@dzkrb1966 individuals with a passion of crypto, sports, and trading are slowly coming on board. The project was my vision so I was doing all of the work in the beginning including writing the whitepaper and coding the landing page. I have a business and technical background so I was able to do this myself. The WP is still being written and the landing page is still being created. Don't worry, this project will be a huge success as implementation is being done slowly and this is the first of its kind running on blockchain technology. The TGE is a few months away, so what I'm doing now is building a community as everything is being developed and my team is currently growing. By launch of the TGE, my team members are all required to complete KYC and this entire project will be transparent.

@Cryptomilz I'm considering not implementing KYC. That would mean that US residents and China residents won't be able to participate in the token generation event. However, they can purchase from external exchanges after the TGE.

My name is Christopher Pass. I am the founder of FinTekSports. FinTekSports is a CryptoCurrency Sports Trading Platform that uses its own cryptocurrency, the FINTEK token as the utility. The platform will connect cryptocurrency enthusiasts, sports fans, and traders around the world with a transparent, easy-to-use, investor friendly platform. Individuals on the platform will be able to trade peer to peer what we like to call 'blocks' of their favorite sports teams in resemblance to what one would do with stock, an altcoin, or a platform-based coin.

The project is currently in development and will be launching an ICO in the next few months. My goal here is to be transparent, build a community, and answer any questions the community might have. An update on the project is the WP is about 85% complete, landing page for the token generation event 75% complete. The plan as of right now is to accept ETH for the Token Generation Event. Once the contributor sends ETH to the smart contract, the contract will automatically send the contributor the FINTEK tokens. If the softcap isn't reached, a;; contributions will be refunded. As far as KYC goes, I'm really not a fan of it as this is goes against the main reason cryptocurrency was created. If KYC isn't implemented, individuals from the United States and China will not be able to participate in the token generation event. However, they will be able to purchase tokens from an external exchange at the conclusion of the token generation event.

As far as a bounty goes, the plan is to set aside 10M tokens for a bounty. In addition, there will be a 10% bounty paid in ETH for direct referrals. Also bounties will be paid at the conclusion of the token sale.

The platform will include Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer, National Basketball Association, National Football League, and National Hockey League. As the whitepaper and token generation event is still being developed, additional sports can be added and token economics modified if the community suggests different.

If you have any questions, please respond below and I will get back to you. The key is transparency. I like to use the phrase "Who wouldn't want to earn when their favorite teams win"?

Your idea is really nice, but I think To be successful, the ICO project is essential. I can suggest whitepaper, website, smart contract to you.
Hi. What kind go suggestions can you make regarding the whitepaper, website, and smart contract? Also what is your experience and background with crypto?
My company has many years of deploying the whitepaper, website, and smart contract for ICO projects. If you see more information, please contact:

Do you have anything implemented yet apart from just an idea? There is literally no base for us to give you a feedback without seeing the website/white-paper. Also, that market is quite saturated and we see a new smart contract based sports betting stuff here every week. I'm not demotivating you but it is something you should consider while developing your project. Launch the website/whiate-paper soon as you can.
I have v1 of my unofficial Whitepaper I can send to you? Where should this be sent. I'm still working on my website; It's about 75% completed. The betting market is saturated, this isn't betting. For example in a bet, if your team loses, you lose everything. With this new platform, if you own shares of a team and they lose, the team value will only decrease. It's investing in your favorite sport teams.
You shouldn't send it to me because it is kind of confidential, isn't it? Once your website is completed, the first thing you gotta upload is your white-paper.

If the team value keeps decreasing, someday, eventually they will hit the bottom along with my investments correct? I believe these are virtual teams, the games are virtual and highly manipulative. Assuring fairness in this scenario will be a bit complex. Anyway, these are just my rough guesses, maybe your white-paper will tell more.
The whitepaper is confidential until all details are released.
You aren't stuck with shares of the team. You can trade them at anytime. This is essentially like a stock. Typically nobody holds on to stock until they hit rock bottom. This is a new concept we are bringing to crypto and blockchain. I can explain more in detail if you're interested. If so, please contact me at admin@finteksports.com and provide me with your bitcoin talk username.

