1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin’s Next Peak May ‘Only’ Be $80,000, Says Analyst on: February 16, 2020, 10:44:42 PM
I don't know. I know I hear a lot about Bitcoin going to $100,000, but that requires a lot of new people to start buying crypto, and a lot of those people were burned when it hit $20,000. People doing things like selling their houses.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Thoughts on my portfolio please on: January 11, 2020, 10:41:08 PM
I'm really curious as to why you have GAS but no Neo, as the two go together. You need GAS to send Neo, so the more active Neo is in terms of transaction, the more GAS is needed.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHAT HAPPENS IF BTC TOUCHES 100K ? on: January 01, 2020, 06:34:40 PM
There would be a big media frenzy, people will be looking to come in, buy up bitcoin and other alt coins, giving most of them a rise. That's my opinion, but I feel it's the most logical one.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is in mind of those, who against vaccination? on: December 22, 2019, 02:53:45 AM
They are distrusting of the government, pretty much. And usually they were convinced by some stats, that were probably made up about the government trying to poison people through vaccination.

Such a coin would had been great in the 90s, before all the internet movies that is so easily available. I would of downloaded the PDF in a second.

So this is going to exclusive to the Middle East?

Yes for the first step, but we would make a good services too for all country in the next plan  Smiley

Why start only in the Middle East and not worldwide. Not criticism or anything, just curious. In fact it even makes it sound a little more legit, because if it wasn't, a scammer would not limit things to one area.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRON SCAM: TRUTH OR FUD...WHAT'S YOUR TAKE? on: May 26, 2019, 01:56:22 AM
Didn't Tron plagiarized parts of their whitepaper? That seemed kind of scammy to me.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sirius A New Smart Chain Freely Distributed on: August 16, 2018, 06:44:29 PM
As long as there are progress, for what concern me doesn't really matter if the updates are reported here or not. By following the slack channel or github you can easily be up to date  Smiley

People start discussing updates here even as soon as the dev mentions them in slack. It doesn't matter where they are reported because supporters rapidly start discussing them in all Sirius's social media channels.

Discussion is one thing, but it's time for actual updates in development. There needs to be some progress soon.

That in the end is what matte, but I'm not sure there will be any soon, there is a lot of work to do and the project basically just started.

Which to some degree is normal then that things take time to progress, but the market is moving so fast that no time should be lost.

Timing is everything, and I wonder what the best time for major announcement is. I'm kind of glad that Sirius has been quiet since January and that the Devs have taken their time in this market. If everything was done and we were on multiple exchanges back in January, then the market would had destroyed the coin. I assume. I rather the team just focus on coding for now, since it really doesn't matter. No need to rush anything in this market.

I don't really like the point of view that the market destroyed the coin. The fact is that most coins just don't have anything to offer and that is why everything went down in value.

I didn't say that the market destroyed the coin. Rather that I think that the the worst time to release any coin was in the December - February period. With Bitcoin at an all time high and then getting dumped, the price of a coin launched during that time is going to take a major hit. It one invested in an ICO that raised 50 millions, or 2 millions, the price for those coins is going to tank. So that's

11  Economy / Economics / Re: How did Crypto help you out? on: August 09, 2018, 09:05:16 PM
It has helped me out some what financially, but I think it has kind of lowered my quality of life due to the intense stress that one can get from this. When you get into this, its hard to proceed without making major mistakes that costs you a lot. There's almost no avoiding it. And it can be rather devastating.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HOWL | Signature Campaign Open | Mobile Social Application | No ICO on: August 06, 2018, 10:11:15 PM
Hi here,

To be fully transparent, we have uncertainty related to operate a swap with Howl tokens.

Currently, we are analyzing a project and building a team. I'm proud of what we achieved.
Relating to Howl, we have identified issues. These aspects have been discussed by all the team (howl holders and news members).

1/ Howl project: After weeks of work, our vision of the project we are working on is no longer focus on a chat app. As all projects, the initial idea is different from the final product.
We have great other ideas to develop and the chat feature is no longer considered as a priority. Since the project is different, we don't think we would use Howl brand. Howl is focus on chat app.

