1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING: PAYPAL STARTED MASSIVE ACCOUNT BAN ON ANYTHING BITCOIN RELATED on: February 22, 2014, 09:51:28 AM
yea no shortage of scammers tbh..

i  havent been hit too bad as of yet though there are about 27 sold items still awaiting feedback, some as far back as the 31st of last month. i was also getting repeat buyers so i started making people leave feedback for previously bought/redeemed codes before sending out the next one which got it down a little. the way i have been lucky enough to work the paypal account i was using will mean any potential chargebacks wont come out of pocket as paypal cant debit my old bank account so for the time being i have stopped selling while ebay kills off the remaining GHS listings and once theyre all gone ill use my business paypal account for payments and ill relist my GHS and physically post the codes out by recorded delivery which should both shut ebay up and ensure if anyone tries to dispute via paypal ill have proof of delivery to the registered paypal address. ill also not be selling to anyone without a confirmed address..

this will kill sales of small amounts of GHS though as a recorded letter costs X amount and on small amounts of GHS the postage/envelope/paper cost will outweigh the cost of the GHS so ill probably not sell anything under 1GHS once i start relisting. it may boost sales of multiples of a given amount though as i can do postage discounts on buying more at one time as ill be able to add additional codes to the same envelope and it wint significantly increase the letters weight.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING: PAYPAL STARTED MASSIVE ACCOUNT BAN ON ANYTHING BITCOIN RELATED on: February 21, 2014, 11:18:52 PM
FWIW i have sold something in the region of maybe 3000gbp's worth of hashing power for cex.io on ebay with no warnings from paypal or anything. though just today ebay pulled the remaining listings i had up before i intended to re-up my quantity of GHS on cex. they stated listings were pulled as selling of digitally delivered goods are against policy. i see alot of other listings have disappeared also so maybe an ebay wide thing going on.. all good though because if i wish to continue i can simply physically send out the voucher codes which kills two birds with one stone, it sorts out ebays issue on digital delivery and also will stop these stupid scamming motherfuckers trying to say their purchase was an unauthorised transaction (incidentally AFTER the vouchers have been redeemed wouldnt you know).

luckily i expected some people to try and be cute and do something like this so i am now using my new paypal account while my old one sits in a negative balance as its tied to my old bank account (switched banks due to rediculous bank fees) which is essentially now closed and not allowing paypal to debit from that account, that along with removing the credit card i had up as a backup funding source means a big fuck you to paypal if they think they can hold or take my money on a whim when i have supplied what the people have purchased. that negative balance can sit there for the rest of eternity of they dont credit it back to me and discipline the 4 scammers currently trying their luck. good job i was sending all money to my other account after every transaction thinking someone would eventually try and pull a scam.
3  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Misc. Domain Names For Sale on: February 21, 2014, 10:52:46 PM
most of the names above (with the exception of a few i want to personally keep and possibly use myself) are now for sale in a 45 name portfolio i have listed on ebay. i am willing to accept payment in BTC as well as the listed methods of payment. if paying in BTC i am happy for you to use a trusted escrow service, etc.

4  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: my new website shop where you can now buy CEX cloud mining power on: February 13, 2014, 08:54:47 PM
yea it does but i dont think by as much as that though.. as it also coincides with the fall in BTC prices very recently, perhaps due to the silk road 2.0 hack.
5  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: my new website shop where you can now buy CEX cloud mining power on: February 13, 2014, 06:36:41 PM
GHS price on cex is on a slow long term downward spiral because as the blocks increase in difficulty it will take more and more hashing power to mine them.

at the minute the market is messed up.. price of GHS has shot up a bit today which seems to coincide with BTC price dropping further which further reduces any profit if your pricing cheaply. will have to ride this out and see what it looks like once BTC price comes back up, GHS should drop but might take a bit.. good time to have GHS that you can sell though because if it drops back to what it was even yesterday then theres a decent amount of GHS to be made. currently its at 0.0247, was at 0.0233-0.0236 for the past few days before this rise.

