I have a seperate powerupply for each board.

Need some help,
So I had a bitburner fury a while back just a single board and after about a week the USB snapped off.

Recently I have recieved another 2 boards in the hope of mining using the other board using a ribbon cable.

I have plugged the ribbon cable intot he one with the missing usb port and the other end into one with a usb port and tried to mine but it just wont. The light on the miner stays a steady flashing green and refuses to mine. I have read that you need to update the firmware on the device to get it working but I can remember doing so before the port snapped off, If you need to do it again with the ribbon cable in what should i do? the usb port has snapped off so there is no way of upadting the board. Right now it is as useful as a flashing vegtable.

thanks for any help guys!

Thanks so much for the help everyone but like some of you suggested the actual contacts have came off so nothing can be done. Any other suggestions?

Why? what can he do for me?

Okay, so recently i purchased a bitburner fury from ebay. The miner was running for around 2-3 days then t started to go into zombie mode and the only way i found to fix this was to re-plug the USB cable. When i went to do this around the 7th time. The USB port snapped off the board [picture].

So i started googling and people where saying take it to a computer/phone repair shop. I took it to a small indian shop and they said it was too small to repair. I took it to a major PC repair place in my town and they said the actual connectors themselves had snapped off so I have no idea what i can do next.

Any suggestions would be great. i would solder it myself but it is WAY too small.

I have read you can get a pic debugging kit or something but I dont think you can mine with that, i only think you can debug or firmware update with that.

Any help would be great! if you help me find a solution i will tip you BTC!
8  Bitcoin / Mining support / Stratum Proxy problem. [MIGHT TIP IF FIXED] on: February 03, 2014, 08:51:57 PM
okay, so ive been running my asic blade on slush pool using their proxy for around a day now and its worked fine but now when im trying to switch too bitminter the proxy wont have it. i setup the proxy using a bat file and when the blade connects to it i get this in console, it spams and spams and the only way to get it to stop is to disconnect the miner from the proxy

I have tried multiminer but no luck either, it just kept crashing.

thanks for any help!

10  Bitcoin / Mining support / Need help setting up asic blade, might tip btc! on: February 02, 2014, 06:01:57 PM
Okay, so i received a used blade a few days ago and I'm trying to set it up as i speak. i plugged it into a power supply, plugged it into an ehternet cable straight into my airport time capsule [setup to be the router] and i cannot connect to it.

The seller tells me the ip address is
192.168.1.150:8000 but that doesn't work, i then tried 182.168.1.254:8000 and that doesn't work either.

Could it be the time capsule? I've noticed with the time capsule ip's and shizzlee are 10.1.bah blah

any help would be greatly appreciated and i might tip btc to the person who helps!

Hi, I was wonderin if anybody could help me. ive followed all of your steps but i cannot connect. no matter what IP i try it wont connect. I have a airport time capsuel setp as my router if that makes a difference.

I am trying to connect on windows and mac and neither make a difference.

I have tried plugging it straight into my windows laptop and connecting but that doesnt work either.

Any help would be great! Huh
12  Bitcoin / Mining support / How do i change the millivoltage on CGminer? on: January 31, 2014, 05:51:16 PM
Okay, so tody i recieved my first serious piece of mining euiqptment, the bitburner fury. after spending house setting it up i have ran into a problem.
When i open CGminer it detecs the BTB ad sets the millivoltage to 1200. At this voltage the miner only runs at around 32GH. when i change where the fan is and the orientation etc it drops to around 30GH. it says on the instructions to set millioltage to 1300, will this make much of a diference? how do i do it? I have tried making a shortcut and a bat file using the following command line:

C:\Users\Joseph\Desktop\CG\cgminer-3.8.1-windows\cgminer.exe -o stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 -u Pliny12.Sophie -p 123 –avalon-options 115200:32:10:50:256 –bitburner-voltage 1300

If anyone would be so kind to tell me what is wrong with the line i would love them forever! The box just opens then says "unexpected command line arguments" then crashes.

Also what could i do to improve the cooling of the unit? it seems to change the GH quite a bit.
