Would I be banned when I stated the source
You didn't source anything. You copied the whole page of the book - word by word -, pasted it here and put a small line at the end saying "Source in this research is a cryptocurrency educational book";

You wanted it to make look like you just took some data from the book and wrote the text yourself instead of making a full Ctrl C + Ctrl V. And not only that, but you also linked your thread here so people could see your post, think that you wrote that post and merit you. You didn't even link the original research.
I have links to post that where copied and source stated and got merited why am i under the hammer. As long as the source is stated that is not plagiarism

You don't make good posts, you make good copy-paste
https://prnt.sc/kzwpms
What am I missing as far as him copy/pasting?  I looked through the posts he linked to and didn't find anything from your link.

OP, stop whining about not getting merits.  You're obviously obsessed with earning them and are making extremely long, rambling posts that aren't interesting or well written.  I wouldn't merit any of them.

This one:
Cryptocurrency are a digital asset that when transferred are not easily recovered accept the recipient does so.
Cryptocurrency market has seen a great uprising so far and this has cursed the exchange to be a major target for criminals and hackers.

Exchanges are in possession of a good amount of cryptocurrency so this has been the primary target. A lot of event has led to the loss of customers funds and wide variety of schemes has been employed ranging from outside server breaches to inside theft.  In many cases exchanges where losses occurred were forced to close and customers funds were never recovered.

One 2013 study analysing the survival rate of 40 bitcoin exchanges found that over 22% of exchanges had experienced security breaches forcing 56% of the affected exchange to go out of business

73% of exchanges controls customers private keys making them a potentially attractive heaven for hackers as these exchanges have possession of user funds denominated In cryptocurrency.

23% of exchanges do not have control of customers private keys thereby preventing exchange from accessing customers holdings or not being able to return funds to users in the event the exchange ceases to function

Security measures.
Exchanges use a variety of internal security measures to monitor production access and restrict access to sensitive information. However large exchange use them considerably more often than small exchanges

91% of large exchanges and 83% of small exchanges uses software to create a complete record of all internal process and action which allows them to quickly discover potential inconsistency. The largest difference between small and large exchanges is observed regarding the use of a special hardware dedicated to a single purpose example air frappes dence for cold storage of cryptocurrency funds.  This are used by 91% large exchanges and 59% small exchanges

82% of this large exchanges and 62% of small exchanges also use physical site location security system to monitor access to facilities 73% of large exchanges use various type of consensus mechanisms that requires several employees to authorize a specific action.

Key storage
This section refers to the key management system that exchanges use to secure both customer and exchange key

Cold storage
92% of exchanges indicate that the use some form of cold storage system example generating and keeping keys offline

Multi signature and private key storage.
Multi signature is supported by 86% of production systems from large exchanges but by 76% of small exchanges.

All exchanges that do not use cold storage system have multi signature support.  85% of large exchanges and 75% of small exchanges that has cold storage system also have multi signature support. Large exchanges that support multi signature architectures also more often use external third party multi signature platform than small exchanges (60% compared to 44%) while large exchanges distribute keys of multi signature wallet among multiple holders 19% of small exchanges does that

Source in this research is a cryptocurrency educational book..  Global cryptocurrency benchmarking study

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What "event" will be the nail in the coffin for your Bitcoin goals? on: September 28, 2018, 04:03:56 PM
Well I have great reason that I am involved in bitcoin. Bitcoin is the biggest and most valuable coin in the cryptocurrency world and it has done greatly.
Right now there is no logical reason to leave bitcoin but one of the reasons that will make me leave bitcoin is if bitcoin becomes a security token thereby making it under the regulations of external bodies like sec, or any governmental bodies
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin bite on: September 27, 2018, 12:26:46 PM
It's only right never to fully trust anything that sound so good like its said not all that glitters are gold. bitcoin was created in 2009 by sir satoshi nakamoto. Bitcoin is a developing technology  which offers great advantages and also there are set backs. Bitcoin growth rate so far has been sporadic with more investors coming in.

bitcoin has gained trust even by those that where critical about it on the on set. There are so many ways bitcoin offers opportunity you can venture into mining, investing or trading but all this opportunity are quite competitive with so much people interested in this great project bitcoin so if you do not work hard you might not gain it's is necessary to do a personal research on the gains and profit of bitcoin before venturing believing speculation and prediction can be lethal at times. A number of big names has come to show there support to bitcoin notably the international exchange(nce) ceo New York exchange (NYSE) chairman Jeffrey sprecher he believes that technology will bring about a great change for good to show this (NYSE) invested in a bitcoin service provider coinbase's $75m c funding this is the largest by and industrial firm.