6  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: my new website shop where you can now buy CEX cloud mining power on: February 13, 2014, 05:52:58 PM
yea the fees are rediculous. the problem selling GHS is that there is alot of price undercutting happening at the minute. i started up and undercut the prices at the time which was fine for a while then someone undercut me so i dropped again and all was ok for a while again then same thing. have dropped price a fair bit from when i started to now and if it goes much lower it wont be worth the time/effort. im hoping i can run the few that are trying to compete with me into the ground so they give up then i can put prices back up a bit to stay below the rest of the listings which havent really changed in price much.

good example.. 5GHS was going for 125gbp maybe 1 to 1.5 weeks ago and that was me pricing it cheaper than anyone else, after all the price wars im now moving 5GHS at just over 80gbp. similar sort of reduction for other amounts of GHS as well..
7  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: my new website shop where you can now buy CEX cloud mining power on: February 12, 2014, 11:16:25 PM
nice idea, i was contemplating doing something similar as i sell GHS on ebay at present. i think the main problem you will face is becoming known as a place to go for redeem codes that accepts fiat currency. takes a while to rank up in google, etc.

i also have/had a website with webs though recently as they conviniently did not notify me of impending domain renewal until a couple days beforehand and wanted more money for the domain name than what i could buy it or another domain for elsewhere i opted to not renew the domain and change my business name as well as move over to bluehost and create a new website. webs like to charge for everything, with bluehost you get free emails and a bunch of other stuff. you do, however, have to pay for a store on bluehost where, if memory serves, webs offer a store for free. the options for site design are a bit better on the site maker thingymajig on bluehost also but once the initial cheap contract for a couple years runs out the renewals go up to normal price which is more expensive than webs.. that said with bluehost you could have multiple websites and domain names hosted from the one account though..

btw if your just getting going selling GHS and looking for a partner i might be interested, circumstances depending.. PM me if you want to talk about potentials. i have moved approximately 57 GHS on ebay in about 2 weeks plus having about 15.25 GHS up for grabs there at the minute as i just re-upped my GHS and relisted some of my listings. selling via a website, providing you can get traffic to the site, would increase profit as you would avoid ebay seller fees. though i would be dubious about using paypal to accept payment if selling from a website because atleast on ebay you have a fighting chance of the buyer tries to pull a scam and get GHS plus chargeback.

my only worry about setting up a site for selling GHS for fiat currency is that it is nno a garaunteed long term thing.. cex could turn arond tomorrow and introduce GHS purchasing via fiat and then any sellers of GHS or websites selling GHS would become obsolete.

dont see anything wrong with that tbh.

honestly though.. you should just stay for the comic value.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is the best way to buy bitcoin in the UK? on: February 09, 2014, 08:23:20 PM
you mean like buying from another member on here using localbitcoinsas a safe medium? dunno, im only a humble newbie.

tbh i wouldnt trade with many on here regardless, theyre all over paranoid and love branding any and all newbies as scammers even when they are not. its kind of like trying to deal with those brainwashed born agains.. it doesnt matter what you say or what proof you show them theyre oblivious and blind to the facts. also there has been instances of users with good trust ratings jumping the fence or just earning the trust in order to pull a big scam so basically dont trust anyone here and if you are dealing with someone here make sure its through a safe medium such as a reputable escrow and make sure your totally happy with the arrangement beforehand, leave no outs for them to potentially scam you.

hell theres even speculation surrounding a large amount of BTC donations to the site owner towards a new forum that has never happend so id be weary of anyone and everyone.
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is the best way to buy bitcoin in the UK? on: February 09, 2014, 08:07:52 PM
bittylicious is ok, price little higher than going rate though it seems.

not heard of speedybitcoin before, seems like its just popped up.. i wouldnt jump in buying on a fresh place like that. wait until other have used it and its verified legit.
13  Other / Meta / Re: Mods/Admin, help please (will pursue legal routes if not dealt with) on: February 09, 2014, 06:15:22 PM
Yes, you probably were. Screenshots prove NOTHING - you're probably familiar with the art of editing HTML Tongue

right ok.. so you would probably also believe its raining even when someone opens the blinds to show you the ground is dry, the sun is out and there isnt a cloud in the sky because maybe, just maybe, someone has come along while you werent looking and stuck a sunny day picture on your window.. lmao

seriously, theres being smart/careful and then theres being over paranoid. anyway its not like i could give a flying fuck, i setup a new bank account on friday and have been able to start using it to buy BTC from bittylicious or anywhere else i deem safe-ish (definately not mtgox haha).

btw i have since bought some more BTC from foysal via the "dont ever use THAT because everyone who uses it is a scammer" method of payment aka paypal. mind you i wont have to now that i can buy BTC via bank transfers. why dont you remove your tinfoil hat and ask him have i scammed him? i think you will find the answer is no.

