Hello all,

I cant seem to start up my CGminer. When I open batch file, the cmd window opens but rapidly prints out what I wrote in my .txt file and that's all it does. It just keeps on repeating it, over and over, really fast (to the point you can barely read it). I've tried all kinds of things, including downloading different versions of the miner, editing the text .txt file, changing pools, changing ports, etc.

Just for reference, here is what I wrote in the .txt file (and this is what the .bat file prints over and over again):

cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://fast-pool.com:3333 -u [worker name] -p [worker password]

Actually I just tried ^ that out, no difference. Still spazzes out.

I did name it CGminer.bat... does it matter that the CG is capitalized? (instead of cgminer)

Hi, I've been mining with an nvidia gtx 770 using cudaminer, and then I replaced that card with an Amd 6950. I followed the instructions all correctly (i think...), put in the correct line of code in the .txt file, and when I run it the command line window spazzes out, only printing what I had written in the .txt file many times over and over again. It doesn't do anything else.

Here is what I wrote in the txt file:

cgminer --scrypt -o http://fast-pool.com:3333 -u [my username] -p [my password]


I don't know if this matters, but the version of CGminer that I downloaded was 3.7.2.