2/ Some new devs we contacted are not comfortable to work on the project because the story behind howl is complex, as you know. Even if we are not related to old dev who disappears, use the Howl name = be part of the history.

3/ Old dev tokens: For a proper token swap, we need to exclude old dev tokens. We have identified some addresses but we can't be sure he owns others and he could find a way to take part of the swap. It's a risk to take.

4/ Legal aspects: The old devs has intellectual property for howl project : logo, design, idea,.... If our project succeeds, there is a possibility he claims something. It's a second  risk to take.

5/ The project is at early stage, no one has traded current HOWL since we said we are working on a project, as we adviced. So we are peaceful for this.

We added risks and profits and we think for the new project we think about it will be better to not use HOWL brand and not operate a swap in order to start on good bases. We want to warn you about this, even if we are not ready to communicate about our new project.

Thank you.

A lot of users volunteered time and effort into this project. The logo was designed and created by a member name, whose name I cannot remember at the moment. It was a cool logo, so if you're going to create a new project from scratch, use the old logo. The old dev does not have any rights over it. Nor the name Howl.
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading or mining? on: August 02, 2018, 09:22:49 PM
I used to mine back in late 2013, 2014, and what I found is that it could be a waste of time and extreme effort, because putting all the money spent on the equipment into a promising coin, can give you much, much, much more return. But we’re in a different era now, so I suggest doing a little mining, and investing.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More and more airdrop is a lie, on: July 30, 2018, 09:18:33 PM
Most air drops have been absolutely horrible, especially in 2017. I remember all those e airdrop. Like e-btc, e-ltc, e-eth. But that doesn't mean that there might be one that is legit. You just never know. Just have to use your brain about it to know if it's worth your time.

Look at Nem. Of course the chances of finding another Nem is zero to none.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Does engaging with bitcoins put you at risk? on: July 23, 2018, 11:03:42 PM
I thought this was going to be about a security risk. As in your safety. And I wanted to say that with the way cryptos work, with private key giving you access to your funds and all, I often think that it can be forcefully taken away from you, and you won't be able to get it back. So I try to be careful with the people in my daily life.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Does money make you rich? on: July 13, 2018, 02:45:10 AM
For the vast majority of people money solves a lot of problem, and getting more will improve their quality of life.

Where that might not be the case is when a person is born rich, and so doesn't have the perspective of not having money.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coins with price lower price has more chances to moon? on: July 10, 2018, 01:16:32 AM
A coin with a total supply in the billions will never reach the price per coin of eth. So I think your friends are being newbies.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When did you bought bitcoin? on: July 04, 2018, 02:35:40 AM
I first bought Bitcoin in late 2013, after it was crashing. Just wish I bough an insane amount of them.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Becoming wealthy and social responsibility on: July 01, 2018, 11:49:40 PM
I would help those who I think are good and of kind heart. I wouldn't just blindly donate to a group, when I can change the life of someone who will do good.

which pool is recommended for mining this coin???

Personally I use www.zergpool.com

They have  PRiV pool but im currently mining PRiV with my S9 using their autotrader feature.

I have my S9 set to mine whatever is most profitable sha256 coin at the moment through their website features, then get payouts in PRiV.

It's a very neat website and pool and you can point any type of miner to get payouts in PRiV.

If you browse through this thread you will find links to other PRiV mining pools.
And how do you mine this? Is it profitable to mine with a GPU?

Depends how many GPU you have Smiley

GPU.. or almost any ASIC can that uses ANY ALGO can be autotraded to PRiV mining via zerg pool.

As long as they support the algorthim on their pool, you can auto mine that algo with your machine and have it be transferred to PRiV, or you can mine PRiV directly.

I think its highly profittable as I forsee the price to greatly rise in the future Smiley

I'm going to check it put. Though right now my GPU is a 750ti. I've been looking to upgrade, but the prices are outrageous.
