Rpcport is not even mentionned anywhere, and cant possibly even download the core, no nodes, no connections = shit project
RPC port you can choose by yourself , its not important to use some "our" rpc port ... it is only for communication between velesd and veles-cli , i'm sorry for nodes , i will hard-code new seeds to code in next wallet update ( in week or 2 ) by the way u can use addnode option , like "veles-cli addnode 95.217.63.151 onetry" and calling project shit just because you don't understand basic things is a bit rude . |

VCIP01 fork on a new code-base ported from latest Bitcoin v0.17 . The new features of our fist major update, code-named VCIP01 (Veles Core Improvement Proposal), which was already activated at block 50k : - dynamic block rewards increase up to 100x depeding on the algo - 10x maximum block reward increase combined with shorter initial halving periods, aimed to release more VLS to circulation to help liquidity and to motivate miners, while still ensuring the same maximum supply and the same inflation curve later on. - multi-algo rewards will be lot more equal among the different algorithms, the calculations are base-lined on average market price of each algo's hasrate per hour improved dynamic reward system with automatic block reward re-adjustments (within the range of maximum and minimum block reward limits) after each halving period, based on total amount of VLS mined during the halving period - as a first coin * we have introduced dynamic non-linear halving period - the halving interval will double each time another halving occurs, creating smoother supply curve. Each halving might by automatically delayed by another length of halving interval if not enough VLS has been mined since the last halving (we have implemented this measure to mitigate some disadvantages of multi-algo dynamic rewards, where less coins are mined if the hashrate is low, to ensure the real supply curve will stay as close as possible to theoretical model). We have included new RPC command to get the information on the current and past halving periods, current maximum block reward, number of halvings occured, the current halving interval, etc. - smooth masternode reward percentage increase from 5% to 60% of the block reward in approximately 5 years period (the current percentage of masternode rewards was 40%, but with the 10x increase in the block rewards happening in the same time it means the amount of masternode rewards paid with each block will be slightly * higher * than the current rate) - smooth Veles Developers fund reward percentage decrease from current 5% to 0% after approximately 5 years period, after which the so called "dev-reward" aka "founder- reward" will be completly * disabled *. The update also includes many improvements and fixes ported from Bitcoin Core v0.17, FXCT v0.17, and other small fixes and improvements by the Veles Core developers (for example a new RPC command to display the current hashrate, difficulty and related information for each supported algorithm). - new wallets https://github.com/Velescore/Veles/releases/latest

Multi algo, what is this?
I did not hear about the term, 'multi-algo', so please give me a bit clear clarification on this one.

"Multi-algo" means that there is available more than one algorithm , so u can use atm lyra2z , x16r, x11, sha256d , scrypt . |

not so much happenings here -  how are you going to attract traders for your coin? with so many alts and tokens, it's really hard to compete with the market. Hello mate , chain is live only few days and circulating supply is around 55K, so its acceptable that the exchange is not our priority , atm we are working on detailed whitepaper and technical paper to prove it as close as possible for investors/supporters/miners , that we have clear vision how to achieve a real result. We will contact Crex24 ,when whitepaper and technical paper will be released . How much need collect for paying listing on Crex24? Current exchanges = garbage and maybe Crex24 will be smart way... I think that there is no static price for listing , so its around 0.1 - 0.3 btc , probably depends on lot of factors. |

Hello please can you specify what is MIA ? the chain was stopped for one Month and now is relaunched .All information were annoucede and all coins are in swap process. Everyone gets his own , so after relaunching chain we decided to make new ANN thread on bitcointalk , but as you can see i put here also link on old bitcointalk . MIA means Missing In Action aka Away from the project or Inactive. well you can not blame him because you did not post anything on the old thread and also this ann did not talk about your inactivity, that was why some people will feel this way or having some doubt about this project. you should have make it clear about your progress and what is going on with your project on the thread so people can understand it. Oh thanks for explantation. We wasnt Mia , just was a bizzy with work on project , i had few complications and need to reconstruct team , the key members stayed same , but i agree with you , here was a lack of information on my side and i deserve critics for that. We are in full strenght prepared to continue in development. You can look forward on coming whitepaper and technical paper when will be lot of information about d-VPN service use-case of our coin and also details about our coin features. Interesting logic behind the project: while most developers are trying to create coins that are protected from ASICS and even GPU farms, you're doing quite the opposite. Perhaps this is your advantage. I am interested in the answer to this question: the algorithm X16R - does not exist for him ASIC or my information is outdated?

And about the pre-sale coins available for sale on Discord right now, it's that way just for the beginning of the first phase of pre-sale, for the users who want to join at the very beginning, not a bad thing to do per-se I believe, actually gives me that oldschool OTC feeling. Yes, we're working on the project that it's supposed to be disruptive enough, to the governments and the industry, so that we prefer to stay anonymous at the moment. Maybe there is, at the end of the day, something true to what this guy has said, better safe than sorry (or safu). I think you have a very concrete concept and mission for the good of all humans in using the internet, but in my opinion it is not that easy, you will face world-class criminals who want to destroy your new project, I think you have to prepare mentally and very high security to anticipate it

Yes, another project with masternodes, which finally plans to make a use of them in real-world scenario, to provide new, useful service to our users. We know that the community is fed up with vast amount of MN coins which don't aim to accomplish anything else that Dash already does, the original masternode coin, just forking it or forking each other, changing only the key parameters of monetary policy to look more attractive to short term investor... We're aware of that, and we're here because we've been fed up of it too, and fed up to see all this bandwidth, computing power, resources and investments used only to feed someones vision for quick buck while processing almost non-existing transactions on their network, that one millionth clone of bitcoin/dash/whatever-blockchain network... It's just that we've found masternodes as a concept, perfectly fitting into our concept of providing decentralised VPN service. They'll be serving as an exit nodes in our VPN network, and the masternode concept provides battle-tested solutions for couple of our key concerns like ensuring service availability and incentivisation for the voluntary node operators, so why to reinvent a wheel if we can focus on the further progress and build some really cool stuff on the top of it... I've seen so many projects. But I liked this one more than anyone else. I think it will be great project! Good luck to developers!
Wondering what did you like about this one? Care to explain more. I can think of several reasons why people might like this project, for example because for many users it can offer a solution to the common problem of finding a reliable, affordable / cheap and decentralised - censorship-resistant VPN service, for others it can also be an easy way to get paid something back for their unused bandwidth in domestic conditions (without too much technical knowledge and the overhead of running your own hosting company and data-centres). I think the key focus in this area before releasing a final product to mainnet will be also be fine-tuning the algorithm that calculates a price of the VPN service usage, to ensure it'll always be affordable and cheaper than commercial providers. In my opinion there's demand in this kind of market and we can shave off some of the extra costs that affect large service-providers, in order to satisfy both our users and node operators. amazing project! very excited for this coin launch! looks very good! Maybe, you had a great chat because you're buying their MN. Of course, if the project is relatively fresh, they will address your concerns in a lightning speed. Try it once they are already in exchanges and their price is slowly declining, try asking about updates, progress what's going on and tell us if you will get the same response time. Maybe few months from now... We'll here to stay, it's gonna be our pleasure to prove you wrong in coming months/years... unless we'll be able to establish fully functioning decentralised governance and project management system, and leave the decentralised organisation to run solely in the hands of community - which is likely years ahead, so, yes, we're here to stay to drive and support this project. Anyway, talk is cheap, I think only time can prove you wrong on this one. |
