1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best ICO in your opinion? on: October 08, 2017, 06:04:26 PM
I like digipulse, mostly because I will use their system for my files i'm working on so no third parties can steal them. It's not just my cryptoassets or if I die "who is gona get my stuff" that interests me, but that is one ICO atm I really like for my own purpose.

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: VERITASEUM DISCUSSION THREAD on: July 24, 2017, 07:27:14 PM
honestly, I could just troll some shitcoin or just being ironic or something about this market in general but Reggie, you are a great person in this community.

Reggie Middleton, Crypto Chef in town. Thank you for a great positive visionary in this space. #SmallhodlerVERI #MakkrillMan

The market cap of veritaseum is over than 350 million dollars but we're still forced to trade it only etherdelta Exchange thing. I can't understand why the team can't make the coin get on a real Exchange like bittrex?

Because they(exchanges, soon to be irrelevant exchanges.) are busy catching up 6 years of episodes from internets best cooking show. They will probably not catch up as VERI keeps moving on in the big sea of P2P things https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGp_vv5rfIQ #BigAndSerious

and btw Bittrex might be big and fat but the fact that you can't renew a single BTC wallet is ridiculous, that is just some fuckery, like Mokko would say.

and btw try withdraw BTC now on Bittrex, hope you aint stuck with it bro

Please help. Noob here. Do I earn ans if I have ans in my android wallet? If so how much in what time?

Thank you

Hey bro read this https://www.reddit.com/r/Antshares/comments/6eddt1/antcoins_anc_distribution_and_claim_tutorial/

I like this feature tbh

Hi,

So the amount of ANC coin they send depend on the amount of ANS you hold? Do they send once or periodically?

Kind regards,
Utku

I am always honest, I have hundred something ANS in my webwallet for 3 days and i havent "staked" or wathever, any,- ANC- yet.

I switched from a webwallet 2 desktop wallet, so I maybe regenerate some ANC now, will have 2 wait for monday untill i get another computer for it though and now i'm gona sell some just to make even.

The amount of ANC is displayed under the 'Asset' tab. Every 1000 ANS probably generates about 1/3 of an ANC daily. To see the full amount of ANC allocated to you, you need to be synchronized. To claim them, you apparently need to send the entire amount of ANS to your own wallet address and then they become claimable. To do that, go to the 'Advanced' tab in your wallet and click on 'AntCoin Claim'.

You can also read the following thread about it: https://www.reddit.com/r/Antshares/comments/6eddt1/antcoins_anc_distribution_and_claim_tutorial/

webwallet does not have this feature from where I can see. There is however a ANC balance under ANS balance. No where 2 claim though. Guess I've staked 2 shortly 2 receive anything x)

Wallets need 2 happen on MAC and many LINUX os systems

Really?

Microsoft? Ooooh. Maybe should hold these coins then. However, NEO is not superior towards ANT.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][rICO]Antshares Blockchain Mainnet is ONLINE! on: June 23, 2017, 12:14:41 PM
Downloaded the wallet, was getting the blockchain up to date.  Had a brown out, restarted computer, now get "AntSharesCore-GUI has stopped working" Deleted all of folder except "Chain" Reinstalled, same thing.  Any ideas?

Web wallet took 99.5 - 100% 2 hours and transaction hasnt been confirmed yet(I guess because there ain't no blockchain?). I have no idea but it is pretty crappy tbh.

Also, on website, so amazing how they tryna make it look like "look how many we are" and just copypaste images in doubles and tripples lol but i guess it just a mistake.

Neo...ANS or ant or wathever, fix wallet pls and do it right. China is the most amazing country on earth so please live up to 2 my image of u

I really like this vision.

Very interesting project, Humaniq has a great Team too? Seems so. I will buy into this, i really hope a cause and idea such as this one gets attention. I wish Humaniq all the best.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][rICO]Antshares Blockchain Mainnet is ONLINE! on: June 23, 2017, 11:57:16 AM
Can anyone explain the explaination for rebranding it "Neo"? I really liked "Antshares".

I like Ants. Ants are very intelligent and strong in way of building a society, their will for the common great of the group is undeniable.

Maybe it is just me that think "Neo" is so 2001. It is not a interesting name for a project, despite "what it stands for". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neo

Ant is just ant.

I wave good bye and wish this project all well, will probably save some coins just for fun but i'm 100% gain still but these kind of changes = me don't like.

