Thanks for all the replies! But I'm not sure if you got the right idea (or I'm just a complete noob..), but I'm trying to run this from my linux (xUbuntu) machine not from my windows machine. Is there another way to run cgminer without using the .exe file on linux? otherwise I'll be looking into Pita (have no idea what it is )

Hi, I was trying to download cgminer 3.7.2 from this link: http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/3.7/. But it doesn't include cgminer.exe. Now I tried downloading it on Windows 7, 8.1 and xUbuntu, but in all systems it doens't show. I tried shutting down the AV on windows 7 but even then it didn't appear. Could anyone help me with this? Any help would be greatly appreciated
