1  Economy / Economics / Re: When bitcoin prices rise up the market also will on: August 19, 2018, 01:38:23 PM
Different situations are possible. But the situation you described is slightly more probable, the reason is simple: all the alts are traded against BTC, though priced in it and it takes some time to market to adopt.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: China tells people to buy gold & silver on: August 19, 2018, 01:29:52 PM
Probably, they are going to sell gold from the reserves at a good price and buy crypto instead? ))
3  Economy / Economics / Re: US bosses now earn 312 times the average worker's wage, figures show on: August 19, 2018, 01:28:28 PM
Sometimes the market dictates its rules on the pricing, however, when it comes to the wages, we should remember that it should motivate employee and compensate their time spendings, I don't think that after certain limits, let us say x50, it keeps increase motivation, in fact, as an owner or board of directors I'd prefer to find any other motivation, but not x300 salary.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency on: August 19, 2018, 01:08:16 PM
Yes, it can be a universal mean of exchange. Why not, no country benefit from it, however, I think that we need something more straightforward, something stable and predictable - that are the essential features of a universal mean of payment.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stable Coins on: August 07, 2018, 02:02:11 PM
Stablecoins are an essential part of the adoption of blockchain itself. I think that some of the processes and internal points can be tokenized. However, the author of the thread mentioned not only stable coins.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA is the next big thing on: August 07, 2018, 01:57:31 PM
Yeah, IOTA does have a potential due to the technology. However, there is one peculiarity: it is run by Bitfinex.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Cardano (ADA) overvalued or undervalued? on: August 07, 2018, 01:55:21 PM
According to the Efficient Market Hypothesis, it neither undervalued not overvalued :-)
8  Economy / Securities / Re: Do you think all ICO are securities ? on: August 06, 2018, 10:17:13 PM
I think that we will see the end of the far-fetched utility tokens. Not all of them are securities, but even less of them have any utility.
9  Economy / Securities / Re: New Startup idea on: August 06, 2018, 09:35:48 PM
Hi Andrew, you do sound solid and experienced.

However, in the venture community people a bit sceptical as for the NDAs to hear the idea unless it is super unique. However, I haveb't seen purely unique ideas. For example, we have several projects with the fitness/cryptoideas: all of them are going to distribute emission among those who are doing excercises (accelerometer as a sensor)
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain as a solution to inequality? on: August 06, 2018, 09:28:52 PM
Hmm. Looking at the wealth distribution... Not really. However, the initial distribution is still in place. It is interesting to investigate, how this inequality in wealth distribution changing over time.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: When will Apple accept bitcoins? on: August 06, 2018, 09:22:40 PM
They will be forced to accept it like it was with some other technologies, like wireless chargers. Sometimes you have to join mainstream, even if you used to create mainstreams yourself.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] DreamTeam - the first Esports recruitment and management platform on: August 06, 2018, 09:15:14 PM
DreamTeam is ran by professionals. A lot of people chattering about the delay in listing, however, I think there is a solid reason behind it. SEC would consider you as a speculation token if you care too much about listing but not about the real platform development.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: When will smartphones used for bitcoin mining? on: August 06, 2018, 09:06:31 PM
I think that the only "Mining experience" is possible when we speak about mobile mining, e.g. Electroneum. It is possible only like a part of a reward system or like a part of the mechanism for emission distribution, while the actual computing on smartphones is not a good idea.

We had an interesting idea of rewarding people for traveling, however, there are a lot of issues connected with ease of GPS coordinates falsification.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin holders will have to pay their tax? on: August 06, 2018, 08:44:25 PM
One way or another we will end up in the situation when we should pay taxes from crypto profits, taxation will come along with the adoption.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ApplePay doesn't solve this. [US DOLLAR vs BITCOIN super simple visual] on: August 02, 2018, 08:57:24 PM
Not really deflation but 0.2*deflation + 0.8*speculation  Smiley
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs ApplePay on: August 02, 2018, 08:31:28 PM
Why not combine this two technologies rather than oppose them to each other  Wink
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: ICO's should accept more altcoins other than ETH and BTC on: August 02, 2018, 08:21:43 PM
Our stats show that accepting other currencies increase amount of money raised up to +20%
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency is a trending topic all over the world? on: August 02, 2018, 08:02:19 PM

19  Economy / Economics / Re: What language should I learn next? on: July 30, 2018, 04:42:22 PM
Japanese people would understand English while the Chinese not. This fact together with the Chinese economic growth rates makes it a more utilitarian choice

I'd like to recommend you Spanish as well, in fact, it is almost as popular as English if we refer to Native speakers (not to those who learned it)
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO]HoweyCoins: the only BitcoinTalk-endorsed ICO - GUARANTEED PROFIT on: July 30, 2018, 04:33:55 PM