@gweedo, no sure i manufactured that screenshot just like the ones i posted above..  pmsl Roll Eyes

here would you guys like to search my wallet address on blockchain? 16scXkohgaqg1AwnVp1hkZN98RKkGHvh6x im sure you can follow the most recent transactions back to bittylicious as well as follow any outgoing BTC payments to cex.io. or are you going to say i have somehow managed to hack into the blockchain and add fake stuff to that too? you people... seriously..
14  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: cex.io VS bit-mining.io on: February 07, 2014, 01:26:39 AM
@ krampus, that is 100% correct, you just try and ensure you are not the one losing 99% of the time lol

@falcon, i know what your saying but i dont just blindly park my BTC in GHS all the time. sometimes i do the opposite and sell all my GHS and setup buys at varying prices or all at a single price. it depends what way the price has been changing over the last day, days, week, etc. its a gamble, yes. but so far i have been able to operate this way and make more in total than i started out with originally. though when im on it (and not arguing with trust nazi's) im buying/selling every few minutes or less on average.. unless ofcourse its sloping down and i think if i hold out on buying i may get it cheaper before it bounces back up. ditto for having GHS and selling. i dont see it as luck when im trading, i see it more as calculated decisions, also i rarely panic buy or panic sell, i think i have done it maybe twice and once it worked out and the other it lost me a little. maybe its luck, i dont know.. i dont think it is because i have never been a particularly lucky person, anything i get or gain tends to be from busting my ass to get it rather than taking pot shots. hell maybe for some reason i just understand how to work it a bit easier than the next man or somethin.. i dont know, all i know is so far its been working for me.
15  Other / Meta / Re: Mods/Admin, help please (will pursue legal routes if not dealt with) on: February 07, 2014, 12:58:48 AM
and to further back up everything i have said about why i was needing BTC heres the deposits into cex.io from virwox. note the correspponding dates. also notice the 0.12BTC voucher in the middle of the second screenshot, that was the 0.12 i bought off Foysal who can vouche that he still has the money i sent him for the BTC.

and last but not least to hammer the nail in and further confirm what i said about why i needed the BTC to tide me over until today when my virwox account leveled up and my limits increased. look at all the voucher codes i have generated (sold) for noobs wanting to get in on the mining/cex GHS game, also note the most two largest voucher withdrawals and the dates of them. this is when the party stopped due to hitting my virwox level 0 monthly limit which was what i was hoping to avoid as no BTC in = no vouchers out = no more fiat coming in and thus the rinse and repeat cycle is temporarily halted. once i hit the wall and sold that 8GHS you can clearly see that left me with hardly anything and at the rate it was flying out before that the remaining 1GHS odds could have gone in the next hour or day or it could have lasted till now (but it didnt as you see another withdrawal on the 5th). what you cant see is as i couldnt get more BTC i had to pull the bigger sales listings for 1, 2 and 5 GHS to prevent someone purchasing while i hadnt the GHS to give them as i prefer to operate in good standings and keep a clean conscience rather than make up excuses why i cant give someone something they bought when i am supposed to. id rather pull sales listings than have to stall someone for days while i scramble to try and get them what they now own and potentially risk my reputation. (mtgox anyone??)

now put that in your pipe and smoke it.. yea i was definately being dishonest and trying to scam people Roll Eyes
16  Other / Meta / Re: Mods/Admin, help please (will pursue legal routes if not dealt with) on: February 07, 2014, 12:42:51 AM
and like i have said all along about pegging my level 0 account limit on virwox.. notice the dates i underlined in red.. the 2nd is when i maxed the level 0 account limit and today is when my account turned 10 days old and as a result my account level raised to level 1 which lifted my limit allowing me to deposit more and buy more. its the gap between the 2nd and the 6th today that i was hoping to avoid by either buying or getting a loan of BTC.

shall i take screenshots of the BTC from virwox being transferred into my cex.io account also? if i was going to make up some story about why i was needing to get some BTC in order to pull off a scam or scams would i not make up something more convincing than a long convoluted story about paypal, virwox and cex.io? i could have just said something like my computers PSU packed up from running a mining rig and i cant get to my wallet until i fix it, blah, blah, blah.. you know the saying truth is stranger than fiction..
17  Other / Meta / Re: Mods/Admin, help please (will pursue legal routes if not dealt with) on: February 07, 2014, 12:29:30 AM
bullshit..

i joined the forum having done one transaction with a member and both parties getting what they intended to get with no scams or funny business. i then (stupidly) ask about potentially buying some BTC with the only form of payment i can muster at the moment because i knew cex.io GHS prices were going to crash so i was hoping id be able to get some BTC with my fiat currency before the crash so as to be ready to snap up GHS at stupidly low prices. failing any chance of buying BTC i then look for a loan as i only need it for a few days. meanwhile the accusations start and have continued since and up to this point. at this point i dont give a flying fuck because my virwox deposit limit has lifted this evening allowing me to buy 92gbp worth of BTC and pegging my level 1 daily deposit limit for the day which i have done and buying the GHS i had hoped to be able to buy a couple days ago at a rock bottom price. its back to business as usual now that i have finally got some BTC back into cex.io to trade and try to increase my BTC as well as being able to "park" my BTC as GHS overnight and until i return from work for mining shares while i cant be on trading. tomorrow once my daily cap resets ill be able to buy the remaining 42gbp's worth of BTC and throw that into GHS as well unless i end up buying something on ebay ftonight because its been burning a hole in my pocket for days lol

so in a nutshell, established members try to turn their BTC into more BTC and its all cool, a newbie registers having had to stop doing the same and hoping for a means to bridge the gap until he can buy some more through the only system he can at the moment and he is the labelled a scammer?

