- AM donīt stop the miner - click stop, AM stop showing the console, but if i connect to the Rig - Rigelminer is still running (only tested with windows at the moment)
I can confirm this, but on Windows 10 only. It is ok on Windows 11. It appears that Rigel is using a standard CMD window on Windows 10, but is using Windows Terminal on Windows 11. ...jim Thanks for the report. Can you please check the configuration in the Options dialog, Mining Settings section, "Use Ctrl+C event for closing mining process". Is this one enabled or disabled when you run into this problem? Update: I was able to reproduce this when running with Administrator privileges. Rigel starts two processes. When not running as Administrator, both close down correctly when you stop via Awesome Miner. However, when the mining process has been started as Administrator, only one of the two Rigel processes are terminated. For this reason, the Rigel mining continues to run. I will investigate possible solutions here. "Use Ctrl+C event" is NOT enabled. On my Win10 PC I went to the Windows Store and installed Windows Terminal. Didn't seem to make any difference. I set up an override to not start Rigel with admin privileges and it it worked just fine. Of course, would prefer a solution that does not require that override. I will patiently await your solution. Again, it is working just fine on Win11. Thanks, ...jim There is a possible solution for this in the new development release v9.8.5. It is now sort of working. On both Win10 and Win11, it sometimes successfully stops the miner, but sometimes does not. I am running all miners with Administrator privileges. ...jim Thanks for the update. It will make another attempt to solve this in the next release of Awesome Miner. It's basically about trying to terminate all rigel processes in case they are left running after sending the signal to close in a nice manner. Awesome Miner always do this - but rigel uses two processes which makes the scenario as bit different. In case you run into this again, can you please use the Windows task manager to confirm that it's possible to manually terminate the process. I'm not currently using Rigel due to this issue. However, when I was using before finding the issue, I was able to terminate the left over Rigel process using the Task Manager. ...jim

Thanks for the feedback Jim. Your Awesome Miner will soon pick up the Nicehash Kaspa pool and list it.
Got it. Thanks! Bit of an issue though, could not benchmark it initially. It would run fine with manually entered hashrate and power without a benchmark using this command line: C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\AwesomeMiner\gminer_3_12_windows64_1\miner.exe --opencl 0 -a kas -s kheavyhash.auto.nicehash.com -n 9200 -u [walletAddress].Desktop -p x --pers auto -w 0 --api 4028 However, according to the log, it was trying to benchmark Kaspa as a dual algorithm benchmark with daggerhashimoto using this command line: C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\AwesomeMiner\gminer_3_12_windows64_1\miner.exe --opencl 0 -a kas -d 0 -s daggerhashimoto.auto.nicehash.com -u [walletAddress].Desktop -p x --pers auto -w 0 -n 9200 --proto stratum --dalgo kas --dserver stratum+tcp://kheavyhash.auto.nicehash.com:9200 --duser [walletAddress] --dworker Desktop --dpass x --dproto stratum --api 4028 I had to re-enable Ethereum in the Profitablility -> Algorithms list, then disable it in the Managed Miners -> Managed Software -> GMiner algorithm list, then disable it again in the Profitablility -> Algorithms list. After that, it benchmarked normally using the above command line. I had never attempted to set up dual mining before, so not sure why it was trying to benchmark it that way. All of the above is FYI. ;-) Thanks, ...jim

I just tried Nicehash for the first time since their hack. (A lot has changed!) But AwesomeMiner won't display my balance. Any ideas?
Nicehash balance in Awesome Miner has not worked since Nicehash updated their API, which now requires an API Key and secret. Example code is available here: https://github.com/nicehash/rest-clients-demo...jim

The latest update of Awesome Miner doesn't work with GMiner again, the GMiner exits with an error. Is there any way to go back to previous version of Awesome Miner? Maybe there is an archive of different versions somewhere?
I don't have an answer to your questions, but just wanted to note that GMiner is chugging away nicely here. I'm on AwesomeMiner version 7.3.1 which is using GMiner version 1.96 on the CuckaToo31 algorithm... ...jim

hello, may be new feature ? on profit switching an option (a box to check) for when there is a switch of pool, just before switching the average performance for the periode will update the profile hashrate and power ? for those who have a whole profit profile by rig, it may be a sort of auto updating profile hashrate and profile power all along the mining ?
Thanks for the suggestion and there have been similar suggestions in the past as well. I agree with your point that this can be a more efficient way to keep the Profit Profiles up to date rather than doing benchmarks all the time. Patrike, Should you implement this suggestion, in addition to the check box, the ability to set a minimum time the miner has to have been running before updating the profile would be a good idea. Particularly for those algos that have quite a large hashrate spread, such as X16r. Thanks, ...jim

anyone have problems with Nicehash if mining Coockarood29 or Coockaroom29 with GMiner 1.96 ? I always get "End of file" error and connection will be closed. Looks like Nicehash not correct recognize "Grin29" algo param. I have set in AM for each algo explicit algo params name like: coockarood29 and coockaroom29 and looks like its works now.
Chugging away nicely on my Nvidia GPU rig and desktop. Using GMiner default settings. No issues noted. V1.96 provided a nice bump up in hashrate. This is for CuckaRoom29. Have not tried CuckaRood29. ...jim

Patrike,
Very minor issue... Remote Agent appears to be reporting the nVidia GPU driver version incorrectly in the Main tab, lower window, Summary.
For the local miner, it is correctly reporting the driver version as 441.66
For the remote miner, it is incorrectly reporting the driver version as 43160
I did verify the driver version on the remote system.
All the best, and Merry Christmas! ...jim

Yup, that's what I was looking for. Interesting that it does not appear to be in their "official" api v2 documentation... Thanks again, ...jim
