1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Fishing out scam projects PART 2 on: July 08, 2019, 09:46:38 AM
Last time my post was about how you can track ICO websites and know when they've been developing their project to safe you
from scammers that opens website in a week and start asking for funds

Today I'm going to talk about how to detect good projects that have higher chances of success either ICO and IEO projects or even STO .

1) Most of ICO ,IEO and STO projects or should I say almost all new projects entirely don't have existing businesses so they have no way to back up their projects in price value. Projects that have real life business or offices ,companies have higher chances to success e g clear foundation project

2)Those new projects that have no real life businesses depends entirely on the funds they raised from ICO or IEO and if their is value problem to their coin or token they tend to use money from the fund.
Mind you,not all of these projects will use funds they make from ICO or IEO to raise token value, they might not even care which means their top objective is THE FUND. You want to take my advice? Here it is ,projects with no real life businesses are dangerous and we have too many of them in crypto space. Don't forget A.I technology projects, none of them have a real working A.I tech has they claimed ,if they do we would have full life vids, which means its all just a backed up story.

3) The third one on my list is a very popular one ,shitty looking website designs,I don't think its hard to detect a work of professional designed websites, if the project is a well organized one they should be able to make a difference in website appearance. Fake projects at times always use cheap templates or they hire mediocre developer to build for them.

4)Some fake projects have popular appearance of some old scam projects ,their websites always look alike too with almost same contents because they are stolen and even some copy contents from successful projects ,if you are very familiar with ICO projects this shouldn't be a problem once you come across any project that uses copy content it will triggers your thoughts saying to yourself' oh I've seen something like this before'  Undecided

5) How do you check whitepapers to find clues if the project have something unique to offer? Whitepapers should consist of all Info's about the token or coin and what the project is all about but what many takes their eye off is future plans ,whitepapers have roadmaps but many whitepapers doesnt state good fact about future plans ,for example they only add
i) mobile wallet development
ii) mobile wallet released date
iii) iOS too or plan to list on exchanges
All this are petty petty no big deal upgrades for any projects but this isn't what a good project should have in whitepapers

Whitepapers should have future plans in roadmaps like
Future partnerships
Steps for making token have more value in future
Implementation of better technologies
Solution for higher adoption rate  etc

And moreover good project with good teams always go for block chain seminars ,events and launches to get expanded and create awareness .

Note: All this doesn't mean that good projects don't fail, they do fail but this have help me a lot from losing money and  headaches when promoting bounty projects too.

Thanks

I've made up my mind to start helping people fight off scammers and con artists in crypto space by leaking out ways you can detect fake projects so I'm going to make this short and quick.

Good projects don't just pop out of no where ,they take time to get built and it takes time to build the ideas developers wants to implement in every project ,scam projects are the ones that pop out of no where

You should get used to tracking projects website using domain search tools like whois domain search ,you will know when the project has been in development by the developers .

For example I'm going to use miracletele project to illustrate, the fact is miracletele project domain has been created since 2017 ,yes that's so true ,the professional teams have been developing the project and planing what strategy they will use since 2017 and carefully gathering the pieces together.

Check this pictures below showing how I track the website

Miracle tele project ANN page was created on April 23 2018 ,that's when crypto space know what miracletele is ,this is the ANN link

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3380042.0

The truth I want you to hold in your left hand and not throw away is GOOD PROJECTS TAKES TIME TO BUILD, you need another proof?

Check out GOWITHME project too

And GowithMi ANN page was created on Dec 28 2018 ,check the ANN link below

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5090322

As you can see,GoWITHMI has been in development since 2017-7-7 ,this shows that they are no nonsense projects but what about scam projects ? If you track their DOMAIN I'm sure they are build a month ago or like some that I track that they are built few weeks ago , the difference is clear ,they have nothing to offer, all they are after is the funds. I'm not going to start naming the scam projects but if you think they aren't among us right now you are so wrong.

Do the findings yourself from now on and this is not about getting your reward when bounty ends ,sometimes its all in the bounty managers hand but this thread is about how to detect scam projects, you can use  https://www.whois.com/whois/ for your tracking, just insert the website name and you will get full details

Note: I'm not saying that good projects can't fail ,yes they can but its better to waste time good projects that may or may not fail rather than scam projects.

I will keep finding ways to fish scam projects out to safe some bounty hunters time and energy ,stay tuned for more .

Peace out.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Either hardware or software wallets, keeping your private key safe is what matter on: July 04, 2019, 05:23:16 AM
Either you are been confused by your friends to buy or download the following
1)Hardware wallets e g ledger nano or trezor
2)Mobile wallets e.g coinomi or trust
3)Offline wallets aka paperwallets

It doesnt really matter, why? They all use private keys or backup phrase

So what matters the most? How to keep your private keys and backup phrase safe .

