Fuck YES. Ok, Listen everyone: Making the PCB is more expensive than making the ASIC. The asic is a couple of millions, the PCB is in the order of 20-25 millions. So buying the machinery is cheaper than renting them?
If HF is so open and clean, why they don't just give us a BOM and we will try to get an idea of the price of making this PCB?
Because after months of lies, this looks like just another of them to me.

Fuck YES. Hashlast will NEVER state the BOM cost per board, i guarantee it. They would rather die. To give out a bill of material is corporate suicide. |

Estimated guess, based on experience, USD 15-20 million.
The daily cost of running it, no idea... to many factors. Are you saying that making the PCBs is more expensive than the mask/ASIC? Things doesn't round up, do they? The email also says production line is suppose to exist in the future, it´s not just a temporary solution. |

Thing is, using those antminers doesnt generate me enough BTC in pools, much less in the future... I was thinking to just use these and wait it out to get 25 coins, even if it takes a long time to do so. I figure I would never make 25 BTC with just pool mining with these hardware... You´lll NEVER find a block with 32Gh |

Odd. It look like they designed it for multiphase, but decided not to use one of the FETs on each rail.
Yeah, and check the JTAG Dragon miner is chaos PCB wise, but they work. |

No units, but 2 blades. ...and you´re welcome guys Any luck getting single blades to replace them? From the photos I'm seeing around, it looks like the mining controller will handle 6 blades, so if there's a way to get extras that might be helpful to those of us who will be receiving 32-chip miners. The 32 chip version is 4 blades. The MCU can handle 8 units, only ports for 6, together with the pi. I don´t know how the manufacturer handle warranty for you guys but i´m a bulk buyer so i get extra blades to avoid expensive RMA shipping (My deal says that the vendor is responsible for all shipping cost when it comes to RMA and warranty). I wasn't thinking warranty, I was thinking more along the lines of buying another card or two and upping the power to get 1.2-1.4 TH/s. Fully doable, just connect the blade/blades to the MCU and power (If you got the 2x650w version just plug in PCI-E connector/connectors) and lay it/them down on the plexi glas area. Runs a little bit hotter then the other blades, like 2-3 degrees. 32 chip version + extra blade/blades = Adjust clock setting to 850Mhz to be on the safe side. |

Yeah, but no worries i got spares Keep the clocking on 850Mhz and the only thing you need to worry about is the PSU if you got the 1x1000w PSU modell. Or just disconnect a PCI-E cable from 1 blade and connect another PSU to the blade. If you got the 2x650w modell there´s nothing to worry about |
