Well, looks like $NIX did all right in the HoardInvest vote.
We'd pulled ahead for quite a bit but, still, made it in as a winner even though we weren't tops.

One thing I think is not promoted strongly enough is that $NIX isn't simply a privacy coin. It's a privacy platform. Privatizing your BTC and pretty much every altcoin or token transaction. And that's just in crypto. What kind of DAPPS are going to be built on NIX that move into the privatization of data realm. It really is an exciting project. I'm all in on NIX cuz NIX is IT, BABY! |

For those asking about staking rewards.
I've just under 11,100 $NIX staked.
I'm getting around 4 $NIX/day from the 10,000 that gets split into two 5000 stakes for what ever reason.
And the remainder gives me another 2 $NIX every few days.
Roughly.
So far, in a week, I've earned 70 $NIX through staking.
But when it started it was really rewarding people.
I received something like 24 $NIX in one day.
But it's now settled down to the rate mentioned above.

and what happened to the application with BINANCE it was saying in progress and now its gone from the websait .(((( Is it going to be one of them , "we want no publicity again " ?

Exciting that proof of stake has gone live. Supply shoukd dry up over the next few weeks
Yup. Gonna make it tougher to get a GN accumulated. Got my first taste of staking. Have 11013 NIX and received 16 since activating staking yesterday afternoon. That's high, of course. Was expecting 2 or 3. Once more people stake we'll see what happens. |

Serious question: NIX is basically providing what the Komodo platform has already had for almost a year except NIX is missing the security of the bitcoin hash rate that KMD enjoys? My question to the community. Why would I invest in NIX if larger communities that engineered and pioneered this technology already exist and are constantly adding new value to their communities currency and platform? Competition is definitely a great benefit to the overall ecosystem but at some point the extreme diversity becomes a money grab with ever increasing diluted efforts. I ask "Why NIX. Why is it valued now"? <someone fill in this blank, thank you> Keep in mind we can achieve private atomic swaps today without counter-party risk using HyperDEX on the komodo platform: https://github.com/atomiclabs/hyperdex/releaseshttps://komodoplatform.com/latest-news/Nix isn't looking to build a DEX it's looking to empower all the dex's without privacy features and allow trading between them and that's just a small part of what Nix is looking to do. With Nix privacy is at the forefront. If you come on the discord people from the team will answer any questions in more thorough detail but this isn't just a cash grab they could of done an ico if that was the case. They are looking at actually helping the space and have no big investors that would likely have a say in the way the project goes like an ico likely would. Yeah, I think that's the BIG difference between our $NIX and Komodo. Just a cursory look through their site and info and it appears they have a solid DEX ready to go. But NIX isn't about building a DEX. NIX is about connecting ALL DEXs! A bit of a difference there. And there doesn't appear to be any reason why they can't mesh together nicely. The crypto space is ready for a lot more than just A & B or black & white. I really think $NIX is going to be one of those unifying platforms that brings all of these other excellent cryptos, platforms and DEXs together! |

Now it's clear why people have recognized the value of the project. At least it looks like they have. But some of it's due to it being a really useful idea that can have global implications.
Yup! $NIX is long term. I wish I had my chunk of fiat coming in soon right now! I'd be able to top up to a full GN while the price is still cheap! Still, I'll take what I have and hodl, Hodl, HODL! $NIX is gonna be something we smile about 5+ years down the road when people say they WISH they'd been where we are now! |

I can’t forecast what will happen with this market, but I know that in next several years they will come much more organized.
Yup. Although I think the moonshot end of 2017 has spoiled a LOT of people. All we hear is "when moon?" and "lambo time!" FFS, friends. $NIX is long term. There likey won't be a sudden moon like that again. Ever. Last year was an outlier. But rest assured, crypto is here to stay. This is the shaking out period. Getting those kinks and knots and bullshit worked out so only the strong and useful survive. And $NIX is definitely one of those strong and useful crypto platforms. But it'll be years before it bears impressive fruit. I figure 2 years to really get going and then another 3 to 5 years to make people who aren't where you and I are today wish like hell they had been! We're here and we are gonna make a f*ckton of money but it's gonna take time. Patience, friends. Patience. |

August was the period, as I remember..
From what I understand there are actually two (2) broadcasts that will look at $NIX The one we knew about was, I believe, with CNBC and that one will be awhile until it reaches air. 6+ weeks, at least? The other is Rob Lowe's program called On Demand. Yeah, THAT Rob Lowe, from Parks & Rec and that med show that just got cancelled, much to my wife's chagrin. She LOVED Code Black. Unsure when that one will be broadcast. Good day to hear details.. Rob Lowe is no fun, nor is CNBC broadcasting. Both will have it`s say, meanwhile team is up to date for promised items of roadmap. Switching POS was a smart decision as well. Flexibility/adaptability is what made homo sapiens dominant.. Rob Lowe is no fun?!?!?!? You take that back. NOW! hehe. Kidding! Lots of cool stuff coming. And as things get more exciting the FUDsters come out of the woodwork. Peddling their bullshit. You don't like NIX? Fine. But piss off with your FUD and don't come back. |
