3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tezos discussion on: June 11, 2018, 03:46:25 PM
Why Tezos team not publish requirement KYC when ICO starting? If they said what need KYC for join ICO, then they collected a smaller amount. This is not unprofessionally.

They did not know the crypto landscape would change this much. At the time of the ICO of Tezos, requirements like KYC were not common. I've participated in many ICO's back then and no other project carried out KYC.

Times have changed and Tezos want's to be on the safe side.

Who need KYC?

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ⚽ XFCCOIN ▐ Fantasy Football Manager Revolution!▐Swap and exchange open ⚽ on: May 30, 2018, 03:08:44 AM
I made so many mistakes in 2017 but Football coin was the worst decision. I hope you made a lot on my corn -_-''

I am sorry if the results were not what you expected. But based on what you are saying, I think perhaps you were looking for a quick profit. Thanks for your confidence. However, we always said that we expected this to be a medium to long term project potential. As you see, we have continued to grow in regards to the game, site, the exchange etc. Therefore, we are certain the popularity will only increase.  Smiley

I'm still holding my share and will continue to watch this thread and drop by from time to time, as long you keep us updated on what's happening it's kinda slow in my opinion but this is how a great project proceeds, hopefully, something huge is going to happen in the coming months.

Thank you! That's great. I admit that sometimes updates can take some time to be made available. But that is because some things do require a lot of work to be fully tested and made functional. For example, the game. The new version of the game should should make it easier for our new users to play it. The mobile app takes some time to be tested. But once we have it released, we will know it's ready for use. And so on.

We are working with a very good marketing team and we would like to release some of the ads before the start of the World Cup. Thankfully, if all goes right, this will increase interest in the game and its profile.  Smiley

We can see a lot of coins with football concept around. A lot of them have a huge market, but with far less development than XFC.
Development and Marketing both are required.

Bitcoin is old, outdated, slow and uses too much energy. The price will soon be brought down to a level where miners will abandon it. Prices will continue to be kept lower due to CME futures.

Dollar looks old outdated and will be abandoned by all of you, right?  Grin Grin

Bitcoin has its own meaning. It suffers from up and down for many times but it always survives.

Most of guys gave up, you are not the only one among them.

Update Ardor.World 🚀 Cool
1. Ardor Rich List
2. Ignis Rich List
Link: https://www.ardor.world

I read the rich lists for Ardor and Ignis and found the problems for them. Only a small fraction people (~100) owned most of the coins.
The lack of popularity is the huge problem.

This site is getting better and better. Ignis at 10 cents is a shame though. I remember the future prices on HitBTC being around 25$.  Cheesy

I also remember too. The price is so high before the main net launch. I expected that the price will be higher after main net launch.
The fact is just the opposite. So strange.

Another good news. There are coming good news one by one. I expected this since the ICO as it is lead by a good team with professional skill.

Again good news

On bittrex, RLC is the coin with the biggest gain within the last 24hr. Good job.
RLC will hit its peak again and upon it.

It’s a baker’s life for me by Arthur Breitman
https://medium.com/tezos/c214971201e1
good read. I like the fact that right to bake is selected randomly. This is a very good system.

Learn more now about the mining mechanism of Tezos:
"Bitcoin has mining, Tezos has baking. In Bitcoin, miners compete to publish blocks containing a proof-of-work stamp by repeatedly hashing block headers. In Tezos, block creation is done by bakers. Rather than deriving the right to create a block by finding the solution to a proof-of-work problem, bakers obtain that right when a Tezos token (or rather a roll, see below) they own (or that is delegated to them) is randomly selected to create a block."

Good article from Arthur. Things are getting closer and the details are being revealed. And I think many will get attracted by the return and we'll huge demand on Tezos.

It is mineable! Good!

"To help bakers get started, the protocol initially ramps up deposits linearly from 0% to 8.25% over a period of six months. This ramp would give enough time to popular bakers to acquire the additional tokens they might need in order to bake all the blocks that they are allowed to bake. Delegates should monitor their treasury and be ready to react if they suddenly experience a surge in popularity."

I will be a baker..

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid Being Scammed Again on: May 24, 2018, 01:28:37 PM
I've seen many users complaining about being scammed by ICO projects most of them are new investors which probably gonna be the next generation of investors in cryptocurrency industry. I've been here in the cryptocurrency industry for a year and I've invested into different projects and seen how they disappear in the thin air, so to avoid this I want to share to you my criteria on choosing the right ICO or project to invest in.

