7  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BFGMiner 3.10.0: modular ASIC+FPGA, GBT+Strtm, RPC, Mac/Lnx/W64, AntU1, DRB, HFA on: February 22, 2014, 10:20:40 PM
I think I figured out why my Antminers arent being found.. I took a old USB 2.0 hub and connected 2 Antminers to it, and they were found but when I connect my USB 3.0 hubs they do not get detected. Here are my hubs:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CBEVTIA/ref=oh_details_o07_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EYXZI4M/ref=oh_details_o05_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Any reason they wouldnt work?

I got this:

bfgminer-driver-antminer.o

No driver-antminer.c ?

I do have driver-antminer.c

When you build the github source, and do the .configure line, you should get final output that looks something like this:

Enabled..Drivers.....: antminer avalon bifury bigpic bitforce bitforce:uio bitfury_gpio cairnsmore drillbit erupter hashbusterusb hashfast icarus klondike littlefury modminer proxy proxy:stratum twinfury x6500 ztex

Note the antminer at the front of that list.  Your list may vary of course, depending on what options you passed configure.

Are there any instuctions for Rasp Pi and Antminer install?

Like I said I followed those Install Docs.. Installing again now.. Lets see if this changes..

EDIT: Still no go..

Is driver-antminer.c in your compiled version?

How do I check?

[2014-02-21 20:30:54] Started bfgminer 3.10.0
 [2014-02-21 20:30:54] Devices detected:

This was working on my PC, but wanted to migrate it to a dedicated PI instead of being in my office...

14 Antminer U1's on Raspberry Pi arent being detected with BFGMINER Sad Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have 14 AM U1's connected with 2 powered usb hubs, connected to the 2 R Pi's 2 usb ports (Not piggy backing). When I run BGMiner it says there are no connected devices. Maybe someone could give me the exact code to run? I am currently running this:

sudo ./bfgminer -S antminer:all -o stratum+tcp://east-us.megamultipool.com:5000 -u suprastan.1 -p password

When I try to run this:

sudo ./bfgminer -S antminer:all -o stratum+tcp://east-us.megamultipool.com:5000 -u suprastan.1 -p password –-set-device antminer:clock=x0781

I get:

Unexpected extra commandline arguments

I followed this guide: http://ubuntuhak.blogspot.com/2014/01/raspberry-pi-as-controller-for-bitcoin.html

The only thing I changed was downloading the latest version of BFG 3.10.0

15  Bitcoin / Mining support / Mining with Raspberry Pi on: February 19, 2014, 03:25:23 PM
Currently I am using my normal desktop to Mine. I am running 2x 10 port powered USB 3.0 with is filled with 14 Antminer U1's and 5 Butterflylabs Jalapeno's. I am getting decent hash rates now.

I am wondering if I migrated all of my miners to a Raspberry Pi will my hash rates or performance be slowed down? I know I would be going from USB 3 to USB 2..

Thanks

Mod_Security would most likely have prevented files from being uploaded and executed, which it sounds like happened here.

Sad

19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newb Here with some questions :) on: February 14, 2014, 11:22:15 PM
many options avaible,

can use some online wallet    blockchain, coinbase...

or store wallet file on your HDD using eg:  Multibit ... it's quite fast, becase it won't dl blockchain.

or

use official clien bitcoin-QT, but it takes few days to sync.

Is it blockchain.info?
