nocare Thanks for the review on my service.  I saw that you were getting about 7% rejects so I gave you a free hour to eat those up.  I usually hover at a way lower reject than that but I just wanted to make it fair for both of us

This is a good idea, but am I the only one that thinks the price is a little high ?

4020 kh/s   0.09045 BTC  You'd be lucky to make .09 in 24 hours with 4k hash..

I am sure the prices will come down.  This site has only been up a couple days.  People right now are paying what the rig owners are putting in so I guess the price is right where the demand is right now.

Rig #34 Minecraft ---)

I just would like to let you all know I have my rig listed at 2500 kh/s but you will more than likely be higher than that.  I am on my 3rd order with no real problems so far.  If you see me up for rent give me a try and let me know what you think.  I have a constant remote connection to the rig and I work 5 minutes away so if there are any problems I can get on it and get it back going fast.

As always lets go find those diamonds  ---)

Oh nice. I spotted your rig, seemed an intelligent listing and ordered it. First time using the service.
Fancy seeing you here. haha.

Nice doing business with ya

Well so far it looks good.  Average is setting at 2.675 Mh/s right now.  we did start with a few rejects but they have worked out it looks like.  Let me know how you liked the service.  -Boneyard- #30 is ran by my room mate and we work opposite schedules so you have someone on hand at the rigs 24/7 in case of problems.

If the person renting HashMaster6 is on here ("loz"), please check your pool. CGMiner shows endless new blocks and rejections like this:

[2014-01-29 20:42:17] Stratum from pool 0 detected new block
[2014-01-29 20:42:18] Stratum from pool 0 detected new block

[2014-01-29 20:42:26] Rejected 01e6e924 Diff 34.5K/1024 BLOCK! GPU 5 pool 0 (Worker is temporarily banned

There is no reason for the worker to be banned, and you're not receiving credit for the found shares and blocks.

Also the pool's vardiff is sending difficulty 1024 work for a 0.xxxx difficulty coin which is a recipe for failure.

Me and the roommate had a chuckle at that one Smiley

Only thing I want to figure out is how to get these <Worker is not authorized> rejects to go away.  It has hurt my client and it is not a problem I could foresee when I put my miner up to be rented.

I think it would be a good idea to add a rating system for rigs as well.

After 6 hours of mining (at least thats what I would use) the renter is allowed to rate the rig 1-5 stars and put in a comment about the rig.  The rig owner should also be able to make a response on the feedback given by the renter.  I would also like the list of rigs to be sortable by Hashrate, Price Per Hashrate, and Rating for the rig.

I leased my rig for 3 hours just 5 mins after putting it on list. I guess my price was fair enough:)
Anyway good job mux. It looks like I will be one of your hash providers.

lol no that's called noobs who dont know what there getting for the price. Smiley

Dont think so. Revenue profit for 2700 kh/s is $57.38 in coinwarz, right now.
My price was 0.065 btc/day which equals $50.44. It looks fair to me.

yeah i know what coinwarz says, but in reality that's not what ya make, it doesn't take into account lower hash rate , drops, rejects. If everything is 100% perfect you MAY make that, but we all know in reality you dont.. but a noob sees that and thinks "oh good deal".

Basic ECONOMICS won't let the price be to high for long.  Basic supply and demand.  Obviously there is a demand or all those rigs would be setting there idle.

I'm assuming the op can view the hashrate of all the connected machines, which means that it should be theoretically possible for him to incorporate a way to prevent false advertising. A certain margin of error (say 5%) could be established as an acceptable range for the actual hashrate, if the hashrate falls below this, the payment to the rig operator could be prorated.  It could also be used to establish an official method for determining the stablity of a righ (kinda like a verified seller setup).
This site has stability:
http://leaserig.net/index.jsp

I will have to keep that site in mind when setting up to rent out my rig.  I hope mux gets Betarigs going but it seems that Leaserig has things a little further along.

neat idea but the price people are charging for leasing a rig is outrageous . I think they forgot the renter has to actually make money not lose it

I agree but as with anything new here in a couple days the price I am sure will even out.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BETARIGS.COM - Lease and rent mining rigs - As simple as adding a pool! on: January 28, 2014, 10:47:07 PM
WTF I rented a 2100k/s rig.
But the real hashrate is always below 1000kh/s
Can I get back my money?

What rig number did you rent I am just curious.  Also try changing the pool you are connecting it to.  I believe that Betarigs is based in EU so if the pool you are trying to connect to has a port in EU it would probably be better to send it that way.

Sorry about your bad experience just trying to help.

I rented Mining rig #88 Dragons Den with 2.8 Mh/s but pool reports only 1.2-1.3Mh/s. It's running for more than 1 hour now so it should be pretty stable but it's not :/

Although you aren't renting my rig I have to comment on this.  My rig mines at the Kh/s advertised but today when I rented it out I am getting allot more rejected than I normally see.  They are all tagged
<Worker is not authorized>

I would guess this has something to do with the way our Miners are getting forwarded to renters pools.  You could try to change the server you rented to a different pool and see if that helps.

mux it seems whoever rented my rig has it pointed at something that is getting allot of rejects <Worker not Authorized>.  I am Enfuzed on Betarigs btw.

I'll look into that, a few of you seems to get that. Now I have a pool where I can make tests.

Seems to have cleared up on its own I am not sure what it was but poor fellow ate some good rejects at the first of his mining run.

May I have your software miner software name and version please? To help me debug.

yes I am using sgminer 4.0 with the x64 Wolf release
you can find his version here https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=13190.0
also being used is CGWatcher 1.3.5