14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: April 23, 2017, 06:48:47 AM
So

Banks would not accept Bitcoin according to "Duh darn dorks ofc banks hate bitcoins come on dude" and im like "how could they not accept bitcoin?"

then "embrace" is the new word, "why would banks E M B R A C E bitcoin, dear?" i mën come on HOW could they deny? How could they deny any altcoin at all?

When I transfer money from my bank international i can only choose from dollar and euro. Banks in some areas ALL AROUND THE WORLD are socialist banks and commie banks and some have done good deals and some have done bad deals, some is probably interesting in this new payment system as crypto revolutionary introduces, and some are not, some have big loans and problems within it.

As long as some robot(which miners in some digital way of viewing it, is.) maintain this network it will continue and the confidence for it have blooming. There are good banks out there, i know at least some good people who work at banks, so don't have so low opinions about a system who in the end had a major monetary issue with alot of problem with alot of human activity involved.

Even though Scandinavia bankingsystem is what it is, I still enjoy talks like this http://www.riksbank.se/en/Press-and-published/Speeches/2016/Skingsley-Should-the-Riksbank-issue-e-krona/ imagine if they did it open source and with an ICO for the people to get, hehe futuristic shit! It would be cool to have a wallet with E-krona, Ethereum, Monero, LTC, DASH and some chunks Bitcoin for my grandchildren. I believe currencys shouldd co-exist and for different purposesessses.

The money of transferring easy cheap whenever we choose is clearly telling a message all through out the global market, that is for sure.
on top of that, there is a confidence and trust more valid than anything before as a way of measure and trading value.

Bitcoin?

Does evolution as in the phenomenal Nature of this dimension of experience also applys on the Frequanzy Bitcoin exist on? ethernet? Lightnet? Who knows what this will turn out 2 be.....i'm only enjoying watching all this  Grin ya'll who work support contribute in anyway- THANK you for exploring this radical thing. Even though "Coinmarketcap.com" doesnt hit the right numbers all times, I still enjoy watching it as a routine. Even though I never will have the will-time to spend and learn code language in a proffesional way, I still LOVE you all for doing , and explaining it in a way I can understand on a more broader perspective.

But then again- "Does any bank accept Bitcoin?"

The usual "LETS MAKE SOME PROFIT FROM WAR"-mentality we as species had since ages maybe could change this frame, sure, intervention might be needed in some cases, but as a whole, if big players can come together in a system like this, there would be more trust in something. Crypto-wars has been ongoing and I personaly have over the years a great pleasure to watch and troll some but I think Crypto will enter another face of real time use soon as it get more expected around the globe.

There are many great Dragons and Loch Ness outhere.....and submarines..........and shrimps.......so, DANCE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2vItNnD__Mk Cool

17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you have to pay 10% or 20% extra will you still be using bitcoin? on: April 18, 2017, 12:00:40 PM
New customers, who not owns bits of bitcoins, would ofcourse,- buy a cheaper way of spending money from FIAT etc into Cryptocurrency.

Why would I spend more % "money" for Coffé when I buy with Bitcoin when I can just use an alt with less % and more % for mai cafí? oui? si? niet?

nej, one would never use that as a regular consumer to pay more.

butttttttttttt

Would BTC be The Reserve currency in crypto? Most likely atm? Like The Dollar?

"1000k MILLION DOLLARZ SENDING? 600k DOLLARZ NOTHING MINERS BRO'S" ....like ok if some doin big transfers and are big capitalists or watheva , then that high fee model suits and might tie a purpose....but honestly, aint rich people like the most "SAVE MONEY"-attitude in the world? lol would they even wanna use something that is higher than another alternative? would there be a network with no sends and just store of value who have any relevance? I'm 2 n00by to guess tbh

...... I enjoy though to read and watch you all argue and talk, many of should come together in a great conclusion about Crypto as a whole and work together

18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you stop someone forcing you to hand over your private key and taking all on: April 15, 2017, 02:44:57 PM

19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Girl,Tokyo,72hrs--Bitcoin Survive Challenge on: April 08, 2017, 11:22:50 PM
Finally, the Japanese government accepted bitcoin as a legal payment!BTC

Want some insights or a quick guide into how bitcoin works as a currency in Tokyo?

What kind of products and services we can buy using bitcoinsBTC?