How? You have to figure that out ,the ball is in your court

Quick Notice: keeping your private keys safe should be your highest priority and dont do the following

1)safe private keys in emails
2)Google drive? Don't even think about it

We all know how easily it is to get emails hacked this days ,its very dangerous, I know many are doing this so dont even think your keys are safe ,have you ever use your email to signup on a website and after a week you get a notification that you've just login from Japan or Malaysia while youve never been their? Lol it happens to me twice.
5  Other / Beginners & Help / Becareful where you invest your money on: July 03, 2019, 05:30:52 PM
To newbies trying to invest in new coins and tokens I want to use this opportunity to warn you guys ,look very well before you leap, make sure that the coins and tokens you invest in is backed by a working product.
If you don't know what happened to not too strong coins and tokens please take a look at my screenshot

https://imgur.com/a/w5cgrQF

I was a victim of omencoin and peepcoin when I was still a novice in crypto space ,these coins arent strong enough that's why they getting delisted. Take your time on learning first before anything else and you won't suffer the fate of many investors.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Don't doubt the power of Staking coins on: July 01, 2019, 02:16:53 PM
Staking coins is way better than mining ,hassle free and no generating of heats ,I'm luck to come across miracle telecom project that offers token holders rewards every two weeks from the projects 40% net profits and so far so good ,the reward is not fixed but its way better that other staking coins too ,with 100 tele tokens you can easily make 1.2-2euro based on their net profit every two weeks.

Do you guys have any other staking coins as good as this?

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: important info on bitcoincash ** on: June 30, 2019, 04:34:08 PM
For some bch will always be a shitcoin but for me I'd still choose BCH over many altcoins ,for example bitcoin bullrun have been around for awhile now and BCH is among the very few altcoins that benefits the most from the ride
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better ICO, STO Or IEO ? on: June 30, 2019, 04:29:59 PM
Their is not much difference among the three, its all about fund raising but in different ways ,I just kind of prefer IEO more than the rest because of the quick sell out and hardcaps are reached easily unlike ICO fund raising that can take months to reach hardcap
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrop millionaires ( Your success stories ) on: June 29, 2019, 05:29:17 PM
I've earned good rewards from airdrops and many  worthless tokens are still in my wallet because they are never listed on exchanges ,I doubt if one can still make up to 500$ from airdrops anymore but nothing is impossible
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Sometimes its always the investors fault on: June 29, 2019, 05:24:29 PM
Either ICO IEO or STO, this shouldn't be what you will rely upon to get great benefits from new projects, what makes a difference is the thing that the teams are attempting to construct ,the inquiries you should begin posing to yourselves is what innovative idea will the new project offer crypto space ? Also, how great are teams records.

Many investors are complaining that they are at lose investing in some IEO projects ,these investors believe that all IEO projects are good and should be able to double or triple their ROI which is not possible unless they actually do good research on the projects first ,lack of research will always leads investors astray
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I've taken my eye off bounty hunters comments on: June 29, 2019, 05:10:21 PM
Bounty hunters should be on the look out for legit projects only and stop trying your lucks with projects that have no chance of surviving or even turn scam later on ,let's take bounty hunting very serious because that's the only way we can actually have good news tell others
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long-term plan for investment. on: June 26, 2019, 01:07:09 PM
I plan to keep promoting good bounty projects since I have no money to invest in good top coins so I will keep hunting for more bounties and hold them for future purpose
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do to recover your losses? on: June 25, 2019, 01:58:45 PM
After I lost most of my money on trading platforms I decide to quit and go back into promoting projects like bounties or even airdrops ,sometimes what you don't expect can happen ,I used to earn big from trading until now
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do your research before investing in ICOs on: June 24, 2019, 09:09:19 AM
Many thinks that all ICOs are done for but they are wrong ,finding good ICO projects now is more like finding good bounty projects to promote so its all in your hand if you ask me ,we still have few good ICO projects around is you look better
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty that paid you some good reward on: June 24, 2019, 09:05:18 AM
I was able to get 4million tokens from AIR wallet bounties by joining almost all the campaigns available since the project is Asian project and I know how Asian adopt tokens faster than anywhere else ,although its not listed yet and the IEO price is 0.001 but hoping for the best
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are lazy on: June 23, 2019, 07:17:25 AM
Scamming people is just like looking for shortcut to success ,they never want to face any challenges in life but want to be rich quick ,I know crime pays but for every criminal there days are been counted
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE GOOD AND BAD SIDES OF BOUNTIES on: June 23, 2019, 07:09:57 AM
The good side of bounty is getting a reasonable payment on the long term and be able to swap to fiat or other coins you like but the bad side is many ,long term waiting ,got cheat of your reward either from team or bounty mangers and the worst one is if the coin or token never get listed and they remain in your wallets forever
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is time for Bounty hunters to hold/hodl on: June 22, 2019, 07:38:14 AM
All the projects I help promote in 2018 till date are good ones to me at least and I don't have any plan of dumping for the time being till there is a better value in price
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Dump is not always a good idea on: June 22, 2019, 07:35:48 AM
The fact is its always a bad idea to dump all your tokens you get from bounties unless you promoted a not too good project ,I've seen few bounty projects that hunters dumped and later the token price surge in value for example Gowithme bounty ,so how many of you dump gowithme token? The token did 10x already
