To be honest,it is really not a very good distribution.
1/2740=0.00036 and ~but we (the core development team) will keep the promise of taking the maximum of 10% of NEM for personal compensation to deliver the community a complete NEM V1 blockchain. ~

Are you kidding me?I'm really disappointed and I will not buy any nem coins in the future.
10% for developers is a fair share. They worked hard and organised such a massive project and distribution. They deserve to be rewarded. Yes, they wanted to get rich so organised this project. But they also create some money/btc for us for just trolling 10% =400 shake/5 or 6 =60-80 shake/person fair? We have only 1 shake but His cake is 60-80 times as big as mine. Does that seem fair to you? yeah, that seems a little bit high. never mind. OMG,is it means the dev have 10% of the 4 billion total shares?  I thought the dev means that 10% of the 1 billion. i dont see that as an issue.. do you really think the devs are going to put so much work into this just to dump it to oblivion?? i dont think so.. if they are smart they will put up mega bounties to get loads of stuff done.. out bounty every other coin.. get masses of devs.. huge bounties for big projects, bonuses for new innovative stuff that hasnt been done before! whether its an app or feature to the coin or what ever... think big new out of the box and fund the crap out of it.. put the absolute best devs on monthly salaries and have them come up with really cool stuff.. incentivize the community.. any one who gives a good idea that gets implimented gets a small bounty.. not much but enough to get juices flowing.. small bounties for bringing new devs on board, for getting a company to ipo on the nem network. fuck it.. tv advertising if you can afford it! lol advertising everywhere tech magazines before and after tech shows on tv, higher pro marketing companies to market the shite out of it.. by the sounds of it between the auction and 10% of nem thats a fuck lot of money.. use it! and blow this baby so high in the sky.... so high! mmm I don't really think aboutthe future much. But the truth is the 10% Premine will destroy most of shareholder's confidence. Most of us will dump dump dump before devs dump their 40m coins in the beginning. btw,if you think I'm wrong,you can post a vote for the whole community. |

Confirming that I have received my CommunityCoins - thanks! I've been considering some ways to increase the distribution further within a growing community without doing the usual giveaways etc. I remembered one of the Tor project devs. once giving a presentation on 'Incentive Mechanisms' for running Tor Relays ! So, I propose to giveaway 50% of my initial CommunityCoins over an extended duration to anyone prepared to run a Tor Relay. Anyone doing this will receive an initial 'set-up' donation and also receive a weekly ongoing payment for as long as the node remains active. These rewards will diminish over time to cope with demand and their will ofc be a total max. allocation. Each Tor Relay should be a new named Relay with proper port forwarding on the router. This could make for the perfect opportunity to turn your old 32 bit windows xp machines into a linux Tor Relay running on your 'home' router. CommunityCoin Tor Relays can be identified as active via the Atlas and also torstatus.blutmagie.de I propose that Relays are named as something random+COMM i.e. MyTorRelayCOMMI'm still working out a possible payments structure with my available CommunityCoin funds and will start a new thread soon. Up to 500+ additional Tor Relays should be a very good way to create interest in this new coin and help to build a community. Hi, guys, again, I'd like to say: give the dev time, plz.
You should know the fact that you are asking for free coins.
No IPO, No premined. If u can't get the coins, there is no reason to cry, as nobody robs your money and run away.
If u r lucky and get your stake, you should give your effort on promotion.
The development of this communitycoin is not only the issue of the dev's, but also the whole "community", who get benefit from it.
