Just no volume on flappycoin... Sold @4 and not buying back. Moved over to cagecoin, nice volume on mintpal and ready to break out for a run up!
Yo dawg, my opinion is flappycoin has no value, so I'm gonna post here saying I sold my coins and moved onto a different coin, to potentially lower the value more. Fk logic. I have only a R9 270X, if I were to sell all the coins I mined since 2/15, I'd make 34$. Considering how much BTC dropped in price since I started, that is pretty good for me and I am in no way a expert with this stuff. 34$ in 11 days just for leaving my computer on. If that is considered bad then some people are just greedy/ungrateful as hell. Edit: Oh and btw, if the price of flappycoin were to raise by just ONE satoshi, that is +15$ for those 11 days. Considering how it was 9 satoshi at one time and it is still in infancy, your loss. lol... You're measly $34 worth of coin won't do anything to the market, flap I'll buy your coins now at 3 satoshi. Leave the trading to the professionals, and believe in what you invested in, even at these micro values. If you're basing your decisions on reading price charts on a small exchange, or on every post from these troll threads, then you deserve to make very little and lose money from your electric bill. You said it yourself that there's no volume with FLAP. There was never any significant support at 9 satoshi, heck even 8 satoshi's was non-existent. But you're basing your investment on some error's in judgment, and then trolling the threads for support? Go home to your grandma, boy. As I said, single 270X. And likewise, your measly IQ and inability to read won't get you anywhere. I won't be losing anything from electricity, because I have common sense, which you seem to lack. There was enough info there to even show I wouldn't lose anything from electricity, without even trying to make that a point, that's how stupid of a troll you are. Sounds like a bunch of people are mad at the big community flappycoin has and are bringing their worthless opinions to this thread. I rarely even check this stuff so by all means, cry in this thread about how greedy you are and how flappycoin will fail, I don't think anyone that is pro-flappycoin, has a carecup

I came to post the same thing. Luckily you guys helped me get my coins off that lame site flappy.miningwith.us and I dumped my coins when I woke up, I lost basically nothing. That's messed up

In your wallet go to Help > Debug Window. Choose console tab and then add each address "addr" in the post as a node
e.g. type in:
addnode 76.102.254.213:11556 add
Do that for all of the addr and wait a few mins and it should sync
Thanks for the info, I went ahead and did that, hopefully it works but if not, I still appreciate it Add the following lines in your .conf addnode=109.145.37.109:11556 addnode=213.114.129.89:11556 addnode=173.51.180.254:11556 addnode=137.226.148.87:11556 addnode=78.90.137.167:11556 addnode=65.29.223.85:11556 addnode=99.241.74.216:11556 addnode=72.91.197.65:11556
Of course, you will need to close the wallet before you do that. Make sure it isn't running by checking your systray and Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc). After you edit the .conf, start the wallet again and wait a few minutes. If the problem persists, post here. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Well I don't even have a flappycoin.conf now, because the OP said I didn't need it. But it still doesn't seem to connect, I did all the 'addnode' stuff too. At least I know its nothing to do with my router because my laptop works fine with the wallet. Edit: It finally works! Wow that took a lot of trying of different things lol. Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it. I hope it may help others too

I wish I had any idea what to do with that lol

So I got tired of waiting since I don't like having my coins sitting on a website for so long, I went ahead and downloaded the wallet on my laptop to see what would happen. Well, it worked. Started syncing in probably less than 5 minutes. Hopefully I can just copy that wallet and the other folders and it will work on my PC. I was gonna try using a virtual machine, but I didn't feel like canceling mining and restarting my PC lol. Thanks for all the help though, maybe its just a Windows 8 problem. I like Windows 8 though
It's not Windows 8, I'm running 8 and 8.1 Did you try deleting your peer.dat file before starting the new wallet? Also remove any addnode entries in your flappycoin.conf I've deleted all of the flappycoin files and started fresh for 1.0.0.1 and 1.0.0.2, since I never could connect to it in the first place so I didn't have to back anything up. Well I have a up to date wallet on my PC, but it still won't connect, so it's pretty much useless haha. I guess I will just create a symbolic link from my dropbox to roaming/flappycoin folder so I don't have to do much besides turn the laptop on

So I tried everything to get this working and am just gonna let the wallet do its own thing for 1-2 days. But I have a question, in the Settings > Network, do you have 'Connect through SOCKS proxy' enabled? I think I enabled it since my wallet wasn't working, just to try different things. But now I can't even disable it, even if I deleted all the flappy files lol
Try download the new wallet version 1.0.0.2 with DNSPatched. And delete everything in this folder, except your wallet.dat %APPDATA%\Flappycoin Nice, I didn't see there was a new 1.0.0.2 version, thanks for the info. Should I also add the flappy.conf, or does this one not need it? This version won't need it, just give the wallet a few minutes to start syncing Thanks for the info again. Well I haven't been keeping track of how long I let it do its thing, but suppose it still doesn't update, is there something I should try on my end? Like unblock some ports or something? I let it through my firewall and everything, I hope its not due to Windows 8.1 haha Well I had hoped this wouldn't happen, but after about 4-5 hours, my wallet still hasn't synced at all even with the new DNS patched 1.0.0.2. Gonna disable the antivirus for a hour and see what happens - using Avast

I am still suffering desynchronization ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) qt 1.0.0.1 devs, can you help? My conf file is named correctly. flappycoin.conf now it contains: rpcuser=flappy rpcpassword=mario daemon=1 server=1 listen=1 rpcport=11555

I added nodes as Op say ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) (at the end we can see them) When I typed them manually in debug - seems like qt saw it in conf file and say that already added. firewall is not holding. Even if I switch off AVG, nothing changes. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) maybe can you share torrent to latest blockchain? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) or something ... I need it syncronized! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) So want to use my Flappies ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Not sure if you solved this yet, but it took me a while to get mine synced too. The big thing for me, was time! As long as you have the conf file, and your firewall is allowing it, it should work. Leave it open for an hour or so, and see if it eventually connects, it'll try each node multiple times until it does. I left mine open, and left my PC for a couple hours, came back to a fully synced wallet. Left mine running over night 9and some hours before) with the edited config file to add all those nodes, still nothing here. Downloaded 1.0.0.2, still isn't updating, gonna leave it go while I am at work. Same here. Not synchronizing at all after 8 hours of qt running Added : My flappy qt is working now ... It just start working. Just like that. I just run it and it starts synchronizing... Strange for me as I am IT engineer ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I hope this problem will never come back. regards! Yeah I finished school for computer networking. I even went as far as to use ccleaner to check the registry and delete any old cache that could be interfering. Still nothing. I guess I'll just let it keep doing its thing if yours randomly started working. Thanks for the info

I just copy it, paste into mine and save. relaunch qt. Still desynchronized and no connection. Same problem, there is nothing to do wrong but it still won't work haha Click help -> Debug Windows Click on the console tab Type these commands: addnode 67.160.69.168 add addnode 67.172.183.106 add addnode 72.24.25.36 add addnode 54.244.115.206 add Thanks for the input, but this too didn't help. I deleted all the flappycoin files from appdata/roaming and downloaded flappycoin wallet again, but I still have the same problem, I can't get it to sync at all

I've tried a bunch of things but I can't seem to get my flappycoin wallet to update. I downloaded the flappy.conf, renamed it to flappycoin, that didn't work. Searched around, edited the text file to include other users edits with the nodes and it still didn't work. Also, it is placed inside of the appdata/roaming/flappycoin folder. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks
