Hello. I have a question about Bulgaria, that's why I'm posting here, I'm not Bulgarian and don't speak Bulgarian at all.

When looking about setting up a company for trading Bitcoin I found that Bulgaria could be interesting, with its low taxation. In my European country, what I want to do doesn't work, as there are so many things to pay there is no money left in the end.

So let me describe the plan, and give me your opinion if it would be feasible in Bulgaria.

It's all about arbitrage using a DEX (decentralized exchange). On a DEX you can sell crypto at a premium, and get paid using SEPA wires to a bank account. You can buy crypto without the premium using a centralized exchange, or using the DEX too.

So the company would receive money on its bank account for crypto sales, and send money to either an exchange or individual people, to buy crypto.

Do you think it's possible to set up a company to do that in Bulgaria ? There would be no KYC, except the customers use their bank accounts so their identity isn't secret.

Is it possible for a company to sell crypto without VAT, I think it's considered a currency so should be possible ?

What is very important is that the real earnings are taxed. Let's say the premium without fees etc. is 5%, and the company sells 200 000€ a year, that would mean it bought that crypto for 190 476€ and earned 9524€. 9524 € need to be taxed, not 200 000€.

Tell me what you think and feel free to use the strategy, I already do it with my personal bank accounts but it's not sustainable.

You can answer in Bulgarian, I'll use Google Translate.

thanks

Short answer yes.

key points:
- The corporate income tax is 10%. It is a flat tax.
- The tax rate on dividends is 5%.
- The company has to be VAT registered.
- Crypto is VAT free
- The company's bank account has to be abroad, Bulgarian banks are not crypto friendly

About the KYC, I'm not sure

Great refresh on the dashboard. Much easier for overclocking and all the info is on one page!

First off fantastic OS. mmpOS was so simple to setup my two rigs with seven total Vega 56's.

Now my question is there any way to remotely examine the log files on the rigs remotely?

I have looked everywhere on the miner management screen (Dashboard, Rigs, etc) but I cannot see any options to examine the actual logs on the rigs themselves.

+1
It's very hard to diagnose which card is not stable if the system restarts randomly. Yes, you can SSH into it, but still. And watchdog.log location too Smiley

Yep, that and p2pool were the way to go. And given that other pools "vanished" along the way *grumble* with coin balances it was nice to get paid for work done.

Miss it, slush is a fine pool, just isn't quite the same.
Slush skips block transaction verification and mines empty blocks.

As for coinbase payout: you still have to wait the full 101 confirms (over 16hrs) - a pool that sends the payout at that point may only add a few more confirms (less than an hour) or even only one confirm (average 10 minutes)
But ... some new miners don't support it since it's a MUCH bigger coinbase transaction
obviously that also means a much larger work size being sent from the pool to the miner.
Block distribution is now highly optimised - but it can never optimise the coinbase transaction since it will ALWAYS be an unknown transaction that needs to be sent with the block header, thus if you make it large, you're slowing down the block distribution.
Also, as is very well known, this pool had a very high orphan rate - around 3% compared to around 1% for most pools back then.

The wait was never a big deal, but I've never thought about the block header, you are absolutely correct. Anyway it was nice to have the mining symbol in your core wallet, still own some unspent coinbase inputs  Grin

Wake me up at $50k  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Decided I'm not making a principled sell @ $50k USD/BTC. Going to wait until we actually decide to start building on the land, at which point, BTC should be way higher than $50k USD/BTC.

In theory, anyway.

Same here, cancelling the $50k sell orders, moving over to ~$75k. Sorry guys, you're late! You didn't try hard enough to grab my coins!  Wink

Exactly "grab your coins"!!! If you've been long enough around here you should know that everything else you can have, but bitcoin is limited, ask Musk he knows best.
I guess when Tesla can be bought with bitcoin he will just accomulate.

Roll Eyes

(Sofia crypto meetup)

Good proposal and you can achieve that in a years time if the proposal is accepted Tongue Grin.
Spend some time and you will achieve those if you are really looking forward to get your promotion.

Some will achieve the rank by contributing to the forum while some other will achieve it by contributing half of what the Legendary did? I think that will be disrespect towards the real Legendary who will achieve by following forum requirements.

As I'm running a forum myself I see the point here, and you both are probably right that it will be more "fair" and good for the community as a whole when ppl are contributing with ideas and opinion on topics here.
14  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: December 26, 2020, 10:02:33 PM
Also, I don't get why Legendary should be within a range of numbers. Isn't this a little unfair?

I don't see what's unfair about it since there are no advantages (besides the colored coin) that come with the membership. I think that a bit of suspense can be fun Tongue

I have a proposal:
Hero member with 10yrs membership == Legendary  Grin

As the rank states, no need to prove anything, or ask for merit... real legend never does Wink

Who in his right mind would sell below $100k?

2021 will see oodles of fiat printing and unorthodox measures to keep the wreck afloat. Bullish bullish bullish.

Absolutely,
only (very)brave and reckless ppl are trying to short now. So for the rest of us HODL

Even though I'm not into mining anymore I've tested the platform on my old rig since windows was driving me nuts.... and yes, it's really good.
Very user-friendly setup, nice interface and very easy communication with the devs
