You should investigate 'buttcoin' and 'something awful', they're known bitcoin hate groups and have sabotaged the Market in the past.
Wat?!

Oh, right, this is the newbies forum...

Yeah don't forget it's the newbie forum...

Unfortunately, Mint, but I guess this make us help newbies a bit. It's not like it's hard to find 5 threads to post here.

But the time limit is more annoying... I lurked here before for weeks/months, just does not have an account.
3  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mixing Graphics Cards 4650 and 5830? on: June 13, 2011, 07:34:26 PM
Don't worry about mixing cards. I've even mixed nvidia cards before with ati cards and had no issues.

I guess at least we're only spamming here, rather than at the other forums/threads.
5  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: GPU mining rig -- How much CPU is actually required? on: June 13, 2011, 05:23:20 PM
Sempron 140 is fine and it save on power/money. You can always get better CPU later when you actually sell, depending on when you stop mining. There'll be new and better CPU you can put in, where an athlon might be useless by then.
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoins heavy price movements unfortunately show the advantages of fiat currenc on: June 13, 2011, 05:18:01 PM
Someone just moved 6.5% of all bitcoins in existence.  I don't think that any person or company has control over anywhere near 6.5% of the world's dollar market.

Someone could own that much of the dollar market, but yes this have more to do with there being much more speculators than users of bitcoin who control the majority of the fund. If everyone on the planet only trade fiat currency rather than using it as a currency, you're going to get a lot of fluctuations too.

Nice. It's one of the best mining card for the cheapest price. getting 300 mhash each atm, and not even pushing them that hard.

5 post is more reasonable. But please don't make this a start to making a worse and worse policy against newbies.
