1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: New "Thriftcoupon" & "PickerCoin" counterparty tokens are used for coupons. on: April 19, 2016, 10:30:55 PM
People are coming up to my Flea market tables & asking what is that "Bitcoin accepted here" sign about. Almost everyone who comments on the sign, has know idea what Bitcoin is. That is why my token experiment is put on hold. I think the first cryptocurrency to go mainstream will be Ethereum. Oh well, I still accept  Bitcoin at my Flea market tables. A little too limited and specific for me
but, others may find it perfect for them.
Best wishes.
Yes, this token is very specific, but I think there will be more specific tokens made by small companies as time goes on.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / New "Thriftcoupon" & "PickerCoin" counterparty tokens are used for coupons. on: March 17, 2016, 04:08:31 AM
I have created two tokens using Counterparty.io and I named them "Thriftcoupon" and "PickerCoin".

- "Thriftcoupon" will be used as coupons at my Flea market tables.
I made the ThriftCoupon tokens to accept them at my Flea Market tables. I only sell at flea markets in two New England state (the North-East states of USA). What this means is that the ThriftCoupon is worthless except for the "coupon value" at my flea market tables in MA & NH.

The Indiesquare wallet app and Tokenly pocket can be used to manage your Counterparty tokens. You can get free Thriftcoupon tokens by visiting my flea market tables in MA or NH. Follow me at Twitter to get updates on where i'm selling that weekend https://twitter.com/KeithSButler

- "PickerCoin" TBA.

I mined this coin when it first started. I lost interest because no one (that I knew) was using Badgercoin for a cool MMO game. Only gambling ones. Badgercoin would be nice to incorporate into a MMO. I don't think the developers would ever revive the Badger Sad
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Awesomecoin!!!! Launch in 2 days on: May 08, 2015, 07:19:52 PM
What about a Awesomecoin resurgence. Yes, the revival of the AWESOMEcoin. I'm in.

Is http://chunkypools.com website down? What is going on with Chunky Pools?

To the developers of Cryptex:

You did not define the purpose of Cryptex Altcoin. If the purpose is to have a fast and secure Bla bla bla, then we already have hundreds of that type of Altcoins. It's implied that it will be a secure coin.

Will Cryptex Altcoin be an in-game currency for a MMO game?

What is the purpose of this altcoin?

This altcoin could have been a good mobile app in-game cryptocurrency. The Cryptex game. Sounds F#*@ing cool to me. LOL.

The purpose of this altcoin is to not have a purpose? I'm confused!
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain - LAUNCHED! on: August 17, 2014, 03:49:52 PM
My miner was working all night on Bemining.net (nomp.bemining.net 5150) & Syscoin on the "mining stats" page had my wallet up.
Every thing was going excellent.
This morning Syscoin was not even on the "Mining Stats" Page.
When did the pool go down?
Will I get any syscoins from last night?

I should have mined PotCoin. LOL

No IPO, will know everything in time

I think I understand the purpose of this rare altcoin is. The whole project is a riddle and we have to decode it to find the real purpose of the Altcoin.
The riddle is "will know everything in time". LOL

I don't think Cryptex Altcoin is doing a IPO. I hope not, because that would raise a red flag. "Warning Will Robinson, Warning".

That can be the purpose of this rare altcoin. The price will shoot up, because of the rarity of it. Vpeer answered my question.

I stopped mining mooncoin a few months back.
I'm having some problem with http://moon.dedicatedpool.com. Can mooncoin be mined on this mining-pool any more?
I will check the dedicatedpool site more closely.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Combining an Altcoin open source code with a MMO game open source code. on: July 30, 2014, 04:57:19 PM
Combining an Altcoin open source code with a MMO game open source code seems like a natural fit. What would be easier, using exsisting source code or to write the code from scratch?

This topic is to generate a discussion, innovation and motivation, about merging Altcoins and MMO game open source code to make a complete ecosystem.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Tenebrix, a CPU-friendly, GPU-hostile cryptocurrency on: July 30, 2014, 03:53:32 PM
Is this an inactive Altcoin?
I'm surprised that programers don't merge Inactive (MMO) massively multi-player online games and Inactive Altcoins together into a cool MMO that makes you Altcoin.
This would resurrect both projects and make it a stronger product.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Where is Bitcoin in the Technology adoption lifecycle? on: July 20, 2014, 03:43:58 AM
I can't believe there was a discussion like this in 2012 while a majority of the world had not even HEARD of bitcoin, let alone adopt it.

That is why I think 2014 is still early adopters.
