When you invest in crypto you will have the classic risks with a few specific additions.
1. Economic risk Obviously with any investment, you will risk yielding low returns, if not even making losses. The crypto market is highly volatile, so while you might you're having a great week, all of your gains could diminish within one day.
2. Default risk While default risks usually apply to banks giving out loans, it also applies to crypto currencies in the way, that developers could just drop a currency that isn't performing in the way they anticipated. That could lead to your asset practially diminishing.
3. Political risk This could also fall within Economic Risk, as it will influence the performance of the currency. Politics love to meddle with the crypto market, by announcing possible bans or restrictions. While this would be mostly out of the hand of the developers, it could affect the market as a whole. With traditional investments, political risks would have lower effects on the market, if at all.
4. ICO scams Be generally catious when participating in an ICO. While you could never be 100% sure that you won't be scammed, try and be as sure as possible, by getting as many infos about the currency, and most importantly, the tech and purpose behind it.
Hope this helps, good luck with your investments! BTC

Football and ESports are just to start with as they are the biggest and ESports the most tech affine ones. All Olympic sports and other major Sports (see American sports) will follow in no time. It’s a huge market!

It is as dangerous as any other investment is without good research and looking after it... You dont just have to invest money, but also time. Just be cautious

100%! We need more than just one coin in the market. The question is how many we will need, but definitely more than one...

The website is a good starting point, but the white paper gives much more insights. Social Media channels can always be pushed through marketing methods, but white paper and website is about content and the idea / technology behind it. Also it is good to check the team, the investors, advisors and how credible the partners are!

It seems like a good time to invest. However - dont just buy simply because the price is low. Decide carefully in which you will invest, which will be good and with smart use in the future!

You probably won’t influence the market with holding your bitcoin. You have to decide what kind of strategy you prefer in general. Holding it longer might pay off in the long run!!

They definitely can become investors as well. Whether that is, because they spend so much time with the ICO topic, that they start believing in int so much so that they buy coins - with their made money from the bounty program or even with own money. Clearly the ICO has to be good though...

If you have a physical teacher even better It still is not dead easy, but at least worth an attempt for "normal" people..

Yeah exactly, it seems to be a good guide for starters to get into. Or has anyone seen any anything similar to help approach this topic?

I feel like my posts are getting deleted now that the two weeks are over. Is that normal?
