I hope the new developers can get some activity going. I can't lie. If it does happen, I'm dumping and putting what little I get into Potcoin.

There is no catching that coin at this point.

Well, I guess it looks like PotCoin won the war. All the other drug/weed coins aren't even close to PotCoin. I doubt a new one comes in and does much of anything. Wow. I really thought DopeCoin was going to give PotCoin a run. I'm still keeping my Dopecoins just in case a miracle happens around here.

Let's wake the coin up. $11,000 and $16 of activity. 

Both developers and communities WERE great. That's why I believed in both Potcoin and Dopecoin. After 4/20, things just went to crap. There was a pump of both coins on 4/20. Potcoin survived. Maybe Dopey cashed out with the pump.

In any event, it's clearly up to the community to take charge.

Maybe it will be pumped like Potcoin, but Potcoin has been up for like a week now. The developer has been active. Dopey was very active. When it came to activity, he was right up there with the Potcoin team. Now the Twitter hasn't even been updated in almost two months. Dopecoin Reddit is dead compared to Potcoin's Reddit.

To be fair, Dopey has done more than his share of work. It may be time for the community to move the coin forward. This all can't fall on the developer.

I still believe in both coins(I'm holding all my coins), but Dopecoin only has a cap of $22,000 and like $100 worth of activity.

I said weeks ago that this coin needed an active developer(s). Other coins have developers who are making POS apps, Android wallets, and other things. This coin could have really capitalized on the 'regional coin' trend. The coin has no active developers nor does it have anything on social media.

Getting a coin on an exchange doesn't help. That's where alts go to die. The coin needs to serve a purpose and then value follows. Without an active developer(s), the coin is doomed.

Nice work with the Poker game. A combination of characters would be nice.

If that's the case, people are crazy. I think the developers for both coins are doing great things for their respective coins. Both coins will be successful(like BTC and LTC have been). Now's the time to scoop up cheap Dopecoins.

It's not too late to jump in on PotCoin. The coin is only a couple of months old and hasn't even taken off yet. It's growing slowly. This isn't your typical alt pump-and-dump coin.

They have KYC in place and have to do so. The processors turn bitcoin into fiat on the fly. They can't deal with these marijuana places due to federal law. The problem is the government puts it on financial institutions to KYC and be the first line of defense against money laundering. Institutions would rather play it safe than risk the wrath of the federal government.

It's going to be interesting how this plays out, but it definitely leaves a big market for Potcoin. Larger operations won't want to risk messing up a bitcoin account, a smaller operation might risk dealing with Potcoin. Bitcoin processors aren't going to deal with the marijuana industry. So who will? Enter Potcoin. Once everything gets figured out, Potcoin will be huge. This coin came around at the right time to be huge.

No we don't. Let them pick other coins for whales to pump and dump. Potcoin is slowly building itself up. Value will come naturally.

This coin's developer is too inactive for the coin to succeed. If a person who just finds out about the coin Googles it, they get a virtually dead Twitter and Facebook. They get to look at a bitcointalk community with an absent developer.

How can a developer be so absent when country/region coins are getting so much attention lately?

And the coin's Twitter page can't be so dead. It's been four days since the last update. Can the official Twitter just be passed to someone who has time to promote the coin? It's obvious that the original developer doesn't have time to be as active as needed. First it was Auroacoin, and then it was Spaincoin. New country/region specific coins will keep passing up Ekrona if we don't get the word out. An active social media presence would help a lot.

I agree. But most people just want to dump coins for a quick profit. I'm holding mine long term and don't care about exchanges. I've been promoting the coin to groups trying to change the laws. I've also been promoting to people who use marijuana. This is not your average alt coin. It has a purpose. Let's work on the purpose and the price increase will follow. Promote, promote, and promote.
