okay. so for BFL ASIC miners:

./bfgminer -o stratum+tcp://stratum.btcguild.com:3333 -u username -p password -S all

I'm going to switch as soon as this block finishes at the other pool.

Is this what you bat file looks like?

./bfgminer -o stratum+tcp://stratum.btcguild.com:3333 -u username -p password -S all --icarus-options 115200:1:1 --icarus-timing 3.0=100

Im considering switching to BTC Guild from another pool, but I am still new.

Do most miners in this pool use CGminer? If so, why? Why not BFGminer?

I am currently using BFGminer and it works well. I have BFL equipment.

Just curious, but why do you need to down load p2pool software to join the pool?

Im new to slush's pool: I have a BFL Jalapeņo (7Gh) running BFGminer. What is a good work underrun?
