1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BETARIGS.COM - Lease and rent mining rigs - As simple as adding a pool! on: January 29, 2014, 10:22:16 PM
So one of my rigs died with several hours still leased and I'm not able to remotely bring it back online, I want to either credit the renter time or refund him a percentage of his rental fee.   What's the best way to make that happen?    I would rather be pro-active about hooking him up rather than waiting for a complaint.

Or perhaps if you're the one renting from me you can just PM me on here Smiley     http://www.betarigs.com/rig/134

I rented out my rig 12 hours ago, for 12 hours, but the status says, "rented - available in 1 hour".

What has gone wrong?

There was a message earlier where mux said he added an hour to all the rentals to makeup for an outage that happened that affected people mining.   Seeing as how this is ultra early adoption of his service I'm impress that I'm going to make it 24 (er 25) hours with only that hiccup.

UPDATES

First sorry to not answer individually to all the PMs and IRC requests I have -- I answer the most pressing and then I improve the service  Cheesy

So now we have:

I'm really tired, but I'm really happy  Grin

Edit: For those of you with emails problems, a quick database lookup show me ppl are confirming by mail, whatever the mail domain... but some indeed are not (~20%)... so I would say for now, try to create another account. I'll handle that as priorities come.
Excellent, just logged in and it's super helpful to see my list of rigs all in one place.    This is the exciting part of a new service launch, watching the new features fly into production.   Congrats to you on your product launch and I look forward to the next updates.

What happens if I have my rig rented and edit my rig and select to disable?  Does the current renter get booted off or does it just go to disabled after their contract ends?

I didn't want to try it and boot my renter.

It will finish the current mining action and then be marked offline.

Tossing my thoughts out, seriously cool site and I just listed 3 rigs on there.   A few observations, forgive me if they've already been made:

As a rig leaser:

List of all my rigs
Ability to mark all rigs online/offline
Allow renter to leave feedback so that people can know the good from the bad
Allow me to allocate more time to a person, ideally with a message sent to the renter.   In case something goes down I want to make good.
People that rent but don't send payment should have some sort of reliability rating, and then I can only rent to people with a reliability rating of X or higher.

As a rig renter:

Sorting of available rigs
Feedback method on person leasing rigs

Also, as a general thought, you've got no donate code on your site and I feel that after my first rental finishes I owe you a few coins Smiley
