The site was running like a 3 legged dog last night, and has been down all day today (GMT here).
From what I've seen and heard they are reputable (linked to Lightbox and Canadian Bitcoin), so not worried that they'll do a runner with the money.
Having staff available 24/7 is a too much for a small company, but it wouldn't hurt to have something like nodeping.com setup so they get a text when the site goes down, even if they just wake up and tweet or post on here to say they're aware of the issue and will look into it in the morning.

Ok guys and gals, sadly the pool hasn't taken off in the way we hoped, and we've not been able to lure enough people away from the (personal) safety of the bigger Dogecoin pool operators. We say personal safety as most people are aware in some way that having the hash rate of any coin spread over multiple pools is good for the coin as a whole. That said we just don't have the hashing rate needed to compete, so we're going to shut the DOGE pool down. The minimum automatic withdrawal amount has been dropped to zero, and the fees for both auto and manual payouts has been dropped to 0 as well, so you can all get every last DOGE out without any penalties. The pool will keep running for a week from now, or until every last DOGE has been withdrawn, whichever comes first. The 10,000 DOGE block finder reward will remain active for the next block found, but we will shut the stratum down after that block. If nothing else we've proven that we can provide a stable and reliable pool, and we are currently looking into up and coming coins to try to find a suitable candidate amongst them so we can get in on the ground level. Once we've found a coin we think is worth backing we'll advertise the pool in all the usual channels, so keep an eye out for the next big thing from us Lastly, thank you all for joining and supporting us, and giving a small pool a go!

Sorry guys but the only info we've had from the coin owner so far is a mega upload link to a pre-compiled windows wallet with no explanation... There's no way we'll be loading that up on anything, so until/unless things change Coinpooler will remain closed.
That's a shame, but credit to you for being ready and launching on time and for doing the right thing by shutting down until you get an answer. Thanks for that, much appreciated What's worse is the "coincidental" DoS or DDoS attack that started at 22:00, which presumably is all part of the scam...

Not much to do about it :/ Nope, just such a shame that so much work went into getting ready for the launch

Just to re-iterate here, we have purposely closed Coinpooler until we can get confirmation on whether this coin is a scam or not. We are not stealing your hash rate or otherwise abusing your trust.

|
It's not us, the coin itself appears to be a scam. We're closing the stratum until the coin owner can explain themselves.
|
|
|
Can't vouch for the other pools, but we're certainly not a scam site. Someone appears to be giving our site a lot of love, but the strat and daemon are still running, and we're obviously doing everything we can to resolve the issue.

We've disabled the email part of the registration for now, seems the rush of users has got us blacklisted with our email provider :p So just sign up and login ready for launch, and we'll sort the email later
