1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which books have you read on: July 01, 2020, 06:04:40 AM
So traders when I started trading I only knew about two indicators and nothing else after few days of trading I was in loss Grin

After that I googled ' top 10 books to learn trading ' and started reading books

Trading in the zone
Think and trade like a champion
trading for living
howard marks mastering the market cycle
Thinking fast and slow
now I am reading Little book that beats the market

I wrote this topic because I see many newbies and intermediate traders who have lost money and seeking for help , I think reading books is only way to gain knowledge and help yourself, don't go behind course and tips and waste your time and money , books are available for free just read and implement which Is what i did

which books have you read , how it is helping you

Allow us to mention a book we wrote about trading crypto: From Zero to Lambo. We made it as simple as possible for beginners to understand.
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A good book to learn how to trade. on: July 01, 2020, 05:51:21 AM
Most of the trading books that I have read is all about stock market, it is hard to find a book that is all about cryptocurrency. Anyway, the information in the books about stock market is also applicable in cryptocurrency market. There are trading strategies that I learned in stock market that I keep using even if I trade bitcoin. For those who want to buy and read books I prefer you the books of Minervini which is trade like a stock market wizard.

It's rare to find a book about trading crypto, that's why we wrote one. Hope this helps Smiley

4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading BTC pairs compared with USD-Crypto pairs on: June 02, 2019, 12:45:14 PM
Most altcoins can only be traded with BTC or ETH. Which means that alt traders can make their decisions based on two dimensions:
ALT <> BTC and BTC <> USD

If BTCUSD goes up, the buying power of BTC for ALT goes up, so they can either use the BTC to buy more ALTs. Or, convert their alts to BTC to sell back to USD.
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good platform/website to learn trading/read graphs on: May 30, 2019, 06:06:42 AM

I have been learning how to trade btc and altcoins by myself and having my experiences. I read online articles on trading signals and what to watch out for.  I've made some profits and lost a good deal.  Good thing I started with very little capital. Right now everything looks so negative especially as btc went so bearish.

I need advice on how to improve my trading because I really want to do this Angry

In a bear market, try shorting at Etoro.

I am tired of HODLing game and want to learn day trading. How to learn day trading and is there any free content available?

Don't limit yourself to day trading. You can also trade in the span of weeks, sometimes called swing trading.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should I learn to be a professional trader? on: May 29, 2019, 04:08:15 PM
I want to learn about being professional trader. I want to search and read some articles but I don't know whatelse.
What I read so far is about how to read candlestick. And I learn how to read indicator but I just learn it by myself.
So what articles to read? If you have some suggestion, please share here. I don't ask for the articles to read, I just ask for some clue what to learn

- What gives crypto value
- How to discern a scam coin
- How trading exchanges work
- How to read charts and indicators (BB, Aroon, RSI, etc.)
- What causes prices to move

Stock trading
- High barrier to entry
- Identification typically required
- Tend to be less volatile than crypto so far

Crypto trading
- Low barrier to entry
- Can be done anonymously
- Highly volatile
- 24/7