What app should we choose to trade bitcoins?

Or even how’s the Sakura going on under the landmark Tokyo Tower?

Yes, way too many questions!

Therefore, we invite Ruby as our Tokyo bitcoin guide to help you discover more about Bitcoin & the City.

Just by watching the video below!

If you couldn't open the video, just click the link here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FfJG6iVeRfI
or
https://www.facebook.com/bitkanofficial/videos/1826169514312062/

In case you don’t have Wi-Fi now and neither do you have an unlimited data plan, we have prepared a quick preview for you:

Ruby from BitKan which is a very aggressive and professional Bitcoin agency,

in a city full of innovation and wonders, discovering every single possibility of our beloved Bitcoin,

this whole thing could totally appeal to you.

And to add spice to this documentary,

she accepted our challenge of living in Tokyo only by bitcoins for 72 hours!

As soon as it began, she rushed to her favorite place in town, which of course is the National Museum...

no way, just kidding! It’s a bar. Ruby rushed to a bar in broad daylight!

But, drinking is just like marriage, you need to choose the right timing!

5 o’clock in the afternoon is of course not a good time for getting drunk. Maybe that’s why this bar won’t open until 8 pm.

Still, nothing could stop Ruby to get a taste of Tokyo nightlife. She made the second charge into that bar, and this time she succeeded.

But how to pay in bitcoins after you get a little bit tipsy? There are two methods for you, so please stay sober and read on:

1, By using a Third-party Bitcoin Payment app.

Some apps in Japan could ensure the instant transfer of currency by using third-party payment,

and the rate will be automatically calculated.

This actually is as quick and easy as WeChat Pay, only in bitcoins.

For instance, Ruby this time used CoinCheck to pay her bills. All she needed to do is scan the QR code and press “confirm”!

2, By discussing the rate with the merchant and transfer bitcoins with BitKan app.

This method is widely used among small merchants. For instance, when Ruby was renting a Kimono, the shop keeper decided his own rate.

5000 Yen (around 50 USD)

=

0.5 BTC!!!!!!!!!

(You must be kidding me! I will give you 500 USD for 5 BTC please!)

OK, it turned out that the shopkeeper was not that good with numbers. And it should be 0.05 BTC.

Anyway, we should keep it in mind that the exchange rate might not be fair, and Visa or MasterCard is still a better choice.

(obviously Ruby doesn’t care about the exchange rate at all! Stay happy, girl!)

Q: How many dollars did Ruby pay in Bitcoin to rent the Kimono?

LEAVE YOUR ANSWER and YOUR IMPRESSION OF VIEW on the comment, leave your BitKan ID number, you will get a surprise!

I only wish that this is possible in other parts of the world.

In my country, China, this isn't possible at all. The money transmitting sector is dominated by big payment processors like Wechat pay and Alipay, and nobody is giving any thought to bitcoin at all.

This is a great decision by the Japanese government.

But at the same time, other countries are moving further and further away from bitcoin. Just look at how the central bank of China put all these regulations around the withdrawal of coins from exchanges etc.

My bank called me other day and was like "yo dude its me from da bank" im like "yo man" and he was tellin me that bank needed 2 know why i had to transfer money I N T E R N A T I O N A L and i was like "dude, im big in the states" but NO i told him arguments why Bitstamp needed some of money and that is because of the potential about cryptocurrencys.

I always argue from an intellectual point of way of the Design of a currency with blockchain. I told him straight up I buy this because this has great potential and by that i mean other crypto beside from BTC too

this bankman felt a little bit suprised by my rant but I'm not saying local(private/goverment banks) currencys will disappear, its just that blockchain and crypto is by design a Internet Currency and States(socialist states?) such as China and Sweden need to figure out the overall positive effects this will have.

I DESIRE a BIG BANK of Manga & Anime with micro bitcoin payments and i really hope Japan come together as a culture unity and make this happen globaly because it such a great piece of work there..

And I bet China EASY would win with a Cryptocurrency - *legalthinkingspectre* because I would DEF buy electronics in some particular areas, from China, and other stuff 2 ofc... with an easy way of buying them. I hope China and Sweden and other countries fallow as Japan seem to be doin, going to be a better and more interesting way of an economy on this planet for once 4 sure if big players embrace it.

ARIGATO JAPANO!!!!!for going a steady way to a new time of economic thinking