This is not guaranteed but maybe in some point it may help you atleast to reduce the possibility on getting scammed by ICO's, the list below are my personal criteria how I choose Project to invest with using bitcoin or other cryptocurrency:

  • Check the Background of the team (If the team didn't give info about each member of the team such as name previous projects, background, etc. There's a possibility that they will just run away with your money if they didn't give info's about their team.)
  • Read their whitepaper and look if it's really worth to invest with, their concept, etc. (This is important to know what the project is all about.)
  • Check the Social media accounts, If you find it very interesting presentable. (Join their telegram group in order to be updated.)
  • Check the Projects professionalism (How they handle users, control frauds, etc.)
  • Follow their Roadmap and other technical details and see if they meet it on time.
  • Look for the projects community and see if the community is active.
  • Look for special proof and validation.
  • Do your own research about the project such as review about the projects or you can also check the projects ANN thread to see comments who's agree/disagree or the communities idea about the project because ANN threads is like an open forum where you can ask, give insights, etc.

NOTE: Investment is one of the riskiest way to earn money. Invest only what you can afford to lose, in investment there's only two possible outcome it's either you will earn or you will learn. Learn from your mistakes.

Just like what I've said this steps are my personal steps on choosing ICO/Projects in where I'm going to invest in. This may not help you but I hope you'll learn at least a little in my little sharing. Have great day every one, ciao.

PS. If you have something to share in order to avoid scam or any topic related feel free to share so everyone will learn from us.

Good paper.
To be survive in the crypto world, you should
1. not to be too greedy;
2. learn more knowledge on it
3. afford the loss of your investment;
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MOBILEGO Crowdfund [$53 Million] - Decentralized Mobile Gaming Solutions on: May 24, 2018, 01:24:23 PM
I think everyone needs to calm down. The token has already come out on a good stock exchange. For the summer planned activities
A good exchange is Bittrex, and everyone has long been waiting for the exchange to add a token for trading again. And everyone is worried, because a year has passed, and investors are experiencing information hunger.

I think the dev team should be responsible for their disability. For an ICO investor, I waited for over one year. This is a shit project without good exchange and development I have even met.

They are trying to destroy the image of bitcoin to make their product more better than it.
No sense for us.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 👽 [ANN][BIS]Bismuth - New Language, Free DAPPs, Cryptopia, HEAT on: May 23, 2018, 01:21:50 PM
Every year the story comes suddenly! People have the chance to get rich and buy the best coins, to support the best and solid projects! But what are they behind? It's from false promises, quick money and so on! In a few months or even 1 year, when they notice that each BIS cost $ 2 they will cry blood! I remember when ETH cost those same prices and today everyone knows what happened. Wink

Time will tell if you are right or not, I personally see for Bismuth a bright future as it have a lot of development behind the scenes, just look at github commits.

The big future may depend on a lot of aspects. The success of a coin not only requires the good development, but also need have a good application.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tezos discussion on: May 22, 2018, 12:09:15 AM
Compared with EOS, Tezos can be said to have bright spots and how to choose the market. We only have time to tell us.

Tezos should rise to $20 to reach the present market cap of EOS. I don't think it is so easy to reach it.
Compared to EOS, Tezos lacks so much marketing and the supporters and the whales.
lol “lack of whales”. one of the investors is Tim Draper, one of the biggest names in crypto community.

EOS is far ahead from Tezos is term of development that platform is almost ready to get launched but Tezos would take time to achieve their milestone. This could be the reason EOS is on the fire at the moment.
Tezos is almost ready to launch too. code reviewing is probably finished by now. beta net will be launched Q2 and mainnets Q3. These dates are officially announced, which was not the case before.

Is it the reason that the Tezos(Future) has changed to Tezos(pre-launch)?
We are so close to the release of the product.
That's good news for the investors.

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] æternity blockchain ∞ AE TOKEN ∞ [PoW & PoS | Oracles | Smart Contracts] on: May 22, 2018, 12:05:51 AM
Does aeternity will launch its mainnet on June? well, the hype is about to rock again if we look at the member joining the groups chat increase every day!!
it was confirmed few posts before that mainnet launch is still on schedule and there was no changes.

That's encouraging us. The nonstop updates of AE project will make the final release coming as expected. Not so far from now on.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SONM • Decentralized Fog Computing Platform on: May 21, 2018, 02:00:50 AM
Yes, Igor said in the last Q&A that we can expect a big partnership after live net release Smiley
SONM is listed only at Binance... We have a lot of space for gain in a price.
The best project and team that I ever seen Smiley
Binance is huge, ok?
The future of SONM will not depend on the exchanges who list SONM, but the application and the development of itself.