Everyday more business accepts bitcoin this just gets to show how bitcoin keeps growing and bitcoin has become the love of most cryptocurrency enthusiast. New features and are been developed to make bitcoin safer, fast and accessible so some of this are not available to everyone one.
Will all this interest on bitcoin globally affect the volatility of bitcoin?

9  Other / Beginners & Help / Concise cryptocurrency on: September 26, 2018, 09:32:36 AM
What is cryptocurrency? Cryptocurrency can simply be defined as a digital form of money based on a software platform as a medium of exchange that is transparent and secured.
Ecash was the first thought of cryptocurrency in 1983 by David chaum it was then implemented by him in 1995 through digicash. The first decentralized cryptocurrency is bitcoin which was created by sir satashi nakamoto in 2009. Any other coin apart from bitcoin are called  altcoin(alternative coin) there are a number of them you can check coinmarketcap.com for top coins. Coin get into the cryptocurrency world by organising an ico(initial coin offering) this attracts investors. Cryptocurrency is like a big world of its own and there are some terms used here.  You can read up useful term here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=126798.0 by yogi Cryptocurrency is gaining a steady acceptance globally but this acceptance varies from country to country. Some countries for some reasons has put a total ban on it countries like Iraq, egypt, Morocco, Nepal and Pakistan while in countries like the USA, china and Canada there are suggested ban that are not being directly expressed.

Cryptocurrency aims at making transactions easier, faster and more secured but there has also been some set backs.

   Advantages of cryptocurrency
It eliminates middle man involvement:  middle man is also referred to as third party in legal term third party is an individual or entity who is not party of the transaction but has an involvement. Right now globally The issue of third party involvement is on the increase when. When trying to acquire a property or make day to day transactions via the traditional means this process would require a middle man which can impose as an extra fee or make it slower. Cryptocurrency eliminates all that in crypto you are in control it being decentralized means that it is beyond the reach of any board or government regulations thereby no need of any third party.

Prevent identity theft and fraudulent practice: using traditional means of transactions there has been issues of identity theft and fraudulent activity. The use of card rather than cash is becoming a norm well this is not bad but there has been cases where card of an individual has been used by another to make payment with out the owners knowledge this is act is fraudulent. In cryptocurrency your identity and personal information are secured and only you has access to it. Also the blockchain tech is transparent which makes it difficult to carry out corrupt acts

Acceptance: ever try using the Japanese yen to make payment or transactions in Leicester England well that might be difficult or not possible. Globally countries varies in there forms of payment and transaction although innovation has been made to tackle it like the use of credit and debit cards but still not effective the issues of high cost, bank authorization and so on are still there crypto being decentralized has no third party involvement so no issues of bank authorization,  fee and it is done anywhere at good speed with no cost

 Some setback of cryptocurrency

Cryptocurrency is still in it growing stages: although this innovation has shown a great deal of growth and strength it is still a young one so there are bound to be errors and some field that has not been accessed. Cryptocurrency still has a long way to go to achieve stability and acceptance but it is surly on the right track

Requires a bit of technical shrewdness: cryptocurrency is a digital money built on a soft ware so this implies that there is a need to have a bit of knowledge of technology which poses as a challenge to some individuals and countries that are not technically advanced but this issue can be tackled by employing a trusted technological representative to aid you

Software can fail. Cryptocurrency is established on a software platform and there are possibilities of a software that is not properly built to fail it crash. Example the tsb bank had soft ware issues that caused panic amongst it customers

It's can be hacked: like every other software application can be hacked cryptocurrency is not an exception. Cryptocurrency exchanges has been under the attack of hackers which if done can lead to lost of funds. The largest hacking incident in cryptocurrency history was on My. Gox exchange where over 1.35millon bitcoin was stolen. Well this can be tackled by implementing hard cyber security measures and for individual always protect your wallet private key

