1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinurl.com SCAM on: October 07, 2018, 04:20:11 AM
I got burned on this one too.  Pfft.  It was a decent moneymaking idea / business plan.  It's a shame they disappeared.

Thank you for building such an awesome tool, and not ripping me off when using it.  Works so well that I built a subdomain that auto-redirects to my affiliate code: dig.glencooper.com.  I recommend it to all of my crypto friends.
3  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CryptoDao Scam! - CryptoDao.Com SCAM !!! on: November 19, 2017, 09:04:28 AM
This one scammed me too.  Shame on me for losing anything to it.

My own personal notes on this:  (see http://timestamps.glencooper.com/ for the format I use)

20171119T0818Z: able to log in.  Still had 0.00231050 BTC in there.
20171119T0836Z: very bad feeling about this exchange.  Trying to withdraw and it's difficult; no MAX option.  Bad english on error messages ("Currency not enough").
20171119T0847Z: wrestled with the withdraw.  Couldn't get it to accept the google authenticator code.  FUCKING RIPOFF!

Hello World.

My wiki usename is 1GLENCo.  I noticed a typo in the wiki that I wanted to edit.  I was shocked that I never joined the wiki before now.  Better late than never.  I can/will pay an anti-spam fee if needed.  To say I'm a bitcoin enthusiast would be an understatement.  Plus, I'd have a hard time removing my only tattoo: tattoo.glencooper.com.

Thanks,

Yay, their site is back up again now!

8  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CoinRx.com launches next generation online pharmacy with Bitcoin-only payments on: November 10, 2014, 10:11:23 AM
I was just about to submit an order and saw the site go POOF... now showing "This domain is parked" page.  That's too bad.  I have ordered from this site before and it always went very smooth.  Hopefully they're just doing maintenance or something... my meds are about to run out, need to re-up.

9  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: 24change.com - Buy/Sell Bitcoin, Paymer, BTC-E code, PM, Okpay, Paypal, Egopay on: December 18, 2013, 06:29:48 PM
I just tried 24change.com for the first time.  I'm trying to convert BTC to Mastercard USD.  I've submitted the order.  Their tracking system says the order is complete.  No sign of the funds yet on my end however.  I'll try to remember to post a follow-up with details about how long it took to receive the funds.

Just heard about FastCoin on front page of yahoo today.  Currently setting up a wallet on it to test it out.  Would love to have some free fastcoins!  Thanks.

I've never tried satoshicircle until just tonight after reading this post.  I tried sending a 0.025 BTC deposit to my personal deposit address but it has yet to show up where I can play the circle with it.  The transaction already has 20+ confirmations;

Anyone else having problems with their deposits not showing up?

Same here.  Wish I'd thought to check if the site was up before I sent my 0.05 BTC.  Hope they come back up, I love bitzino!

Confirmed that it's back up again now.  My funds are safe (whew!), and I also did receive a comp (0.01 BTC).  Many thanks.

15  Economy / Gambling / Re: bitZino - Bitcoin Casino - 10 million hands played! on: April 23, 2013, 11:39:41 PM
bitzino.com is currently down / offline.  It went down just after I sent a large deposit and started playing with it.  Hopefully I didn't lose all of my bitcoins???

16  Economy / Service Discussion / blockchain.info site offline? on: March 08, 2013, 09:58:04 PM
Right now the blockchain.info site is offline entirely.  Here's what I saw before it went down;

17  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info - Bitcoin Block explorer & Currency Statistics on: March 08, 2013, 08:21:52 PM
He can he has and he will, that's why if you use blockchain.info and have backups of its encrypted wallets, you better backup the whole repo's zip archive off github or at least the part the lets you decrypt the wallet.

There are several wallets that can import the Blockchain.info encrypted backup files, so you don't need to back up the entire site.  Fortunately, as otherwise noone would be using the site.

Could you point me in the direction for those other several wallets?  I have my blockchain.info wallet backups, but now that their service is offline (for upgrading from Mac Mini to Dell server) I really need to move some funds quickly.

Warning to anyone dumb enough to still be mining with bitclockers.com; I'm unable to withdraw my accumulated BTC using their dashboard.  There are a bunch of people posting in bitclockers.com/forums with the same complaint.  No response from bitclockers admins.

How to enter multiple pools from the command line?

Here's my shortcut that launches it upon startup (win7):
C:\cgminer\cgminer.exe -o http://pool.bitclockers.com:8332 -u MyPoolUsername1 -p MyPoolPassword1 -o http://mtred.com:8337 -u MyPoolUsername2 -p MyPoolPassword2 --load-balance

Hope that helps...
