You are a lifesaver, nobody else seemed to know how to do it and I could not find this information anywhere else, thank you!
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Impossible to stop unconfirmed (low fee) transaction, automatically resending? on: May 25, 2017, 11:48:31 PM
Hi guys, Got a transaction that I stupidly tried to make when my wallet was out by several weeks, so the fee it estimated was far too low, and the problem is now I have no way of cancelling it, I tried making another transaction and it just tells me my balance too low to do it.

I am using the Bitcoin core latest version

Transaction info here https://blockchain.info/tx/b0cee8e8b6fd8ce20b8ad800a5d218131958ce18651085985adf66293fa56dd7

I actually put this through over 10 days ago, but now see the date has updated, my client shows a different date also.

I've tried manipulating the wallet with pywallet, I've tried to reset the wallet and rescan, I've tried to -zapwalletxes and nothing is working. The abandon transaction is also greyed out and enabling coin control makes no difference.

Every time I restart the bitcoin client, the transaction re-appears with today's date and time, so a different approach has been just not going back into the client for a few days, since the 20th to be exact, and now still it's unconfirmed and will not give up.

Any ideas?? Very frustrating as was wanting to buy some Ether Sad

Okay, so I have a local litecoin wallet, and I have P2Pool running on my system. Also ScryptMiner (for CPU mining)
I have several machines mining to this "server" which runs P2Pool and the litecoin wallet.
I transferred most of my coins over to this wallet from exchanges/other pools to store them "safely", I woke up this morning to find a rouge transaction taking 40.10 coins (my total balance at time of transaction) to a random Litecoin address. I DID NOT make this transaction as I was asleep!
How can someone possibly make this transaction? is litecoin bogus? is p2pool a scam? Wouldn't they have to physically enter my "server" to make a transaction in this wallet?
PLEASE help, any advice would be SO GREAT!

I'm interested in signing up with you guys but you don't transfer to Liberty Reserve which is the only place I can use being that I live in New Zealand.

Hope you guys can do something for us Kiwi's sometime soon.

Inside my two rigs ^_^ waiting on new gfx card for second rig now... ftw!

OS doesn't mean anything as far as bitcoin is concerned. The bitcoin protocol is only able to transmit data it's designed for, so good luck putting any type of malware/infection through the system no matter what the OS.

I upgraded my "RIG"

Now I took all the stuff from the old iCute case up above, it was getting a bit hot in that tiny case. Transferred it over to a bigger case. Also built another rig Cheesy

Now I have a total of 3x 6870's running 24/7, going to add another to the second rig soon so they're running 2 each ^_^

And yes that fan's running, you just cant tell because of camera shutter made it look stopped lol

Picz of the work in progress...

In it's natural habitat, a shelf way at the top of our laundry lol...

Now also has a brand new Corsair TX-650W power supply when I realized the 500watt AC BEL PSU couldn't power up both 6870's DOH. Haven't updated pics to show it yet.

Tried that but no dice Sad

Sounds good, strange thing is with msi afterburner whenever I try lower the clock for memory lower than 1000 it just goes straight back to 1000 when i click apply. whys that?

Also the limit msi afterburner will take my clock to is 1000 can i unlock it somehow to go further?

And to answer the linux question, if it's not going to gain any M/hashes why bother? lol I'd rather have a nice gui to muck around with the settings to be able to point and click (remotley from my desktop) rather than bash commands that I don't know about into an SSH terminal and hope for the best ;p

I'm running 2x Sapphire Radeon 6870's at core 990mhz memory 1000mhz, fans at 50% temprature around 75-78celcius

Running phoneix miner under guiminer with -k phatk VECTORS BFI_INT AGGRESSION=12 worksize=128

Getting around 594m/hash Smiley

Any thoughts on making it even better?
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Optimize Windows 7 for Mining on dedicated box? on: June 16, 2011, 04:53:25 AM
So I am mining with Win 7 64bit, because I find it easy to set everything up with no problems. I don't really want to switch to linux unless I'll 100% gain at least 10m/hash or it's not worth it.

The question I have is what can I do to improove mining performance on Win 7? I turned Aero off but I can't think of anything else to adjust
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Underclocking ATI Memory to reduce heat?? on: June 15, 2011, 04:21:13 AM
Strange how you gained, thanks for MSI afterburner its working great Smiley Underclocked memory about 300 mhz and increased clock to 980 Cheesy pulling 300mhash per card !!
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Underclocking ATI Memory to reduce heat?? on: June 15, 2011, 03:43:13 AM
Hi I heard about underclocking my ATI's memory to reduce heat. I have 2x 6870's and they are sitting at about 75 celcius ( is this too hot? )

I was wondering how do I go about underclocking the memory?

Right now my Core is at 950 (overclocked) and memory is at stock and cannot be set lower in the catalyst control center.
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: CPU effect on 2x 6870 mining operation? on: June 14, 2011, 04:04:22 AM
Thanks for your advice Smiley Just keen to get out as many Mhashes as possible with my hardware I have available!