So many post has been made and is still been made about the precious merit.  Well I don't think getting merit should be the primary aim. Let's be honest most people did not care about attain any merit because there where free to partake in bounty hunting not ontill the new rule came in play and turned on the search of the precious merit.
Well for bounty hunters who are so interested in earning rather than learning or making productive post.  Rather than pilling up the forum with shut post you can just engage in other campaign other than signature. You can engage in social media campaign that requires you to share, like and retweet and so on well this is an easier way for the lazy ones. And it WI help you earn and help us here in the forum to learn

I could not put it myself better Cheesy
If i give you that 1 merit will you just leave?
My core reason of joining this great forum is to increase my general knowledge of cryptocurrency and if my post are of interest it fair I get merited. And all my post here WI be productive trust me on this

I would merit you but you joined in late Aug. but no posts prior to the new rules! Are you a bounty spammer that is kinda smart enough to delete your spam? I don't know anyone that would join to only read for a month!

WITHOUT ASKING A QUESTION!
You only have one merit which can be bought or gifted well I would strive to be a better person here even though am new I will get what I deserve I think this forum is fair.  Well thanks for your intentions to give me merit even though you have only one

But you never answered my question! Why would you deserve a merit? your past post shows some helpful info to some users, problem is (IMO) you have erased a lot of spamming post. Users that are giving merit look for these indicators. So my questions is what happen to "Hillary's lost email" aka post prior to new rules?
I have erased nothing pls you can ask the moderator for my post I know btt has a back up system.  And about Hillarys lost email that is a corruption case. My intentions here are clear and I don't think it's right doubting me

I urge and plead for more attention on local board for a union growth of the forum.
No learning all languages is not possible but like facebook there is a translator app that allows post to be translated I know this is a very difficult addition but it can be achieved first by spreading the needs for great post to be understood and every one can learn

What exactly are you proposing? Are you suggesting that we all learn the languages of the world, specifically to search for more posts to merit?
14  Other / Meta / Getting merited on post made on local board on: September 25, 2018, 06:59:17 PM
English is to an extent the most accepted language and obviously the most used on this platform.
We are all here to make an impact by creating great post and also be impacted on by great post.
Great post can obviously be made in diverse languages and also people are reached by this. Statistically less attention has be given to the local board and it can affect the resolve of great minds that do there best to make good post.  I urge and plead for more attention on local board for a union growth of the forum.

The cryptocurrency market is a very technical and volatile one that needs to be well understood before investing in other to minimize your losses and maximize your profit

Well alot of strategies has been put out there some by expert some out of experience. So from my reseach here are a few tips

Start low and grow your self. It is best to start investment small and then gradually grow your self.  Avoid being greedy it can cost you negatively

Keep a constant observation on the market. The cryptocurrency market is volatile and is prone to changes so make is a priority to always look into the market. A good observation on issues like; which coin is worth buying and holding for future purposes, which coin has the highest market cap, which has no value, which coin is constantly being shilled.

Try investing in not just only one cryptocurrency; it is
very wrong to put all your money into one coin. there are some coin in the cryptocurrency world like bitcoin and ethereum that are good for investment but statistics has shown how good ripple can be and the growth is quite OK.  So you can diversify in investment and invest in more than one coins to minimize your risk and losses

For newbie is not necessary to start with huge money. A simple 200$ can be substantial. Your cryptocurrency wallet need to be set up then you can purchase bitcoin and ethereum why because this two coins are currently the biggest and has a higher level of safety. When you've begun exchanging and contributing, you'll see over some stretch of time a few monetary standards will improve the situation than others.

For example, you've watched Bitcoin's market and it has gone up though Ethereum has gone down, you can drag your assets to the higher money advertise. This implies, you can play around as indicated by what's working in the present market and always reallocate your cash
After you must have understood then you can increase you capital from 200$ to 500$ and the gradually you will get to the moon
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Risky of cryptocurrency on: September 24, 2018, 02:39:04 PM
1. Some Technologies Will Fail
Remember that cryptocurrencies are basically software, created by people or companies. So just like Webvan or Pets.com in the dot-com bust, some of these technologies will fail.

…and they will fail spectacularly.

Right now, there is a lot of buzz around certain cryptocurrencies increasing several thousand percent, in a few months. This has a lot to do with ignorance and hype.

Just like when people found out that this new thing called the “internet” would change the world of business.

Did it change the world?

Of course.

But was there a lot of dumb money that overhyped the first wave of internet companies?

Totally.

