1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing with your bounty tokens? on: September 13, 2018, 01:00:54 PM
Tow things I do with them.
There are some I sell immediately I was given. Holding them would be bad for me as there are dumpers. I did not have much of it, and if price should crash while holding them, bounty tokens would thus amount to airdrops, and have got enough of that.
Those that I see are promising and have got in numbers, I leave them as future investments. I am just trying in this regard, I am just start to explore these options, so, I have just few saved up for future purposes. Enough of dumping all immediately I am given, letbsave the ones with potential.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Becoming Millionaire from Altcoins? on: September 13, 2018, 12:56:55 PM
With an 8 year hold, it could be. Credit must be given to anyone who does that, though. The person must be referred to as the holding master, and should be rewarded. That's a joke. It is a two way thing, could be and could not be. It is just that anyone holding should be able to respond to market situations as they arise. What if it rises for the 1st 7 years and start showing signs of coming down in the 8th year. That is where responding to market situations come in. One may not have to wait that long before it reaches that figure, though, it is a huge one.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People say altcoins won't survive on: September 13, 2018, 12:34:00 PM
Agreed, there are lots of them out there and you do not get to see all surviving. In the same way sometimes are being mined already. It is a competition, the weakest would be eliminated and only the survival remains. What those who remain did should be done by those at the peripheral. Not all coins would survive, those that will survive have already upped their game. And talking about survival, this is not a ponzi scheme, if it were, it would have died a long term ago. And if it would, just a few coins here and there.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Panic selling! Yes or No? on: September 13, 2018, 12:30:51 PM
Watch the trend,  it has always been so. Request or no request, it will definitely come out good. No need to panic or start spreading it. What the market need now is not panic been spread around, but, people to exercise patience and ability to hold donas to cash in handsomely when the time is here. See the trend over the years, it will go low, then, ascend again. Panic selling would do you no good, only the buyer is gaining, and that is if he holds on to it or them.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC for Airdrops: A bad precedence on: September 13, 2018, 12:26:08 PM
Sadly, it is becoming the norm, and to say such has found way into airdrops now, some of them worthless and just there inside the wallet, it means this KYC of a think is going to become the trend then. If you want to do KYC, if at all, do it for coins that worth it and not coins from airdrops that would worth nothing in the long run. The submission of personal details, and here, they get to choose which they want is really really risky. It could be used against one.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is holding crypto coins as of now still profitable? on: September 12, 2018, 05:43:28 PM
It depends on your idea of profitable. If you can not hold on to it anymore, you can cash in on it and invest it into another coins. One thing I do believe is, there are coins out there with real value and could help in this kind of situations as investments. You can trade your Bitcoin or ETH for some of these coins. Just do your research on which worth it, and you are good to go. Holding on to the coins is still profitable, only that it is not so in few weeks, but,  months.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am a newb but I want to invest... any thoughts? on: September 12, 2018, 05:39:34 PM
It's a good thing you have learnt from your own mistakes, and not only that, you have put in measures to ensure they do not repeat and come to come your way again. That was a nice move from you. Now that you have decided to join Bounty work as against investing with your own m9ney in buying coins, welcome to the world of bounty hunters. Well, you were lucky you had a good coin paying you in your 1st bounty, you may not be lucky next time, so brave yourself with coins that would just decorate your wallets as they have no real market value. And this is so since you are joining the airdrops group. If you want to invest, I think you have enough info on which coin and how to go about it by now.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How long time will take to market rise ? on: September 12, 2018, 05:51:49 AM
If the experts analysis are anything to believe, and if the trend of the market could equally be banked on too, I think we are gradually entering into a period where the greens would show up again. The bleeding should stop soon. The last quarter of the year would herald in greens which should make everyone happy pretty soon. The time it is going to be no one knows, only that time frame has been given by the experts. We should see how it pans out. Patience is key in this time. Holders, especially long term holders would soon have enough to boast about. Truth be told, this market is unpredictable, hence, away from the expert analysis and market trend, people should brace up for anything. Even if it is falling prices.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties and Scam!! on: September 12, 2018, 05:45:56 AM
Almost everyone who has been here and have participated in one bounty or airdrop would have been cheated. One would devote quality time of his limited time to ensure he helps in promoting a work, and after such works that do span weeks and some 3 months, you get nothing in return. And by nothing, I equally mean where the stakes are reduced against what you were earlier promised. Even where you are rewarded, it would take months again before you get paid what you deserve. You will be hearing stories like we have thousands of wallets to fund, please give us time. And by the time you are given, price has turned to something else. We can only hope for a better tomorrow.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to invest on: September 12, 2018, 05:37:10 AM
