whole bitcoin thing, after being scammed out of some money buy the site minershare.net, i have decided not to be discouraged and leave the bitcoin world, but instead abandon my dreams of mining and move on to buy and sell. I have been following the price of btc on coinbase, bitstamp, btc-e, and of course gox, for a while now but i want your guys opinion on which exchange i should put my money in. My thoughts have been leaning towards btc-e, but thats mostly because of that recent price drop to $102.  Grin
So let me know where you guys have been trading, and let me know where a rookie like myself should start.

so i am rather new to bitcoin. I heard about it two months ago and have been trying to get involved ever since (its a little more difficult being a college kid). After wasting 60 on an  antminer u1 i realized that it was to late for me to do any mining of my computer and i would need to try and get in on the 20 nm transition by cloud mining. i am pretty sure it was on this forum, but i someone was talking about cloud mining at $4 gh/s. That was the cheapest i had seen so i figured i would look into it. the site looked really legit and the response from the customer service was fast and helpful. so i thought a $240 investment wouldn't be a bad idea. so a few weeks ago i purchased 60 gh/s and have anxiously been waiting for their feb 15th launch. well here it is the 16th. minershare.net the website is down, and they aren't responding to my emails. could this be because they are setting up their rigs and it is taking longer than expected, or do you guys think i just get scammed.