So just remember, trading cryptocurrencies is kind of like trading a software stock. Some of the software will change the world.

Others will explode in a giant ball of fire.

There are also a lot of scam coins out there, so be careful. Like penny stocks that are just a company on paper, almost anyone can create a new cryptocurrency.

Learn how to separate the scams from the deeply underpriced currencies. Then use proper risk management and play the odds.
2.  It Requires Technical Savvy Computer Let's face it, cryptocurrencies were created by super nerds. Like with Linux, there is still quite a bit of technical know-how that is required. You don't need to know how to code, but if you are “not good with computers” you may want to stay away from cryptocurrency trading, at least until they start building more user friendly interfaces.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not calling anyone dumb. I'm just saying that if you don't possess a certain skillset, then you shouldn't get involved in that area. This could cause you to lose a lot of money, very quickly.

For example, I don't know how to sew, so I don't make my own clothes. If I did try to make my own clothes, everyone who meets me would think I'm a weirdo for wearing fucked up pants.

You get the picture.

So if you aren't so tech savvy, but still want to get involved, find someone you trust to trade for you.

3. There's a Lot of Broker and Technology Risk
Since this is emerging technology, there are still a lot of unknowns with trading at scale and how brokers and the software will react to certain surprise events. If you think that Forex brokers are risky, then you should consider cryptocurrency brokers at least twice as risky. Not just because they could be shady, but there a still so many unknowns with the technology.

However, I would still trust the bigger cryptocurrency exchanges over a lot of offshore binary options brokers

So the lesson is: Don't keep too much of your coinage at the brokers. Move them off to your own wallet as soon as possible.

I'll get to wallets later in this guide.

17  Other / Beginners & Help / bullish system on: September 22, 2018, 05:30:34 PM
For some time past the cryptocurrency market was experiencing a slight draw all this seems to have calmed down giving birth to the topic of how close are we to the bull run and also are we prepared for it

To every cryptocurrency enthusiast the bull run is quite significant and always greeted with great joy and even more joy after this stretch of the bearish market

During bull run bitcoin is like a bench mark when there is a pump but not all coin are influenced by the pump some of this coin even do the negative by dropping amid the pump period and even dips further when holders drops the coin for better coins

No one wants to Be left out so it's best to be prepared for the bull run
Always try not to be excessively ravenous do trade when ever there is a buy other excerpt your faith on the coin is strong.

Any coin that is not going up in the bullish market should be discarded

Never let go of top coins with good value

Securities probably won't be greatly influenced by the pump. it additionally has the benefit of holding out amid the bearish market.

What are your thoughts on the bullish run

18  Other / Meta / Re: Is one merit enough on: September 22, 2018, 04:16:44 PM
I will not stop using the word because it has and will take me places

I would argue that.  Grin

Word Sir is offensive to most people and it's being associated with shitposters. It won't take you far, at least not here in this forum.

The only reasonable use of Sir is when referring to Satoshi Nakamoto, it is well-documented and widely approved by the users here.

I want to read Sir Satoshi first post in this forum , but I can't search his post any more

OK I get your thoughts now and I don't think am a shit poster you can trust Me on that
19  Other / Meta / Re: Is one merit enough on: September 22, 2018, 04:08:38 PM
With all due respect sir there is nothing played here I just made a comment pls it high time the account of spammer  should not be melted on other. Is it a crime to be a newbie or am I been picked on because I am not up to your standard

I bet you will not get merit if you use the word "sir" frequently in the future, I am sure that the old members of the forum have been very disgusted with the word.
The best advice I can give you is "please stop using the word "Sir" and don't use it in the future."
Pls sir this your advice is the worst I have heard all year
Sir is a way of showing politeness I just made a post and I knew it would be greeted with a lot of criticism well I know some will like it and some will not.  And for the record sir I will not stop using the word because it has and will take me places

It's not the worst advice. You're certainly free to use "sir" and I'm sure many appreciate it or don't care either way, but most of the people I know on here actually don't like it when people use it. It seems more fake and sycophantic to me, and it's usually used when people are trying to suck up or apologise for something they've done wrong. You really don't need to use it. Just call people by their username and show politeness or respect in other ways if you wish.

Also, why are you assuming everyone is a sir? There are over 42 different genders and you are assuming we're one of two. #triggered.

Smile. OK hilarious I got it in my system now
