Yes my window looks just like that to, only thing is...when you look at your device manager after changing the drivers, it pulls it out of the com ports, changes the device to something else, and yet my miners will still not get detected by that CGminer (the one supplied by bitmain) it sees no USB hardware period.

I'm hoping someone can help me with the hardware errors to, passing the USB devices to the VM works nice for the erupters but not with Antminer, my screen shot is picture proof that Antminer U1's can't deliver. To me there is no excuse to have hardware errors super exceed the amount of accepted hashes. There not even working at the advertised speed of 1.6 Ghps like they are suppose to be.

You know what, I just tried that with my miners thinking that it may fix the 4 to 1 hardware error ratio I have been getting with my Antminers in BFGminer. And I noticed that WinUSB driver seems to kick all the UART's right out of the Com port list and it stopped BFGminer from seeing any of the ASIC's. I had to revert to a simpler VM image to correct that problem.

It wont see any of those ASIC's when I install that Zadig program, how can it work for him? Oh and that image was taken before Zadig was installed. In the device manager, installing Zadig to correct the driver moves all your devices off Com ports to a new list called "Universal Serial Bus Devices" and that causes BFG miner to not see them

Linux or Windows?

Maybe it's because he doesn't have any ATI video cards so no OpenCL stuff

Your not catching me, I cannot get anything with CGminer to work properly, no detection of hardware or nothing and command line arguments are not recognized at all so I gave up on it. BFG Miner seems to run better so I just went with it.

Below are screen shots of my virtual machine running the miners:

The problem I am having is I keep getting way to many stale shares, and I don't know how to fix the problem.

I also want to add, none of this command stuff "--set-device antminer:clock=x0781" works, I don't know why but all that set-device stuff just crashes the window cause the command isn't recognized. I gave up on running it in linux all together cause it doesn't matter if I have cgminer, or bfgminer or how many tutorials I go through in the past 2 months, it doesn't compile, or it's missing files, or doesn't see any of the ASIC's when they are clearly there after typing lsusb and see them listed. So I'm running it in windows 7 64 bit and it seems to be somewhat improving my results.

Also, for some reason, my Antminers are running at 1.25 Ghps instead of 1.6 so I'm also at a loss to that

Ok, I'm having a problem with this stale share non-sense. I'm using 3 antminers and 9 erupters and for the longest time, they were working fine with bfgminter. I then tried to make cgminer work (because no matter what I did, I couldn't make it work for the life of me in my VMware window) since I came across some instructions when I bought more antminers, but I gave up on it again cause I still couldn't make it work. I then loaded up bfgminer again to continue where I left off only to find out, I'm getting nothing but stale work. I figured the problem would go away on its own, but it's not. My dsl isn't that laggy nor do I believe there is anything wrong with bitminter.com so the problem has to be software. Any idea's what I can do to make this problem go away?