i dont give a shit about feedback now because as i said my virwox limit has lifted and i can buy some BTC that way which should tide me over until i can buy from a market with my bank account and avoid the rediculous virwox fees associated with depositing paypal into virwox and then converting GBP into linden dollars then ultimately into BTC.
18  Economy / Goods / Aftermarket Car Parts for Sale (any car buffs here?) on: February 06, 2014, 10:48:38 PM
dont really know who all or how many users here would be into their cars so im testing the waters with this as i would normally sell this kind of stuff on ebay for fiat currency so this is a testing of the waters.

also may i state that if there is interest in any parts i do not care if your the most trustworthy member or the most untrustworthy. ALL purchases will be handled through a neutral and trustworthy 3rd party that we both agree on. perhaps a reputable escrow service or similar so that there are no opportunities for either party to be scammed. shipping is at buyers expense and i am willing to ship worldwide.

if there is any interest in car parts/goodies then i will invest more time in this thread and post pictures with listed items by default but for the moment this is a testing of the waters. if there is interest in the gauges i will take and upload pictures and work out prices in BTC. at present i am only putting up pictures of things i already have pics of. PM or reply with interest and i will add prices and pics, etc.

first couple bits i need to sell that spring to mind are:

- 52mm vacuum/boost gauge (gauge is mechanical so merely requires running a line to a boost source on the engine)

- 52mm fuel pressure gauge (fuel pressure gauge works, however, the electronic sender has failed some time ago so you would need to get another sender, they can be bought easily on ebay)

- 52mm oil pressure gauge (gauge has been fitted along with the other two but never fully plumbed in so the electronic sender for that is as new)

all gauges above are black faced with silver trim rings. they are backlit white with red on the high side and red needles, tey appear smoked when not illuminated.

_______________________________________

- 52mm NOS (new old stock) turbopacs vacuum/boost gauge (gauge is new but it is old and as such has the odd mark from laying around for years)

_______________________________________

- new age impreza (2000-2007 ish) vortex generator, new and unused apart from test fitting and deciding i didnt like it

_______________________________________

15 inch 4x100 old school mille miglia alloy wheels, i cannot find any information on the model of mille miglia wheel that these are but they are old and rare as i have not seen another set or seen pictures of another set online in my travels. 3 wheels are good and roll true with no vibration at speed while the 4th has a crack on inner lip roughly 1 inch in length and would need to be welded, before the crack got larger this also rolled true with no vibration. i ran these up to over 150mph with no vibration lol they come with or without tyres, if interestedi ntyres there are 2x falken ziex ze912's on fronts (with slight sidewall stretch) and 2x full width accelera tyres on rear. all tyres have plenty of life left in them and the acceleras that were on the rear are like new as they were fitted roughly 1-2 months before taking the car off the road.

_______________________________________

official BMW/Castrol oil/coolant top up storage pouches. most of these have disposable funnel, paper towel and glove/s included. they are velcro backed and simply stick on the rear or side of your boot/trunk somewhere. i will sell these individually or will sell as a job lot. i have approximately 10 or these, all are brand new.

_______________________________________

more to come poviding sufficient interest.
19  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: cex.io VS bit-mining.io on: February 06, 2014, 10:34:38 PM
yes you can lose if it drops overnight.. but.. if you buy at say 0.027, sell at 0.028 you have made a profit. you come back next day and price is 0.026, you sell and then you buy at 0.025.. your still making profit. the overall downtrend is irrelivant when you operate like that as you are always making a profit over what you have sold for regardless of the fact it is going downwards in the long term.
20  Other / Meta / Re: Mods/Admin, help please (will pursue legal routes if not dealt with) on: February 06, 2014, 10:28:46 PM
no..

the point is you make false accusations on whether someone can or cannot be trusted. you have yet to provide any evidence of any scamming or anything untoward apart from some retaliation feedback which you greatly deserve. furthermore you will never be able to provide such proof because i am not, and never will be a scammer. regardless of what your personal views/opinions are and this will be proven in time.
