I se mainnet is coming alive on Sept 16th - nice to see some life in this coin!

Are these still happening? Could you tell us when the next one is?

PChain and Request Network... or Spectrecoin are my bets :-) Potential Projects with good tech and teams
I also bet with Spectrecoin, this is a very good project with a very good team. I have a lot of confidence in this project and it will certainly succeed and became an altcoin in the top 30 I wouldn't bet heavily on Spectre - they lost almost their entire dev team a short while ago who created their own fork. The leadership is a little lacking in technical expertise right now. I do hold a small amount from before the drama, but I don't expect much of it

I see they released a whitepaper yesterday as well. I've picked up a few thinking this is looking like a good project, although still in its infancy.

I am just a beginner in the crypto currency, while everyone saying this coin is scam, can anyone going to explain to me why so many people think this is a scam?
Look at the post directly above yours for a hint. There are a lot of red flags with this prooject, not the least of which is hiding the code under the guise of "protecting a patent"

Check out Masari - privacy coin, small market cap. It's also contributing upstream to Monero, so there's a lot of potential there

It's good to see realistic time frames. Lots of projects will promise moon and stars by next quarter, so this does indicate to me that you guys are serious about what you are doing. When will the research for the new things promised in the roadmap start (blocktree and uncle mining)?
The conceptual design of uncle mining is already in place. Now that the fork to CN-Fast is complete, development efforts are going to be channeled towards rolling out uncle mining (slated for Q3 2018). Blocktree is the most intricate part of the road map and it will be the lion's share of development focus after uncle mining. It has a tentative tag for Q1 but I am fairly confident the paper will be in place sometime in January. It could come sooner also, but I would stick to early Q1 for the whitepaper. There has been a lot of malicious activity in the CN space the past couple months, with a variety of attacks hitting small net hash coins. Now that CN-Fast is live it removes many of the attack vectors that previously existed on CNv7. This frees up development time, and we're all very excited to get started on the innovative goals of Masari.

What good is EOS if they are freezing accounts at whim? Completely antithetical to the block-chain philosophy

First post on here....
I am interested in investing fiat into masari, and everything I read is positive, though I can't understand why it doesn't increase in satoshi value. My main motivator is the development team, and the clear communication with them on discord.
Maybe it is just the marketing that is lacking
I started buying and mining because of the active communication from the devs. I would expect as more people find out about this hidden gem, it will be more popular

Glad to see the fork worked out - I am definitely getting higher hash-rates with the new algo

Xtrabytes is dead - no github activity and the developers have ghosted

no idea what to do now. i'm not able to withdraw my xby tokens. Convert to a coin you can withdraw (something low fee like doge), move over to cryptopia and rebuy there.

Surprised no one has mentioned Lykke yet.

A new feature request dawned on me - when a coin has multiple trading pairs (for example, LTC/BTC or LTC/ETH) it would be nice if there was a quick way to tell which market would be more profitable to trade in. Often times there can be some arbitrage opportunities between markets, and I don't think it would be that difficult to incorporate somehow

I've been looking into ECC lately - Supply is huge, but the white paper may some promise.

|

Has there been a roadmap published?

Maybe in an upcoming update there could be a way to tell at a glance if a stop loss has kicked in? May add a loss/gain column in the messages, or even just colour a stop-loss sell in red instead of green?

STOP SELLING AT ridiculous prices on cryptopia, move to Yobit! Its already gone up to 10 US cents since I posted this...
Can't Deposit on Yobit, which is why there is such a big spread Ah that explains it. I wonder what the problem is. There's a post on page 11 of this thread that indicates that they are on separate forks - not sure really, but reading through, it seems that deposits have been closed there for at least a year. I'm going to assume they won't be opening anytime soon. Pity 'cause that would have been a wonderful Arb opportunity Edit - post #210

Still having trouble with Linux version. It says cannot execute binary file when I try and run the motocoin-qt... Also the [ [old] [linux] ] bot has not been compiled, its just a windows exe, i.e. motocoin.exe. Not sure what to do in Linux to even run the wallet at all, even though I chmod 700 the motocoin-qt it still won't execute... Don't know how it would be able to add the bootstrap.dat to the Linux version, either. If it could be automated somehow... Look at the below graph. Why is there a larger trade volume on cryptopia.co.nz at $0.012677 but on YoBit the price is $0.074084, that is Dec 17 2017 at GMT +2 @ 13:32 That would mean the: Marketcap according to Yobit valuation is currently 30663068 x $0.074084 = 2.27164273 million US$ Marketcap according to Cryptoopia prices is currently 30663068 x $0.01267 = 388 715.713 US$ STOP SELLING AT ridiculous prices on cryptopia, move to Yobit! Its already gone up to 10 US cents since I posted this... ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FoClXkBo.png&t=663&c=N--NpfR_fC5HRA) Can't Deposit on Yobit, which is why there is such a big spread
