How goes the HYP explorer project?
I'm developing my own Python realization of the bitcoin protocol (the networking part) now, it will allow me to significantly save on cloud server RAM. On its basis I'll create a multicurrency explorer with HYP on the first place Then I'll add a multicurrency BIP39 web wallet, and then will try to look in the direction of DEX or some sort of a safe exchange. Sounds good. Do you have a discord for it or maybe you can make a page on Crypto-city so I can follow your projects and more easily communicate. https://www.crypto-city.com/index.php/pages/I already have a few restaurants, bars lined up and maybe even a small remote city and schools, but in its current state of development HYP just isn't at a point where it can easily be deployed in such cases (no mobile and no point of sale or web app for merchants or institutions). https://www.crypto-city.com
Sounds fantastic I'll create all necessary pages closer to the alpha release of the explorer. Please contact me through PM for now, though I'm not always there.

A car from our blockchain: No jokes. It's a block 0 placeholder (only reference).

Looks like PressTab abandon HYP, closed coin explorer and sell his own coins.
PIVX daemon is also down, so it's not related to HYP itself. I can't say that we don't need an explorer (though everything transacts smoothly), will try to work on an alternative one. Cryptopia has been cracking down on coins without working explorers. Lots of them are being delisted last I've checked. Also harder to get listed on new exchanges without an explorer. https://www.crypto-city.comAgreed, it's my highest priority now.

Some insights on the coin user base growth according to the HyperStake bootstrap server visitor stats:

It's a temporary decision to sign a cert by myself, just not to mess with LetsEncrypt (it's kind of weird, like all free stuff). SSL isn't needed here, I will remove it. It's a part of a BIP39 web wallet development, sorry for the inconvenience.

On the site he announces an updated bootstrap every hour. But it ends before block 1377571. So no bootstrap update available. Is there an updated bootstrap? The bootstrap server works as expected. There is a link to the blockchain explorer on the site which indicates the state of the daemon. If you see the current top block, the bootstrap is up-to-date (minus 1 hour).

An argument outside the context and the last arguments but I would like to know why a project like this should be kept low? What is the true purpose of this project? When I started in the crypto one of the first coins I thought of investing was this and now I have doubts about investing. Yet can we consider technical adjustments necessary to strengthen the structure of the currency? Do these updates affect the currency?
Can I ask you a question, just to clarify, what exactly makes you feel doubt?

It's an old story. It was reported many times here as a false positive, probably some part of the code (like CPU mining) is still recognized as a malware by antiviruses. Try to compile on a separate Linux box from source if you can, or use an isolated virtual machine.

It started early this year, suddenly lots of orphanes at times 9 out of 10 rewards. After try and error I was forced to block all incoming connections.
-system clock gets synced every 30 min. -only POS coin that has this problem.
Anyone else got this problem ?
I've only seen it when my clock is out of wack. And it was generally 3-4 times more stakes then normal. But all orphans. You are performing well (sorry, was trying to make some comparative analysis according to your public data in a block explorer). We shouldn't forget about a rising difficulty.

I bought 100k HYP and send them to my wallet. When I get the first POS ?
Statistically with this amount of coins you can get a stake every 10th day now if you do it the right way. There are many factors to take into account. It is recommended to hop into the documentation prior to investing. http://hyperstake.wikia.com/wiki/HyperStake_Wiki

Have been able to withdraw 1 LTC in no time few minutes ago. Some major coins like BTC and LTC are not affected. Deposit & Withdrawal Updates 16th FebruaryWe are aware of issues with long processing times on deposits and withdrawals. This doesn't affect withdrawals of ETH, ETN, BTC, LTC or DOGE....

Hi, I want to get my son into Crypto and PoS with HyperCoin. We only have a Mac to work with atm, need some noob guidance on how to sync it with the Bootstrap.
1) The app is in the "Applications" folder. Is this the correct place to run it? If so where to I put the Bootstrap file, also in this folder?
2) Or should I create a specific folder where both files are located?
3) This is the cmd I need to run -> cd ~/Documents/Cryptos/HyperStake && ./HyperStake-qt -loadblock=bootstrap.dat
If I use a folder like this with the application file and the bootstrap i keep getting a "No such file or directory" msg.
Appreciate any help!
Your HyperStake-qt file should be in this path: /Applications/HyperStake.app/Contents/MacOSAnd the working directory (with the blockchain and wallet file) can be found here after the first launch: ~/Library/Application Support/HyperStakeThat's the place where you put the bootstrap file (don't forget to delete all blockchain related files as it is described in the instruction in the OP). The final command is: cd /Applications/HyperStake.app/Contents/MacOS && sudo ./HyperStake-qt -loadblock=bootstrap.dat