If you are looking to build a team, I think its much better if you are going to post it on this thread:

You can post something like you are looking for someone to write a whitepaper or looking for a smart contract devs. Just be careful though, you better to hire someone with experience and not some fly-by-night writers are mostly ICO white papers are plagiarized. Anyways, good luck to your project though. Might be a long road ahead with some bump but I do hope you succeed.
Thanks Kemarit. I will definitely take your advice

Nice to see already that your priorities are almost correct, except that funding should be the last. But then, you probably already know that!

Take a look at your competitors first. There's a wealth of new material and developments going on in gaming, with all kinds of niches and branches, but they're all pretty much working in silos. You might as well tap into their expertise, probably learn a lot more from there, and at the very, very least, access for free all their individual gaming communities - you also never know who you find in these circles. Much more specific expertise than you'd find here in any case, at within the industry itself.

Reserve your funding concerns for when you actually want to build the product (game), post tech completion.
Thanks for the advice. Are you saying that I should focus on the ICO first, ie...whitepaper, landing page, marketing. I'm actually ready to build the project. This idea will actually be the first running on the blockchain and using crypto. With non-blockchain/crypto, there is only one site that compares.

Hi. I'm the founder of FinTekSports LLC. FinTekSports aims to be a blockchain-based fantasy sports solution that connects cryptocurrency enthusiasts, sports fans, and traders around the world with a transparent, easy-to-use, investor friendly platform. Individuals on the platform will be able to trade peer to peer what we like to call 'blocks' of their favorite sports teams in resemblance to what one would do with stock, an altcoin, or a platform-based coin. I'm starting a small community, and basically just me working on it right now (very early stage) but I am working out some partnerships at this time. I am looking for business partners that can bring all sorts of value to the startup. This can include but not be limited to: startup funding, blockchain/smart contract programming skill, attorneys/legal help (especially in corporate law and with securities), marketing/community cultivation, etc.

If interested you can email me, or reply to this thread.

I definitely plan on doing that. Should that be done before my landing page is officially completed?
Which part?
For now make use of the forum features like your own signature space, website link, skype and other contact info
that can be edited here: forumProfile (if the link didn't work go to your profile, then click "Forum Profile Information")
Link them to any of your affiliated pages and be active on the forum (do not spam) to promote the links without being annoyingly-obvious.

You can start by establishing Social Media pages, Discord and Telegram groups as a drop point for interested individuals to share your vision, mission and goals while the project rolls on.
Whether they are interested to the bounty, airdrop or potential investors, any person can act as a "free advertiser" for you.

Start the "actual marketing" once you've completed a solid plan, a reliable team and a considerably 'working' part of the roadmap.
Thank you for the feedback. So you're saying I can start building a community before the landing page is ready for ICO?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking Feedback on an Exciting New Project on: August 26, 2018, 11:41:49 AM
First of all, I hope you can succeed. But in the current downward market environment, it may mean that it is harder for you to get money and technicians.
I've started writing the white paper and developing the landing page myself. Do you think the ico can be successful doing everything myself and then hiring a team if all goes well. Also what is your take on offering individuals av stake in the company and/or tokens for work. I really feel like this is the next big thing.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking Feedback on Crypto Sports Trading Project on: August 26, 2018, 09:35:56 AM
Can anyone recommend the best way to market?
Can't suggest the best considering your team's current state, just start with links.
Buy a Copper Membership (about $20) to enable links and remove the newbie restrictions.
Go to your profile settings to add a signature with links to this thread, your ANN thread and/or Telegram & Social Media pages, use the Website/Skype info boxes as well.
fast-forward:

Now if things gone smoothly:
  • If you got a small budget (since the reward are the tokens/coins itself), start an altcoin bounty signature/twitter/facebook campaign to spread the word (Cheap but don't often get enough good posters, mostly spammers; mostly despised by forum members)
  • Got the funds? Start a Signature Campaign handled by a good bounty manager, ICOs and projects which endorsed by those often have good returns in terms of fame/trends.

regards.
