2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Best Coin/Pool/Algo to mine or use with GPU's ? on: March 26, 2015, 03:15:53 PM
Hi all  Wink

I used to be a pretty addicted miner and am now stuck with a butt load of gpu's and some cpu's.

I'm totally disorientated as to the situation with cryptocurrency mining right now; could anyone help me out and recommend the most profitable coin to mine with the following specs:

AMD 280x GPU's
AMD 7950 GPU's
AMD FX4300 CPU's

Electricity and Internet are both free for me so it would be pointless to leave the hardware in the boxes.
Thanks in advance!!

How did you get mac wallet to work?
also
how long does it take before you start earning money from stake?
thanks

It seems it broke again, trying to sync again =( Just saw someone posted a link to a new mac wallet, is it safe to use ?  Huh

the new mac wallet is safe. however it still gets stuck a few times, you will need to close and re-open it to allow it to catchup.
not sure why it's sticking, i had thought the checkpoints should have eradicated this issue.

anyway, wallet works fine.

OK thanks.
So it takes 30 days untill you start to make money of PoS?

no, you only make money when you sell your Sync for BTC and then sell the BTC for money.  Grin

haha but seriously though? When can I expect the little silver arrow in the bottom right to change?

I have to close the wallet before the fork?

No, it's better to keep the wallet online and let coins stake to support the fork and help generating new blocks

How long before staking starts?

Hi
First of thanks for creating this usefull mining software  Smiley

I can't seem to figure out though how I'm suppost to give each of my graphics cards individually different parameters (thread concurrency, intensity etc.) because I run a couple of different AMD gpu's  Huh

Any help would be great  Cheesy
Thanks in advance!

Click 'advanced miner settings'

Yes but if I use that it applies it to all my gpus at once, problem is I have 2 r9 280x's and 2 of the 7950's and they each need different parameters.
I tried ticking a gpu or highlighting it and then changing it but it still changes all gpu settings at once  Huh  Undecided

12  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGWatcher 1.3.5, a GUI/monitor for CGMiner & BFGMiner to help minimize downtime on: February 11, 2014, 12:53:38 PM
Hi
Omfg I love this program, exactly what I needed  Wink
Could you please add 1 feature though?
I mine with 4 cards on 1 rig, I own 3 of them, my dad owns 1 is there a way that you can make it so that you can get multiple profiles to run at once instead of juan?
Thanks again!
