The energy sector is striving to innovate as it should. We are still burning coal to power many of our homes and the way in which energy is sold and distributed across the countries has never changed in the last 100 years. Energy engineers are focusing on improving preexisting technologies but, on the other hand, there is a worrying shortage of original business models in this field.