You must have been told, or you must have read it, in fact, you should have known by now that it is not just about putting money on any coins here, it is about seeing which is worth it, which will more for if it is for the long term. In fact, investment here is all about long term ones. This is no ponzi scheme. There you could wait few days or weeks and get paid. When the idea of getting paid daily is erased, then, one can embrace this cryptocurrency. You could invest and hope to sell in 3 months time. The price could have fallen badly by then. What do you do?  You hold and wait. Learn through basics of investment then, so that if it turns out otherwise, you would be well prepared to face it.  Preparing for the best and expecting the worst thing in the same way.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long-term investment. on: September 12, 2018, 05:32:42 AM
One thing is, even outside the shores of cryptocurrency and the investment involved, businesses in the outside that involve investment thrive on long term ones. You do not get into a business and say you want to back out within 2 to 3 weeks all things being equal. With that, if what you have in mind is to make much profit on your investment as much as possible, then, long term investment it is.  People have different ways of doing it. You invest and take your eyes off it for months. Concentrate on something worth it during the time. As failure to do so could draw you to the investment and that wouldn't posit well for the investor. With long term investment, more profits are guaranteed no matter what.  It only needs patience above all.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should continue join ico? on: September 12, 2018, 05:27:36 AM
It is not easy to find ICO with a good track record, and if what you posted or said about their previous projects cum ICO are anything to go by, it does mean this could be another successful one. Just that this time around, you have to know nothing is constant, they can change,  though, I hope they do not do that because of their market reputation which would be at stake if they should. You need to know if they are still using the same team as the previous projects. I am saying that because the team would have built a kind if synergy needed to work in this environment. Changing team does not posit well. Look and research them well before you part with your hard earned money.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it my impression or media is biased towards bad news ? on: September 11, 2018, 04:24:27 PM
The age we are right now, power belong to the media. And the media we have today does not necessarily have to be professional ones or the print ones. The fact that everyone could access the internet, and write anything with few censors means anything goes. Coming to bitcoin and how it affect it. There are bloggers these days looking for traffic to their site, and for the few ones that are into cryptocurrency news et al, writing fake news about it would generate traffic for them. And when you talk of the print media, some are under the payroll of the government, hence, have to do their bidding. And so media are directed by rich men who would like rumours be spread about it and would later capitalize on the panic effect on the people and buy more. It's not you alone, been thinking about it too.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people need to use Bitcoin for Money laundering? on: September 11, 2018, 04:19:46 PM
One thing we have to get and set straight is the fact that governments are not particularly out to destroy Bitcoin or they are against it per se, what they are against is the money laundering which could be tagged as corruption and the terrorist activities is could help finance without anyone knowing or tracing the payment methods owing to its decentralized and volatile nature. With that, Bitcoin would be used to laud public funds. With other national currency, you CAN actually do it without being found out at first, however, if honest persons are in place, with time, the person could be fished out. It's not really the same with Bitcoin. Once laundered, it's gone.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why government announce bitcoin is illegal? on: September 11, 2018, 04:07:43 PM
There are reasons as to why government deemed it illegal, or, let us not say all governments because we have some that have come to embraced it and are thus using it as a tool to make something out of their battered economy. To such governments who are in the minority, Bitcoin is not illegal, but to governments who I think have a booming economy and have no reasons to use Bitcoin has a tool for economic recovery, Bitcoin is. And they have reached that conclusion largely to the volatile nature of Bitcoin which could make money laundering easier and wouldn't be traced.  One can not neglect the threat posed by these terrorist organization, with Bitcoin and its payment methods, you can't really trace how these lads are funded. And I think governments want to stop this money flow.

19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin uses too much energy? on: August 29, 2018, 10:33:48 PM
Too much energy?  Well, over to the team of scientists and researchers in that regard. When you factor in the electricity involved I'm transactions alone, you'll know it does make for an awful read concerning that electricity news.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which are the most influential Bitcoin market by country? on: August 29, 2018, 10:31:02 PM
Just give it to the Asian countries like China and Japan. Even with the recent restrictions or clamp down on ICO and crypto related activities in China, it still retain a large followership there. The most influential to me is the Asian countries of China and Japan.
